Description of Work: Harvey Ramer arrived promptly on the day following my call to him. Over the course of five hours, he repaired the break in the line of our water supply, which is located at a spring 1/4 mile from our farmhouse. This involved four round trips to the water source, walking over rugged terrain. I could not praise his work highly enough. Mr. Ramer deserves an A+++!

Description of Work: We called Mr. Ramer after our four year old furnace just shut off, we tried everything we could think of to restart it but the pilot light was out. Mr. Ramer came when he said he would, same day and fixed it no problem. He calls you back right away, he comes when he says he will, he is kind and knowledgeable and his rates are extremely fair. Thanks for getting us our heat again, it has worked great ever since. He will be our HVAC technician from now on.

Description of Work: I tried putting in a controlled thermostat, but had the wrong one so I had to have a contact replaced on my air conditioner. Serviceman replaced contact same day and rewired my thermostat. Great, prompt, excellent service. Will call them again if I have any HVAC problems, or anything else. |

 + 0 moreWe had another company service our central air only to be told our coil was leaking and it would cost us $1200 to be fixed. We were very disappointed with the tech. that came to our home. (we used that company before, just different tech., with no problem). We, by chance, came across Harvey Ramer. We explained our problem and ask if he would give us a second opinion. He was very willing to do so. He is very courteous, on time, knowledgeable, fair in price, and honest. He came and did a test to check the leak only find that it was not where we told by the other company. He explained what it will take to fix it, how long it would take and the cost. He also sealed around our box to make it more efficient, with our permission. We will be keeping him as our service company!

 + 1 moreWent very well. The equipment arrived on schedule as did the service provider. The installation was completed on time and without any problems, and was very professionally done. System is working very well, and operates as advertised. Both the indoor and outdoor units operate very quietly and blend well with surrounding decor. This system has a cooling capacity of 12000 btu and carries a seer 18 rating. We are very pleased with the quality of the system and the work performed.
Description of Work: Provided and installed Daikin ductless heat pump system in our sunroom. System provides both air conditioning and heat for our sunroom.

He was on time, friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable trusting that he wasn't going to go with the most expensive way to get the issue resolved (which he didn't). Will definitely contact him to see if he's available when its time to replace the fixtures as well as any other projects in the future.
Description of Work: MY HERO! He came in and fixed a bath faucet issue that I thought would need replaced on the spot. It will still need replaced but the fix has given me time to shop for the appropriate fixtures. A couple other contractors were telling me upwards of $500 (not including the fixtures). I'm probably going to end up saving a good bit of money by being able to find fixtures that won't require having to remove/replace tile on the wall.

He worked quietly without loud music or talking. He screened as many areas as possible to keep dust to a minimum. All debris was cleaned up at the end of each day. He estimated the work and proceeded to begin work soon after. Everything was done to perfection and according our specifications. We were extremely pleased and satisfied with his professional and expert abilities. We have had several other projects completed by him, and we continued to be totally satisfied.
Description of Work: Various projects around a historic farmhouse involving restructuring and restoring of porches, garage and doors to the main house. Garage renovation, window and door replacements, and new patio construction were involved with the projects completed.
