It went just like I expected it to. There were no shortcuts and being hasty with the job. It looks almost perfect like no work was ever done. The price was just what we expected and more.... ahem..... 100% would use this company again. You get what you pay for AND more with this installer. There was one thing I was VERY UPSET about.. but it's too late now.... I was gonna ask him place a small rug in an area where I need it most but I forgot........ and that spot is on the top of my head but oh well maybe next time!

Initial contact with R&N Carpet ? set up an appointment. Rob arrived at the exact time of appointment. Made several suggestions on quality and color, (was not pushy), went over what was to be done (removing old carpet and placing it in location for trash pick.) Because of painting that had not been scheduled Rob told me to call when ready. He called me a week and half following our initial and set-up an appointment for installation of carpet I had to cancel the original installation day. Rob, gave me several alternate dates. Two days before installation received call confirming installation. Frank, Joey, and Kevin were professional, introduced themselves upon arrival and verified were the old carpet was to be left. Very pleased with service, installation and product.

It was a pleasure working with Rob. I had an unusual job. I needed a very large area rug shortened. No company would cut and bind the wool rug all in one place. The rug was too large to carry and transport to two separate locations. When I spoke with Rob, he troubleshot the issue and took it upon himself to contact the binding company. Rob had the work completed all in one day. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. I will purchase my next rug from or have carpet installed by R & N Carpet Service.

I chose R&N based on the Angie's List reviews and ratings and was not disappointed. Throughout my interactions with Rob he was always professional, courteous, and helpful. After my wife and I selected the carpet color and type, I woke up that night thinking we made a mistake. I called Rob the next day and he was extremely understanding, offering to come by that night and let us look at the samples again. We finally chose the carpet and scheduled installation. We were moving into a new house and had one week to get work done before actually moving our family in. Rob was able to get us in that week which was very helpful as we were scheduling several different contractors at the same time. The installation went very well. This was not a standard install - they were laying the carpet over ceramic tile in the majority of the basement (they had to use hot glue to lay the tack strips down). Rob's crew did an amazing job. You would never know there is tile under our carpet. The crew was punctual, friendly and worked hard. There was no trace of them when they left. Rob is very knowledgeable about the carpet business and was happy to explain and answer all my questions. The next time our home needs carpet work, I will definitely call R&N.

Everything went well from start to finish. We had to delay the project a couple of times and they were very understanding and flexible. Rob gave us valuable information to help us decide on the right carpet and the installers worked carefully, but quickly and cleaned everything up afterwards.

I chose the provider from Angie's list. I found the owner responsive, professional and business-like. We set up a mutually convenient date and time and the owner arrived with many carpet samples in various colors, styles, textures and costs. We chose our carpet and the owner had the carpet prepped, edged, cut and installed 11 days later. I am very pleased with the result and look. Would recomend this vendor without reservation.

Rob was incredibly helpful and flexible with our unique situation. Thanks to his help, we were able to carpet a room on the very day we moved from out-of-town. The carpet looks and feels great in our kids' room!

I had a flight of hardwood stairs and wanted them carpeted to prevent slipping and reduce noise. Rob from R & N Carpet arrived promptly to show us samples and measure the stairs. A week days later he returned with the carpet, cut to width with edges bound, as we did a runner instead of the full width of the steps. The carpet was installed quickly and looks perfect! R & N Carpet gives the attention to detail that you can only get from an owner operated business. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very happy with everything. Robert, the owner, came to my home to discuss and help me pick carpets. He quickly had samples sent for those he didn't have. The estimate was very reasonable especially since he had to move a few big and valuable pieces of furniture. He and his crew, who were all nice, came promptly and worked hard. It has been 4 months and everything looks great. I highly recommend this company.

Robert did great work. His carpet is good quality. And his Install was quick and well done. There was a bit of delay getting the product in-hand, but he was communicative throughout the whole process and assured me next steps even with the delays. No complaints. Would use him again. Not sure of price as we didn't shop elsewhere - just went with him on his word.

