The guys did a fantastic job. A whole team showed up to load the moving truck. They were extremely careful and courteous. We followed the moving truck with two members of the team to Maryland. They couldn't have been nicer or worked harder. Everything was seemless and effortless. They wouldn't let us lift a finger, even though we tried! Great job. Would definitely use them again!

Everything went well. They even made a special trip to pick up some things that were left behind. The only strange issue which may have been a coincidence was that our credit card number was used on line later in the day. The card was not missing when I received an e mail from my credit card company. They could not call because our phone was not hooked up yet.

The movers themselves were really really great. They were professional, quick and happy to help. However, I had some big issues with scheduling. I had the move time scheduled for 1 pm-3pm. I was called at 11:00 am and the person asked if I was ready for my move; of course I said "no" because it was 2 hours before the time slot. I received a second phone call half an hour later and was told that the move could no longer be done because of timing issues. I absolutely lost it; I purposely scheduled this move for 1-3 pm because of some other timing issues with a van and purposely scheduled this company because of it's good reviews. Eventually, the guy did call the moving guys back and sent them straight to the home (and of course we weren't particularly ready). Completely unacceptable to not follow through on the agreed-upon timing and also give the customer a hard time about it. I was told that I would just have to wait until Monday to call Kevin and ask why he scheduled me for 1 pm. Seriously? What happened there?

The team that came was nice, not rude. Generally clean. In hindsight, I see the difference between the slightly more expensive movers I previous used, the movers who moved me in, and the less expensive Adams. I should have paid the extra for the more professional and careful team from Anchor in NJ. On this move, several pieces of expensive furniture were damaged from a lack of protection and care (the insurance barely pays for one repair let alone all). We have three platform beds that were all removed from the building without any protection and by one person (saw this myself). Several furniture items left unprotected. Keep in mind leaving the building there is a stone wall and iron railing that make for an extremely tight turn. One corner of a platform bed went from a nice 90-degree polished corner to a rounded and exposed edge because of this. When my previous movers showed up, the supervisor saw this corner and told his crew it was a two-man corner for anything on wheels and to double checking the protection. Anyhow, my dresser received several deep gouges from poor protection and packing as well (see attached photo which is hard to tell the depth of the gouges). We had some items dented/crushed as well. As they got ready to close the truck they were about two inches too long. So, they pushed with all their might, I was standing there, to compress the load and shut the door. Keep in mind there was up to two feet of unused space at the top across most of the length of the truck. I remember my previous mover had a person in the truck the whole time packing and was meticulous on filling up the space. I commented on his work and he mentioned he never wanted to get to the end and find he needed a few inches because its risks damage to compress. For reference, my previous mover had a crew of 4 and Adam’s showed up with three the first day and two the second. They laid several items like sugar, salt, and flour containers upside down or on their side. The problem was anyone looking or holding those containers new the lids would leak or come off. The packing as poor and I spend a lot of frustrating and unnecessary time cleaning this from other items in the boxes plus my floors. After unpacking most of the stuff, still have many boxes to go, we found lots of examples of the details lacking that result in many bent items, spills, or scratches. I am not sure under what circumstances I would recommend using them. Maybe if they were the cheapest and money was a major issue and you are willing to hover over them and constantly nag for two days.

It went very well. The moving men were friendly, courteous and very accommodating. They arrived on time, and made sure that everything in boxes was secured firmly with extra tape. All of my furniture, glassware, and a lifetime of my personal possessions were handled with great care. The only item that was damaged was my 46 inch color TV. I do not believe that it was caused by any negligence on the part of the movers, but rather on the quality of electronics these days. The moving consultant at Adams did recommend that I purchase additional moving insurance, which I intended to do, but, in the hustle and bustle of the move, I just forgot to purchase it. If you decide to use this company to move your possessions, I strongly recommend that you ask to speak with 'Kevin', who is one of their consultants. I found Kevin to be friendly, and professional in his dealings with me. He offered a some very good advice on the various aspects involved with moving. Since this is something that most of us do only a couple of times in our lifetimes, his superior knowledge proved to be quite helpful. I would most definitely recommend this 'high quality' moving company.

The movers were very quick and efficient. I had everything packed when they got there so the whole move took about 2hrs. Charles was an awesome foreman and his crew did a great job. The price was very reasonable for my size move. I would definitely use Adam's again and highly recommend them to anyone moving.

Everything went really great! The crew arrived on time, had a good sense of humor, and were very friendly, yet extremely professional. The crew was organized and worked diligently the entire time. I was very impressed with their work ethic. They arrived at my new location in a timely fashion as well. The company itself was very easy to deal with and it was easy for me to schedule the service and work with the company when I realized I had more things to move than I originally thought. All in all, Adam's moving made an otherwise stressful process simple and relieving.

Terrific experience. Really professional team, friendly and prompt. Best moving experience I've ever had. One and a half months later I still haven't found so much as a dinged box. Creative, flexible, and actually came in under what they quoted (well, they would have, anyway -- the reason they ended up not was our fault, not theirs). I hate packing and hope to never move again again, but if I do I'm absolutely hiring Adam's.

I have been very pleased with them. They are professional, courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. Moving can be stressful, so it's especially great to deal with movers who make everything go smoothly. I highly recommend them!!

They will not even go to your home to do an on-site estimate

I didn't do any comparison shopping, but I'd give them an A for price. It was professional and careful. One concern is that some of the things were missing. Not necessarily things that were worth a lot of money, but just a couple of boxes of items were missing. They compensated me for them. There were three workers initially at one house, and two workers when the items were brought into my new house.

Andrew, Justin & Pedro arrived on time and made quick work of the move. They were funny, worked well together, and took excellent care of everything. The move took less than the 3 hours time quoted. We appreciated the Angie's List 5% member discount. Kudos to Adam's for having such great employees in Andrew, Justin & Pedro.

The guys were excellent. Real professionals. They were diligent, efficient, personable, careful and very polite. They didn't make us feel bad for not being completely packed when they arrived. They also helped us get our lose items packed. They did it all in under 8 hours and we had two additional stops for them to make - a storage unit and another house.

I can not thank Adam's Moving enough for helping us move this past weekend. The weather was terrible (freezing rain and snow), and probably not the safest weather or pleasant weather for a move. We waited for a few hours for it warm up and they came, with an extra crew member. This was a huge help and they got done faster than expected. The team was incredibly friendly and efficient. Nothing broke during the move. So happy we hired them!

Did lots of research for our recent move. We needed two trucks and an overnight storage. Adams had a very competitive price and stuck to it! The guys worked really hard and were very professional. They made the move so much easier!!

Thanks to the professionalism and teamwork of Charles, Justin and Justin the move was an excellent experience. They were careful and efficient during the moving and packing of all furniture. I particularly appreciated their patience and attention to details during the unpacking process. I have already recommended Adam's Moving and Hauling to family and friends.

Contracted for 4.5hours. Movers loaded and took a 45 min lunch break (which they charged us for). Unloaded. Damaged a wall. At the 3 hour mark they said they were done and refused to go back for the rest of the items. They said they had another job lined up afterwards. Called the office and was refunded $ for the lunch break and wall damage. Wouldn't use again.

I have done many moves over the last 25 years and I have to say this was the smoothest move I've experienced. From setting it up, to the reasonable rate quote, to the men who did the move - all were excellent. The movers were prompt, fast, efficient and careful with all of my materials including some 100+ year old antique pieces. And on top of everything they got it done hours faster than my quote. I was organized but when they started, they flew. Very impressed and highly recommend this mover.
