The Yard Keepers

After 3.5 hours of cleaning after these guys, I will NOT hire them again. They left all the bark from the stump and said that it will cost extra to clean it up. None of it was mentioned when the price was negotiated.

I contacted the company who did initially come out fairly promptly. He completed the original work which was clearing out a grassy area ,covering with weed deterrent cloth and then mulch. The mulch was thin and the cover showed withing days even prior to rain. The weeds came through within a week. He was to come out to do another job that was initiated in June and has yet to happen and it is the end of August .Generally on the day to have the work completed there was some reason he could not come out. If it was in any way raining, he does not come out. There is no communication. I had to constantly ask what is going on. I would not hire him again.

Fantastic job completed by The Yard Keeper. Beautiful quality trees replaced our old dying ones. Great attention to detail. Extremely satisfied. Highly recommend their service.

Since Yardkeepers was the lowest-cost provider of the several providers I called, I selected them to provide my firewood order. I called Joe several days in advance to have a cord delivered. He told me to call back the morning-of and he would bring it right out. Since I planned on stacking the wood myself and it rained heavily that day, I deferred the order to a later date. I called him on Tuesday for delivery the following day...he said he would load the truck in the morning and would call before delivering Wednesday morning. I waited until 10:30 for him to call and when he never did, I finally called him to verify that I was still on the delivery-list. I was told that he forgot all about it, that all of his trucks were out but that he would deliver that afternoon between 3 & 4 PM. He arrived around 4:30 and dumped the wood in the driveway where I asked him to. The quality of the wood looks good overall but a lot of the wood pieces are a bit larger than I like and will need additional splitting but I've had that issue with other firewood orders in the past from other vendors as well. In general, it took a little effort but I'm satisfied with the order so far.

excellent...call Yardkeepers!! Lawn had not been cut in two weeks, it was quite a job and after Joe was done you would never have known. Due to the length of the lawn, he cut numerous time and carted away the grass (reason for the extra cost). His weekly fee is in line with other contractors in the area. Shows up and delivers as promised!

I had to make arrangement because I was a nurse to be at home and there was no show. I never received a call. Nothing.

I HIRED HIM IN THE SPRING TO DO CLEANUP, REMOVE TREE, PUT NEW BUSHES IN. ALL OK WITH THAT. I PAID HIM APPROX. $2300. I CALLED HIM TO DO FALL CLEANUP. LEFT MESSAGES. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS. AFTER 2 MORE CALLS TO HIM, HE ANSWERED HIS PHONE. HE PROMISED TO CALL LATER THAT DAY WITH A QUOTE AND COME OUT NEXT DAY TO DO WORK. I TOLD HIM I WANTED FRONT CLEANED BEFORE WE PUT UP OUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. HE NEVER CALLED, NEVER SHOWED UP ALL WEEKEND. WE HAD SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT SO ALL LEAVES ARE NOW COVERED WITH SNOW. HAD HE COME WHEN HE SAID HE WAS, I WOULD NOT BE DEALING WITH THIS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. HE DOES NICE WORK BUT HE IS NOT DEPENDABLE. LAST SPRING I HAD MY SISTER CALL HIM FOR WORK AT HER HOME INCLUDING A NEW FENCE SHE WANTED TO PUT UP. HE WENT OUT TO HER HOUSE AND WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL BACK WITH A QUOTE BUT NEVER DID. SHE ENDED UP HAVING SOMEONE ELSE DO THE WORK. HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED AND TOLD HER IF HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE WORK. I WON'T CALL HIM AGAIN.

HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. TOLD ME WHAT HE WAS DOING. GAVE ME A LESSON IN AGRICULTURE.

I WILL BE HAVING HIM BACK IN MAY TO PLANT SOME ANNUALS FOR ME AND TO FERTILIZE THE BUSHES. FOR EVERYTHING HE DID, I FELT THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.

JOE AND HIS CREW ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
