Description of Work: I did not use their services. They suggested that it would cost me $4,000 to have the driveway redone. The $139 that I paid would not do the driveway any justice.

Description of Work: The first contact I had with this company went well. They agreed to come out to look at my driveway and give me an estimate. They came in the next few days. Unfortunately , they did not try to see if I was home to speak to me in person about the driveway. My car was on the driveway. They left the proposal in the door as they had said they would. Other companies that I had gotten estimates from rang the bell even though we had talked about ways they could leave the estimate. The proposal was different then the others and for less money. I called Dennis Smith on 4/3/13 to discuss the proposal. When he called me back he had no idea of who I was and even though he was sitting in front of his computer, as he stated during the call, he asked me what was on the proposal. Since I was in the car at the time I didn't have the full estimate in front of me. I did however have the number of the contract on me. He still couldn't come up with the proposal. We did discuss further the questions I had. This conversation left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I decided to go with another company because the cost would be comperable. Unfortunately, that company would never give me a schedule or call me back. I then decided to call Mr. Smith back and have him meet me to discuss the driveway. Unfortunately, he again let me down. He said he would be out the next day and would call in the am to let me know what time. I waited until 12pm to call him to find out when he would be coming. Every two hours after that I called again. Still no reply. Finally, at 5pm he called me to let me know he had a breakdown and couldn't make it. I asked him why he hadn't called me earlier, especially given that I had been calling him. He said he had been busy all day with the breakdown and he didn't get my messages since I was calling the office and he was on the road. My feeling is that he should be checking his messages throughout the day. Anyway, he said he couldn't come out until the weekend, this was Tuesday April 30, 2013. Meanwhile, I was referred to someone else who came out on Thursday to give the estimate and did the work on Monday. The next time I received a message from Mr. Smith was Wednesday, May 9. Too late. It's a shame that he was unprofessional in his contact with me because he has glowing reports on Angies List and I would have hired him if he had come to see me on the 30th of April as scheduled.

Description of Work: The crew showed up right on time and got right to work. They pointed out the areas that they would be repairing before they coated the whole driveway. They completed the work in about two to three hours, and left the property clean and neat. They advised me to keep vehicles off the driveway for at least a day or two, and he even called on Tuesday evening to remind me it would now be okay to park cars on the driveway again.

Description of Work: Dennis was timely and professional. He did exactly what he said he was going to do with no fuss. In addition, he was neat. I will use him again when I need to seal coat my driveway again in 2 years.

Description of Work: I called Driveway Maintenance on Wednesday 04/24/2013 to request a quote. Mr. Smith called back that evening to say that he would be over. On Friday he stopped by, measured the driveway to be sealcoated, and asked if we wanted the job done the next day (Saturday). We were in no rush, but Dennis had other jobs to do in our neighborhod on Saturday 04/27. Precisely at 9:30 AM Satuday the crew appeared and coated the driveway. They were careful and thorough; no sealcoate splashes on copncrete or garage doors etc. A very nice job. On Monday they came by as promised to remove their sign, the stakes and tape etc. The price was as quoted, and the invoice included a thoughtful thank-you note. Oddly enough, we received three calls from two other local sealcoating firms on Saturday and Sunday, announcing they would be "in the neighborhood" to seaklcoat our drive. This may be just a coincidence, due to the onset of very Spring-like weather here.
