They are very reasonable, very good and very dependable. Even though he is not always here and he has got other customers he will let you know. He is not one of these guys who won't return your calls and won't answer your calls. He will answer and he will tell you what he is doing and I have no problem with that. I mean most of the guys I called and never got an answer back.

I was looking for a local plumber, I have trust issues with "chain" home repair businesses. Dennis was referred to me by a coworker when our waste water began draining back into our basement (thank you Victorian-era clay piping). He came out promptly and finished the project in one day. He's also done the removal and installation of our kitchen sink. He is a one man company and can be tricky to get a hold of but, he is loyal and always does amazing work at a fair price.

As luck would have it, our furnace decided to stop blowing hot air on the day after Christmas (2008). Having relocated to the area only the year before, I didn't know who to call (at the time I was not an Angie's List member; thankfully I changed that). I looked through the phone book for companies that advertised emergency/holiday repairs. After calling three others, who were not able to come out that day, I tried Mahoney's. Tim was here within the hour and found a simple problem that he was quickly able to fix; a switch or fuse had failed. He didn't even charge me for the part; it was something he had in his truck supply. He only charged me his emergency service call. I honestly believe that another person/company could have made it out to be a bigger problem which would have cost a lot more money.

I had everything ready to replace my submersible well pump. I dug the hole, pulled the old one, purchased almost everything I needed, but I could not make the conversion I needed to make. I wanted to put an extension pipe from the well to the surface so I would never have to dig again. Problem, I couldn't get it done and knew if I tried I would really screw myself up. So I called in a professional. HE LEFT THE FIELD ON THE FIRST DAY OF DEER SEASON. He arrived in 30 minutes still in his camouflage and took over. He did want I would have never been able to do in a million years and charged me a very reasonable fee for 3 hours work when he did not have to. Thanks Tim.

They were prompt and wasted no time in removing and installing the new toilets. There was some problems with setting the new toilets because the flanges for holding the toilet base were somewhat degraded. However, Mr. Mahoney did a work around that resolved the problem. I was very happy with the work performed and am happy to recommend him.
