They came on time and did the job as promised.

John showed up at our place for the assessment of the work and gave us an estimate with the break down which was really appreciated as we could have decided what we wanted to have done. It turned out we decided to have the 3 trees pruned. The job was done less than 2 weeks after the estimate was approved and we were really happy with the result and everything was cleaned. I will definitely hire them again in the future.

I ended up not using the coupon because they did not service my area. However, they emailed us right away to let us know.

John and his team were extremely responsive. He came out and gave me a quote and scheduled the work around our schedule. The tree was removed in one day but the root system was much more extensive than they had expected. John personally called me to see if we wanted to grind the majority of the root system as it would cause significant damage to the lawn to do so. I gave them the go ahead and it took another full day for them to grind them all away. Even though the work was greater than expected, he stuck to his estimate and we were extremely happy with the work. Professional, courteous, clean, and efficient.

He never gave us the estimate and he did not refund the money. If we don't hear from him soon we will be suing in magistrate's court.

Great! They were a little backed up, but called me on a Friday at 1pm and by the time I got homw at 530 the tree was gone. Very clean and professional.

Pell's used tree climbers, when necessary, for safe tree removal. They were able to move me up on their schedule because 2 trees were cracked and leaning dangerously. Very professional and respectful. Hard working tree crew.

Pell's Landscaping had a large crew manually dig out an approximately 5 foot root ball, then carefully move with a modified skid loader to a predug site and replanted the tree at the right level, etc. Leveled the original site. The work was done over the course of several weeks.

We had a major ice storm last week which caused many power outages and damage. We lost two Plum trees and had major damage to many other trees. One tree was near the house that was still standing and damaged. I got Mr. Pell's name from Angie List and I E-mailed him two days after the storm. Within 3 hours he called me. Even though he was very busy he arranged to come to my home the same day. He inspected the damage and gave me an estimate. It was a very fair estimate and he offered to write up the estimate and send it to me. It sounded like a fair estimate and I needed the work done so I told him I wanted to do it as soon as possible. He was able to squeeze me in the next day. Since there were down trees and wires everywhere and he was very busy I thought he would just take care of what had to be done. He came the next day with two or three other men and worked and did a complete and excellent job. He removed the two down trees and went up in the other trees and removed the dead branches and pruned the trees near the house. They worked for about 6 hours and my entire lot was fixed, the even raked up all of the dead branches (we had several inches of snow on the ground). They did an excellent job. I can not recommend him highly enough. We will use him for all of our tree work in the future. He did exactly what he said he would do (and more) for the price that he quoted, and his price was very fair. Considering the situation we were in he could have taken advantage of our needing his services but he did not. He was excellent

.The design and implementation of the project was just as we hoped, and then some. The retaining wall was beautifully done. Several ideas for this main visual component of the design were discussed, and the final one presented allowed us to stay on budget while adhering to our original vision. The laborers who installed it were pleasant and skilled, and the designer/project manager came out daily to view the progress. At one point after spending all day on placing and leveling just the right stone, it cracked. The next day, when the previous days work was reviewed, it was removed and replaced with an uncracked stone. In addition, suggestions were made to enhance our original vision that were much appreciated, and also, a change made by us midway was taken in stride. The job was completed beautifully and within budget. We would be happy to have the Pell's team back again.

Everything was done as scheduled and took place while I was at work. I never even met the crew. When I came home aside from some sawdust and the missing trees/parts of trees, there was no evidence of them having been on my property. Very professional every step of the way! Price for stump grinding seemed a bit high, so we chose not to do that service. However, that high price does explain the "B" for price. We used a $250 for $500 worth of service Big Deal coupon for this work.

Pell's employees did a good job. They were fast, neat and efficient.

They had to remove part of a fence to get their equipment on the property, but restored the fence to its original condition upon completion of the job. The work was difficult but they accomplished it within two days. I intend to hire Pell for additional lawn work in the spring.

It went very well. The guys did the job quick and left the back patio very clean.

The appraisal was clear, and broken down to give pricing for each tree that needed work. I was then able to pick only the ones I wanted to work on at this time, and now I have an idea of what to expect in the future for the remaining work. The work that was performed was done well and they cleaned up everything when they were finished. I am very happy with the way everything looks at this point. Tree work in general is not inexpensive, but I thought the prices were fair, especially in light of the Angies List Coupon.

Prune a Pear tree and a Siberian Elm. Very nice and professional. Did what they said they would do, left nothing behind.

All went well. After I purchased the $250 coupon, I called to schedule my appointment. Stephanie did say that the were very busy due to a large number of the coupon purchases and my tree service would be 3 to 4 weeks out. I was not in a hurry so that was fine with me. They did show up about 3 weeks after my purchase and removed the 35' pine. The next day they returned and removed 2 stumps. They did a great job and I will definitely use them again in the future.

The yard was well cleaned up after the project.

I recently moved into a new house on a property with many large mature trees that badly needed pruning. I contacted Pell's and set up an appointment with the owner to give me an estimate. John was on time, very courteous, and took the time to walk the property to evaluate all the trees that needed attention. An itemized estimate was emailed to me promptly with the option to pick and choose what I wanted done with prices listed for each tree. I contacted the office and told them what I wanted done and was told a crew would be sent out in about three weeks (it was a very busy time of year for them). In a little less then the three weeks, I was notified that the crew would be arriving in a couple of days. They arrived on time and did a great job with all the trees and removing all the brush and branches. I would highly recommend Pell's for their services.

Wish it had been spelled out that contractor required $500 just to come out and climb a tree.

Pell's took care of all of it. While it took some time for them to get to me[they are very busy this time of year] once on the job,they were very professional and did there job well. While I never saw them working as I was always at work, I saw the results of their work. I only wish someone would tell me about any other tree issues I may have coming. Other than that everyone I spoke to on the phone treated me kind and informed me of when they would be on my property. I would use them again.

It went fine. The only issue I had was that I wanted some more branches taken off one of the trees and the supervisor said they were only to remove dead wood.

All went well, they were very responsive and dealt with the urgent issue within 48 hours.
