1. Dishwasher is not working. 2. They came and diagnosed the problem (door latch doesn't work, so sensor doesn't get triggered), but cannot fix it. 3. They charged me $137.8 for "coming and finding the problem". So...next time when you have a problem with your appliances, think twice before you hire this company, as you could be just like me, paying them only for finding the problem, not for fixing it. Buyer Be Aware. P.S.: One more thing before you decide to hire them - check them out at BBB site (search for Mr. Appliance BBB review) and get ready to be amazed by how many negative reviews they got - spoiler alert: their average review is one-star.)

We were told it could be fixed but it would be costly.

Service was okay. Price was a bit high.

All went well. I had to pay for the repair visit, of course, but he gave me some helpful advice on selecting a new washer. Mr. Appliance tells you the name of your repair person in advance ands send a picture, so when he shows up, you know it’s OK to let him in. I appreciated that service.

Awesome. James (repair guy) was great. Really knowledgeable.

Probably the best experience I’ve ever had in appliance repair. Same day service, great communication (phone, email and text). First repairman James quickly diagnosed issue, contacted a second repairman to come out and clean ducts all within 2hours. Worked with office to combine/reduce service fees. Both servicemen provided some unsolicited tips to keep both washer and dryer working properly. Billing was emailed to me in a pdf before they left the driveway. Awesome.

Well. Vent was clogged so he cleaned it and found a plastic bag in it? Was very nice and helpful.

Everyone was professional, courteous and friendly

The company employees were very professional, explained the situation, kept us updated, notified us as to the date & approximate time of the appointment, then emailed a more precise time, and sent a picture of the repairman. They arrived promptly, completed the work and cleaned up. After we experienced a problem, they called on a Saturday then returned the next business day to check that the installation was correct. This is the way to run a business and I would definitely recommend them.

The serviceman was courteous. He reviewed the noise and mentioned to me that the motor needed to be replaced. Provided an estimate of around $440/-. Based on my research, it turned out to be just a small component replacement, costed $10/-, replaced it myself. Hence, did not hire them.

The office was friendly and the tech was very knowledgeable.

Tuesday's visit didn't go well. I was quoted over $1000 for the two repairs, and I don't believe the quote to have been an honest one. The dryer motor is fine. All that may need replacing is a switch or relay. The dishwasher needs a new integrated motor/heater. I've priced the part online - before I even contacted this company the first time. The two repairs should have come in at under $300 for parts, and maybe another $300 for labor. When I disagreed with the exorbitant estimate, I was then charged about $170. For all of 30 minutes. Really? I have to admit, I didn't expect this from a company I found on angie's list.

Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, knew a great deal about various types of AGA stoves. Polite, patient with my numerous questions. Impressive knowledge base about the product as well as previous experience repairing AGS Stoves. This was not a newbie on his first repair job but someone who was really skilled, really loved his job and thought highly of the company for which he worked.He had a very positive attitude. It was one of the most positive appliance repair experiences that I have had in a very long time. I would call again this repairman to fix the stove, if needed,as well as to repair other appliances because I was so impressed with this first experience.

Went great! Provider showed up on time with good communication prior to arriving. Was able to determine cause of problem quickly. Fortunately, he had the part needed with him, and was able to do the repair right away.

The service went quick and easy. We have used Mr. Appliance in the past and specifically requested them to come back out, more importantly the same technician, as he was very professional and informative. They seem to do a very thorough job and they are professional throughout the entire visit. We are pleased with all the services that Mr. Appliance offers and how quickly they respond and come out to do the service.

Rich came out and diagnosed problem with refrigerator. He ordered the parts needed and came back as promised on Saturday morning to install new parts. He defrosted the refrigerator before leaving Tuesday and said it should run ok until he returned with parts. He was right. Quick, efficient and neat. He explained what the problem was and what would fix it. I Called to check on Saturday appt. and staff was friendly and helpful. Tech called before coming for appt. Thought price was ok for parts and repairs. Would use again in future.

Tech was very polite, called ahead of appt., was prompt, professional. This company seems to be well organized. I would recommend them!