I have used R&N Carpet Service before. Ron is very knowledgeable abut everything to do with carpeting. I originally asked him to correct some bad installation issues with my upstairs carpeting and he did such a good job diagnosing and repairing the installation form another provider, that he would be the person I called for all my carpeting needs. I decided to rip up and install all the carpeting in my basement. I called Ron and he came over and showed ne quality carpeting at a decent price. His people (3) showed up on time and immediately got to work pulling up the old carpet and padding. They worked exceedingly hard and if they took a break, I never saw it.. Well before finishing to uninstall the carpet, Ron showed up with the new carpet and padding. They proceeded to carry out the old carpet and padding. It was bound in 4 foot lengths, just as I asked them to, since these were requirements of trash people for pickup. They then proceeded to install the new carpeting and padding in a flawless but efficient manner. The entire job, including cleanup, and furniture removal, restoration, took about 7 hours. They asked me to come down and look at the carpet and make sure the furniture was returned to its' original position. I was very impressed with their professionalism and work habits. Ron and hs crew will continue to meet all my carpeting needs in the future.

I had a small window of time between a moving company and furniture delivery (for which the movers were late twice, total of 28 hours delayed) to get my bedroom carpet stretched and repaired. Rob was the most flexible person I have ever dealt with. During my dozen calls for updates/changes, he never hesitated and said he would be there and he was. Not only was his work top notch, but he fixed mistakes from the original carpet installation (done by someone else) and he fixed the mistakes of another contactor that we had do a repair (albeit poorly). For the first time in 4 years, our bedroom carpet looks great. I highly recommend him. For the large room and all the heavy furniture, the quality was high and the price was great.

Rob was very thorough in his initial phone call when we had first inquired about pour service. In fact, he had recommended that we send him some photos of our carpet and our rooms where we needed the carpet stretched. Rob was able to do an assessment of what needed to be done after viewing the photos, and provided us with a quote. He was extremely responsive and courteous in all of our phone and e-mail communication throughout the process. When Rob and his team arrived on the day that the work was scheduled, they were punctual and very professional. Not only did they do what they had told us that they would do, but Rob also explained the process of stretching carpet while they were doing the work. This included how he pointed out how and why they were going to treat some rooms differently from some others based on what they saw, because the solution needed to address the root cause of what was causing the problem in each room and space. Once they completed the work, which was done in a very efficient amount of time based on how many rooms were involved, we were even more pleased to learn that the final charge for the work actually came in a little bit less than what we had been quoted. We would highly recommend Rob for any type of carpeting job, because the stretching work that he and his team performed was very professional, efficient, and effective.

First off, these guys were fast. Very fast. They showed up by 10 and were gone by about 5:30 PM. Also, we spent some time on the phone in a fruitless conversation with my waste hauler about the actual cost to remove the old carpet and padding, and the lead installer eventually told us he'd take care of it for a reasonable price. Nicely done. As you can imagine, carpet installs are mighty disruptive! We spent quite a bit of time removing furniture and small items from different rooms to speed up the carpet installation process. We emptied two rooms out for that reason, but when the crew got here, they told us they wanted to start in a different room (our master bedroom), so we had a bit of a last-minute rush to empty out the remaining items and remove some installed shelves and drawers in our closet. We wish I had known ahead of time that they'd be starting in that room. Not a big deal, but it would have made the day a bit less hectic. Also, we told the crew they could use our Kenmore vacuum to pick up loose carpet fibers and other small debris. Somehow, during that process, a couple of pieces of the vacuum disappeared (HEPA filter, cover) which we subsequently had to replace from Sears. Rob from R&N was very gracious in offering to pay to replace the parts and sending us a check to cover them. The furniture was moved carefully. We found only slight damage to a rear leg on a night stand, which we can probably fix with some furniture glue. Certainly to be expected when so much furniture has to be moved in such a confined space. Note that the price was rated "Good" based on our limited ability to price-shop and compare costs for carpet. Also, it would have been nice if the crew could have showed up a bit earlier, but again, they were gone before dinnertime. Aside from that, a solid job overall.

These guys were professional and did a stand up job. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They accidentally nicked a door while installing the carpet and went about replacing the door no questions asked. The fact that they handled this so well and professionally, I was very impressed. Absolutely will recommend them again.

Overall it went well. Rob is a no nonsense guy and that is what I liked about him. I scheduled for estimation at 11 PM and he was there next morning. Measured it , showed samples and provided an estimate. All went smooth.... The carpet is still holding at its place therefore no complaints so far.
