Sam was prompt and polite. He seemed to really know his stuff. I was a little put off, however, by the overall experience. Sam took me into the yard and pointed out all the problems we were going to have... underground pipes, the neighbor's drainpipe, a grade in the property, etc. He told me I would have to procure blueprints, get a surveyor to find exact property lines, and hire a contractor to level the grade. When I asked why he thought neither of the other two companies we'd gotten estimates from had mentioned these problems, he said only that Eagleville took pride in what they do, which is great. But later, I spoke with the owner of another company (with whom we'd discovered a personal connection and could speak frankly with) who said that he had noticed all the same concerns but had resolutions for each that were already worked into the estimate. There is a service they call to locate all underground pipes, that the grade was something they'd cut themselves since it was so minor, and that none of these things required us hiring anyone else. He wasn't sure why Eagleville would've recommended we did so or why they weren't willing/able to address these things themselves as they were fairly routine. Additionally, when we received the estimate from Eagleville, it was written as one lump sum even though I was pretty clear that I needed a base price with a separate option price for the removal and replacement of an existing fence on one side of our yard. When I emailed him to correct it, he sent me a price for the primary project and omitted all information and pricing for the option. Moreover, the measurement for the primary project was 18' larger than the measurements taken by the other two companies. I'm not sure if this is because he misunderstood the project or if he didn't measure properly. I'm not going to entertain the possibility that he was trying to sneak in an overcharge. In any case, we opted for someone else.

The estimate was free. I ended up going with another company. They were fine but they came in higher than the other company. They were perfectly nice. They were fairly responsive. I would probably still use the company I chose if I had other work.

I loved this company. They answered the phone or promptly returned my phone calls, showed up for work on time, and completed the fence with skill, speed, and professionalism. The price estimate was right on. The fence is about 6 years old now and it's doing great.

Called for an estimate to repair my fence damaged by my neighbor. Came within two days to do the estimate. The price was good. The crew arrived on time and did the repair in a quick, and professional manner. The people were great. This is the third time I have used Eagleville Fence. The two previous times it was for fence installations. Can't say enough good things about these folks. From the office staff on down. A super experience.
