But now its mid June 2014 and the pool is still not finished. We started making phone calls to set up completion of the pool as soon as the weather broke in April and were told that we'd be top priority. Still waiting...
It has been difficult to figure out how much coordinating between vendors (pool installer, concrete, electrician, pool supply) should be done by the customer and how much shoudl be on the part of Swimming Pool Now. The main contact at Swimming Pool Now left for a new job and so emails went unanswered for weeks until we started from scratch. By mid-May, I asked John at SPN for the phone numbers of the sub-contractors (electrician and concrete) and coordinated it myelf.
The electrician, though pleasant, damaged the siding of the house during installation of the outlets for the pool pump. Also, his work initially failed inspection. He did come back out and correct it.
The concrete was poured two weeks ago and SPN still hasn't come back out to clean it or give instruction as to the maintenence and use of the filter, pumps, vacuums, etc. We are working with our local pool supply store to attempt to clear up the pool in time for swimming some time this summer!
