Nothing was damaged. Wrapped well. Complained about moving furniture to second floor and how heavy some pieces were. I explained one piece was very large and heavy. At end they charged extra $150 because of a heavy piece of furniture.

The gentleman moved quickly with caution. I did already have everything packed, labeled and separated as I had two stops (new place and storage) Which probably helped things move a little more smoothly. But the gentleman completed the move under the estimated time. Would definitely use that company again!

I called them at the last minute because all my sons moving would not come to Phila Adams moving came the next day and they were great the 3 men were friendly and took excellent care of my stuff if you’re moving there the company to go with

The moving crew called ahead of when they would arrive, were on time with that estimate, and performed the entire job within the original two-hour estimate. Even though there were some heavy items and stairs involved, the crew was able to move everything with minimal interruption to others using the building, and took great care to keep walls and doorways from being marked/bumped by the items being moved. The entire crew was polite and kept in communication with us during the entire process, so that the correct items were moved.

The movers were very good. They were personal, worked efficiently, and made sure I was satisfied with their work. The price was competitive and came in below the quote. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.

I would like to emphasize this is the only bad experience I have ever had with a company listed on Angie's list with good reviews overall. I do not agree with the majority of the other reviews. For one they damaged the wood floor which cost me $400 to repair. Secondly, they put a good size rip in the master bedroom drywall - not that big of a deal because they moved a lot of furniture into that room. I am having a painter/drywall repair company that is highly reputable on this site, and I highly recommend fix it for me. I cannot put a price tag on that one because it is included in some other work. Three I paid extra to have a treadmill moved from my previous home. Then at my new home the lead tells me he does not have the time to assemble it. So now I have to pay to have my $3500 treadmill hauled as junk and replace it. Absolutely ridiculous. The amount of money I spent on this moving company is a joke. The employees were very nice and courteous. The lead person not so much. I had the decency to tip 20% because I am a generous person and wanted the employees to be treated well. If you want me to provide pictures, receipt, or anything else just ask and I will send it over.

The employees of Adams as well as the front office were all very responsive and professional. I had a minor water leak, as a result the hardwood floor had to be repaired. This consisted of moving the furniture, storage and then moving the furniture back in. There was no issues with damage and everything came back in great shape.

Best moving experience I ever had. Quite frankly, I can’t think of anything that wasn’t outstanding in terms of overall service. I’ve already recommended Adam’s Moving & Hauling to two individuals who are looking for a reputable moving company.

Very rude upon arrival based on where they needed to park the truck. It was street parking (they were told this when I called to schedule the appointment) and apparently parking 20 feet away from the door meant they couldn't move anything. It was figured out on my part, but I expect that if you're a moving company you're used to doing manual labor? In the end they were somewhat nice but first impressions are everything when you're paying a good amount of money for a service and my first impression wasn't very good.

Wonderful experience. Moving is something I hate so much, I swore I'd never relocate again (until life circumstance altered that decision for me). These folks made it as easy as a cross country move can possibly be. The local team and their long-distance hauling partners were terrific. I struggle to convey how much their care, professionalism, and general good nature stood out to me. Communication was proactive and thorough, they kept to the estimate, they were fast but cautious with our possessions (which included a lot of antiques), and we also had them pack the very fragile stuff (stemware and such) from the kitchen and dining rooms. Not only did they serve us well, they treated each other well. While that may not seem relevant, you learn a lot being around a team of 6 people doing really hard work. How they think of themselves and one another, it seems to me, says something about how they view their clients and their clients' belongings. It's also worth mentioning that not a single item was damaged. While that is a nice convergence of the mover's skill and luck, the former probably plays the greatest part in the outcome. In looking at the cost, note that this involved packing 2 rooms plus some add'l items we never got to, materials to pack those items, team of 6 loading in PA, team of 2 unloading in TX at two locations (new apartment and storage unit), and obviously hauling the contents roughly 1,600 miles. I would recommend these folks to anyone and I would definitely use them again.

Excellent! Top notch customer service booking and confirming. The day of the move the guys were on time and moved me in two hours for to door. No issues at all. I will use them again and I would recommend to anyone.

Overall a pleasant experience. The interaction with the scheduling and pricing person was very good and professional. They were proactive, managed my expectations as to what will occur when and what all I needed to do and what all will they do. Also, as compared to some other providers that I contacted through Angie's list, their quote was the most competitive. The movers showed up on time. They reviewed and loaded the stuff. I think they could have taken some extra care in loading the items but otherwise they were efficient. One of the loaders was more talkative than others and sort of took the "leadership" position among them. His expectations on receiving tips were misaligned to my own which I had to quickly set him in place with. Delivery was a similar experience. They showed up on time as promised, even though it was out of state delivery. The unloaded and kept the items where we asked them to. A few items received scratches (TV and some furniture. See my earlier comment about care in loading) which we did not notice until later. Our TV and furniture is getting old so we did not care as much. Other customers should insist on proper padding if the loaders don't do that. Once again, had to deal with the leader's tip expectations. All in all, I will not hesitate to use them again, should there be a need. Hope this helps.

Highly recommend. Guys came out in the pouring rain and worked non stop. They were fun and professional and took care of all the furniture. They finished about 2 hours earlier than the estimate.

Relocation specialist in the office, Kevin, was easy to work with. We got everything scheduled in short order for what is a very busy time of the year for movers. The three person team on the job were excellent. On time; courteous; professional; efficient; neat. Thanks for a job well done. Excellent to work with. Highly recommend Adam’s Moving and Storage. PS: I had contacted Adam’s because of their excellent rating on Angie’s List. It sure proved to be correct.

Office was very responsive and helpful. Quote given was itemized (number of men with hourly rate, total estimated labor charge, truck fee, gas surcharge), and wound up being spot-on, with no hidden fees. Moving crew was great: on-time, friendly, efficient, and professional. I would definitely hire again and recommend!

Short version: Yes, use this company. Long version: I needed to move items from one location to another and I needed to get it done quickly and efficiently without spending a fortune. This was something that I really thought was going to be a tremendous obstacle. Fortunately, it was done in the blink of an eye. I called Adams and Kevin set the date for Friday (this was within one week of my call). The men who did the work were Johuan, Odell and Mike. They showed up on time, they were all polite, professional, they worked with care and addressed all of my concerns. They were careful with my stuff; I've hired movers in the past and it never went well so I was hesitant to say the least. My concerns were unnecessary. Not only did they do a perfect job, they were extremely efficient and they finished in less time than the estimate. The price was very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this company and especially this crew to any of my family and friends. If I need a moving company again in the future I will use this company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great experience with Adams moving, also very reasonably priced. We had an unexpected amount of snow the morning we moved, so I was a bit concerned about the move. The crew of 3 showed up in the morning and did a great job loading all of my families stuff even with the bad weather. The guys had a great attitude and were very helpful. They also moved my very heavy big green egg XL! The only issue we ran into was the truck battery died at our storage location, but we were able to get it jumped. Management appropriately addressed the issue after the move. There were only a few minor drywall scuff from the move which given how much stuff we had was very impressive. Don't wast your time searching for other movers Adams is the way to go!

The guys were on time, very nice and professional and worked quickly! They talked to me upfront to ensure they knew what I wanted moved. Once they reviewed the number of items they provided a rough estimate of how long they thought the job would take. The estimate was pretty spot on! As they loaded and unloaded each item the took care with it. When they were done unloading they allowed us to check the truck to ensure nothing was forgotten. I loved the work these guys did. I would call them anytime.