I have an extended warranty on a Samsung dishwasher. It would intermittently stop working with lights flashing. I would call Samsung but then it would start working again. They said it needed to be in a state of non-working so they could see the problem. Finally, I had it. They sent out Mr. Appliance. But just before he came my electric went out for two hours from a storm and when it came back on, so did the dishwasher. Richard from Mr. Appliance took pity on me and checked google for other people with similar complaints, perceived the problem and ordered two new undated electric replacement panels. Two days later they were replaced. He came on time as agreed as quickly as I could reasonably expect anyone out to look at the problem. He knew to check other people's complaints, what to do and did it quickly. I was very pleased.

Process was good from start to finish. Once we agreed on a time, the service provider showed up to our house as promised fixed the problem in the dryer. Check it out to make sure it was running properly. Explained what he did. Was very professional and courteous. I would have him come back for all of my appliance needs.

Timely and professional but cost me more than I'd hoped for but that was the fault of the manufacturer and parts and not the vendor.

Perfect! Rich was knowledgeable, thorough, and made no mess. In and out in very short time and on-time with appointment. I'll put them on MY preferred list and highly recommend Mr. Appliance

I have a home warranty and my dryer quick working. The process is to call home warranty and set up a claim. I did and Mr Appliance was dispatched. I believe they were there the next day. Technician diagnosed a bad motor. Repair cost was about $500. My deductible for warranty company was $75.00. Warranty company decided to replace dryer with new due to repair cost on older dryer. Problem is they could not guarantee replacement would arrive quickly. They said up to 10 days and replacement model had already been discontinued. I asked Mr appliance to fix and they ordered the part and had me fixed up in no more than 2 days! They also to my $75.00 deductible paid and applied to repair cost! Pleasure to work with them.

The work Tech was on time and also called a head of time to verify the location and to give us an exact time of his arrival. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I was completely satisfied with his professionalism and knowledge.

Richard called prior to each visit and arrived at the time he stated. He was personable and professional. I will definitely use Mr. Appliance again.

Not Good. I first used Mr. Appliance in 2009 for the same problem and was satisfied with their work and cost (Approx $222.00). The broiler unit on my DCS range went out again naturally I called them again. The Tech arrived (same one as in 2009) on the time and date specified. He confirmed that there was a part required and said that he would need to order it from the manufacture. He gave is a firm price and we gave him a 50% deposit. Mr. Appliances' web site has the following statement: "Upfront Pricing. Before our technicians start any work, they always explain what they are going to do. You'll never encounter surprise fees with Mr. Appliance." Several weeks later we got a call from Mr. Appliance stating that we would need to pay $150 extra because a second technical was required to lift out the range due to the kitchen hardwood floors. My wife explained that we had other people who could perform that job and she was told that due to "insurance" that wasn't possible. She stated that we carry liability insurance for contractors in our home and was told that "they" would look onto it. They eventually got back to us and said that the only option was to use there person for the extra $150 so we reluctantly agreed. Several weeks went buy and they hadn't come so I called and was told that we had cancelled the order! I explained to the woman at the pother end of that telephone that we never cancelled to the order and were patiently waiting to get the broiler fixed. I was told then that the parts had been returned to the manufacture. When I became more insistent she than said that they would be there the in two days. (obviously the parts were not returned). Both tech arrived on the promised date and actually early. The put the part in and it blew.` They then determined that were was an additional problem, a frayed wire and they would need to replace the part that they just put in (supposedly at no charge) and order a wiring harness. There was no mention of cost and I assumed that the only additional cost would be for the wiring harness. Weeks went by and we called several times until finally we were told that the owner would look into getting the parts. Eventually we received a confirmed delivery time and the tech arrived on time and the parts were installed and everything worked fine. I was then presented with a bill for over $800. I was shocked and told the tech that I'd already paid a $250 deposit. He called the "office" and they said yes I had but that this was on top of the $250....$1080 to fix the problem! And almost 2 months and may telephone calls . I asked for an itemized bill (the tech only had a total), He said no problem but apparently it is because I have yet to receive one. So much for their "speedy" service and their upfront pricing.
