Responded to my water break issue within the same day, spent time checking the problem, and we all thought the problem was solved at the first time. However, the same water break issue happened again that night. Ray and his team were very responsible and they came out the first thing next day morning to solve it. Effective, responsible and I would definitely recommend Ray Ross Plumbing to my friends.

Woke up on a Friday morning to a tepid shower. Clearly the hot water heater (gas powered) had heated its last drop. Water was oozing out of the bottom and the install date (10 years previous by a different home owner) made it clear that the whole thing needed replacing. I phoned Ray Ross on my way to work as he had done some minor plumbing work for me in the past. All I can say is WOW! They worked with me, around my complicated Friday work schedule, and actually installed the new unit before 5:30PM on the SAME DAY. Really unbelievable particularly as they didn't even get the part number from the old unit until late in the morning (my fault; had to race home on my break to get the info). Tim was fabulous, polite, and did a great job on the install. LOVE the new heater (with warranty) and have even noticed an increase in water pressure. Bonus. This was such a wonderful experience, particularly as I was resigned to cold showers for the weekend. Now I'm planning to get RR plumbers back in 9+ years BEFORE another emergency :)

It went great. Ray and Tim were punctual, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They were also quick and cost effective Ray helped me find the main house water shutoff. He also gave me a heads up that our water heater is nearing the end of its useful life. We got a great job at a fair price.

I called on a Thursday. I had been without water for so long due to my kitchen remodeling. My countertops were just installed and needed to wait until this was completed to have the plumbing work done. The woman who sets up appointments was so helpful! She was able to have someone come the next day to do the work. They gave me a fair quote and everything was explained to me that morning. I came home from work that day and everything was done perfectly. A note was left explaining everything that was done. I plan to use them for my powder room vanity and for whatever plumbing needs I have in the future. I will refer them to anyone who is looking for a plumber!

He and his crew worked fast and well. Everyone was courteous and readily answered any concerns I had about what was being done and why. He had a knowledge of code regulations.

Ray was prompt, friendly, and professional. He and his team arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and got right to work. They did a very neat job, both with the installation and the cleanup. When one of the parts that came with the boiler turned out to be defective (the hydrostat), Ray got on the phone with the company, verified that it was defective (so that I would receive a credit for the part), and located a replacement part about an hour away. He then went to pick up the part himself to make sure that we would have everything in working order by the the evening. Even after all that, he made sure to take time to explain how the boiler works and fits into our whole plumbing system. His price was fair and matched his estimate and he did a top-notch job. Even speaking with Anna Maria, the woman who runs the office and sets up the appointments, was a pleasure. I could not recommend Ray Ross Plumbing & Heating highly enough! We'll definitely hire him for all of our future plumbing needs.

The contractor was there first thing on Monday and quickly fixed the issue with the sink. This was the second time using Ray Ross plumbing and he will be my plumber from now on. Courteous staff, punctual, and professional.

We bought a foreclosed home that had been sitting for 3 years. Upon our inspection, we noticed that the bank had our water heater and lines to the bathrooms removed for some reason. Our inspector and many of our family/friends suggested that we should not consider the home & look elsewhere because that could be a sign of major plumbing work that needs to be done. We mulled it over & decided to take a chance & proceed with buying the home. Luckily we got it and started taking bids immediately from 8 plumbing contractors. After we met with Ray, we knew he was the man for the job. He paid attention to every detail, took notes, showed a genuine concern & interest for us being able to have the basics while the bigger stuff was being worked on, & even offered to work out a payment plan with us knowing we just moved & this is vital to our living. Ray and his plumbers are very professional & courteous. They stop to answer any questions we had and took time to show us why or how. Ray is always responsive and available and shows up everyday for updates and progress reports. He did an entire house worth of work in just a couple of days. We highly recommend Ray Ross for any plumbing needs. Everything you look for in a contractor. We will use him for as long as he is in business!

My sump pump failed due to over working from snow melting. I called Ray at 8 am and he came by the same morning to replace the pump and the check valve. He also contacted his electrician for the outlet that surged from the sump pump failure.

I had an emergency on a Friday evening. I used Shawn from Dedicated Cleaning of Birdsboro, PA and was very pleased. I did not need Ray since Sawn also fixed the leak. Just the fact that Ray was willing to come out on a Friday evening, I will use him for future problems.

Absolutely amazing! So professional and we had additional unforeseen issues which ray and Sean were out to our house immediately. My father was previously in the hvac business so when I called to tell my dad the issues ray had identified and the cost my dad was really impressed as Ray got on the phone with my dad to explain everything to him. This is such a relief as we have found a plumber for life! It is so wonderful when u find someone u can trust.

Ray was very punctual, early actually. He was even kind enough to wait in his car until the set appointment time because he saw we were eating dinner! He told us what he thought the problem might be and gave us advice on how to solve the problem ourselves. Best part, no charge! We will definitely be calling Ray for any future plumbing issues.

Ray Ross was recommended by my original (very awesome) plumber who couldn't do the job because of an illness in his family. You know the job is going to be done right when one great plumber trusts another, and I was not disappointed. Ray came out to look at the leaky shower faucet and showed me where the attached pipes had oxidized. He also explained that the whole shower mechanism was very old and is no longer made by the manufacturer; if he tried to force the original open then the whole thing could break. (I agree - my house is over 100 years old, and the whole reason for the plumber was that I felt uncomfortable trying to force open the shower handle in the first place!) He quoted me $450 to replace the whole thing (new handle, handle faceplate, spigot, and shower head - and the attached plumbing). He explained that he would purchase a new Delta mechanism. I asked if the mechanism could be purchased in the satin nickel color to match the rest of my bathroom. He called back later in the day for me to approve the extra $75 for the upgrade. I approved it. My one additional request was that the shower head be high flow - I was afraid of a weak shower with someone else buying it! He agreed. Ray came back when he said he would (he phoned me to let me know an exact ETA; slight delay due to his kids first day of a summer program. Still within the window I expected, so this was not a problem). He performed the job well, even with the plumbing in an awkward faux wall. Without being asked, he noticed that my toilet wasn't flushing well (I always had to hold the handle down for 10 seconds to get the job done) so he fixed it and even shimmed and caulked the base of the toilet. No more wobbling! I was so impressed I offered to pay him extra - he charged me ~$25 for materials only. All in all, an excellent experience - I highly recommend Ray Ross plumbing! (And the shower head is awesome - huge, reminiscent of a rain head, with spectacular flow. I only wish I had done this improvement years ago!)

So he did work and we were pleased with his job.

Ray Ross Plumbing came to repair and replace several pipes that had cracked in the wall of a very old building in Ardmore. The pipes had been dripped down through the wall and partially flooded the basement. The company came and gave me a reasonable estimate, considering he brought several men for a full day. This was a major job in my opinion, as it required opening several walls, replacing the main risers for the water and sewer, and sealing the wall back up. After opening the walls, he discovered a few small leaks that I wasn't even aware of and he repaired them without changing the estimate. His guys were professional, showed up early, and are experts at their craft. I plan on using them again. It's a major advantage to have a good plumber.

Ray and his crew were on time, professional and were considerate of our home and our time. They also kept an eye out for our pets! :)
