I called Robert and he gave me a price which included everything. He brought samples and measured and the price was as he quoted. We were amazed at the quick service from the first phone call to ordering to installation. The were very professional, prompt, cleaned up everything and put back the furniture. They were very careful with our belongings. And there were no extra charges after he got here. I see why he gets straight A's reviews he deserves them.

It is always a pleasure working with Rob. He has done work at my previous house as well as my current house and just installed carpet on my stairs. He is prompt, professional and his attention to detail is what I appreciate most. Rob is honest and upfront about everything and communicates well. If he says he will do something it will be done. Avoid the big box stores and get personal attention from R&N. If you do call the big box store keep Rob's contact info handy because you are going to have to call him to repair/re-stretch what they didn't install properly.

Went as smoothly as anything could go. I would not hesitate to hire R&N Carpet Service again. This guy truly understands what goes into a good carpet install and how to correct bad carpet installs. In this day and age of faster, cheaper, not better, carpet installers do not get any formal training or understand how to install a carpet correctly (or don't care). Not R&N. He is old school in his techniques, something that is getting more and more scarce. So if you need carpet repairs or service, grab this guy before he decides to retire. When he retires, so much good technique will retire with him.

We were very happy with this experience. Robert was extremely prompt, from the estimate to the installation date. Robert was also very helpful in helping us to pick out a carpet with the quality and color that we needed. We had a number of furniture items that needed to be moved and Robert and his assistant did an excellent job of returning everything back in place. We would highly recommend R&N Carpet for any future projects.

First Rob came to the house to show us samples, took measurements and have my wife and I an estimate on the spot. The estimate was reasonable and we gave the ok to do the work. Rob called me the following day and gave me days available. After we picked a date, Rob called me the day before with a time window that his crew would be out. When the crew arrived, they were very polite, introduced themselves then before they brought anything in, they laid padding down on my wood floor. They they brought in tools, and carpeting. They then ask for permission to play music, which I found very professional. As they got started, each of the men had a specific job and went to it. The total job took about 3hrs and they cleaned up everything and put the trash outside at my trash cans. The work was top notch and the they made sure we were satisfied before leaving, they also said if any issues arise to call and they will promptly correct them. I will recommend Rob and his crew to anyone that needs any carpet work. Excellent all around, my wife and I are very Happy. Outstanding work.

It went perfect,It was an excellent experience. Arrived when he said he would. Looked at the area, explained what caused the problem. We discussed whether it would be covered by the original installer. Then he went to work. He moved the furniture. Stretched the carpet, cleaned up the area and replaced the furniture. I sprayed the carpet with resolve and it looks like new.

Being first time homeowners, my wife and I have never hired a company to install carpets before. We researched a few carpet vendors and talked to family and friends in order to help build a budget. Immediately we ruled out any companies that offered "free" installation, since nothing is free and the customer reviews we read on those companies echoed that sentiment entirely. Instead, we selected R&N Carpet due to their flawless reviews here on Angie's list. After sending an e-mail inquiry through their website, Rob gave me a phone call in a little under a few hours and we setup a live appointment. While I was a little wary that Rob asked what our budget was for the carpet, it turns out that was the only way he could figure out what carpet samples to bring to our house (since again, we know nothing about carpet). We told Rob our budget was $4,000 and gave him a list of rooms. After measuring, Rob actually provided us with a number of recommendations that would allow us to stay within our budget, while carpeting even more rooms than we originally anticipated. The installers came two weeks later and were extremely professional. They did an amazing job, provided us with the leftover carpet in "rug/mat" style sections, and cutup the prior carpet into small enough pieces that our trash company would haul them away over the period of a few weeks (we elected this option over R&N hauling them away for us, as Rob suggested it was an easy way to save $150 - $200. He was right). We love our new carpet, padding, and how it has improved the look of our house. A huge thanks to R&N for helping us to carpet even more rooms than we anticipated, with an extremely nice grade of carpeting. Would definitely recommend.

It went well. However, I would note for people who would want to know that R&N subcontracted out. Jim Finch Carpeting performed the work. I would suggest to Robert, the owner of R&N, to tell the customer when a sub will perform the work so the customer isn't surprised to see a van arrive with a different name on it. I first had a thought that maybe this wasn't legit (a safety issue) since the name on the van didn't match, but then the workers confirmed that they were here to perform work in my house, and they wore clothing to indicate that they worked for the company name that was on the van. Jim and Angel, the installers, were very nice, very professional, and very careful. They took their time to make sure the job was done correctly, they swept up dust, and vacuumed along the way. They tore out the carpet and padding, wrapped it and taped it up, and placed it next to the house in a place that I designated. I highly recommend R&N and Jim Finch and would gladly use them again. Robert, the owner, took his time to explain the various types of carpet and padding and made sure that we chose something that we would want, not something that we had to settle for. We really appreciate the time that Robert spent explaining things so that we could feel confident in our decision. Thanks to everyone for doing a superior job!

Had a fantastic experience working with Rob and R&N Carpet services. We just went through the process of finishing our basement and decided to put carpet in the area for the kids that will play down there. I found R&N on Angie's list and reached out to set-up a consultation. Rob came out to our house and talked us through a bunch of different options and prices. We had several carpet styles we were interested in and Rob ordered us larger samples on the spot so we could compare before making a choice. We were in a tight window for getting the carpet installed and Rob knew this. He followed up on the sample shipment the next day and when he found out they hadn't been shipped by the supplier, he ordered another set and had them shipped 2-day air to us. This went and above and beyond anything we expected. Rob ended up coming back out to the house again to show us a few more samples before we made our final decision. Carpet installers finished the job in a single day and the final product looks fantastic . Installers were professional and did a nice job. Overall we had a great experience with R&N. Communication, product and professionalism were all top notch. We would recommend them to any friends and will use them again when we replace our upstairs carpet.

I reached out to Rob after reading some of his reviews on Angie's List. Rob came to our house and sat with us, explained all of our options for new carpet and answered all of our questions. He was professional, courteous, prompt, and extremely responsive. The carpet came out great and they were extremely careful during installation (we had just refinished our hardwood and painted all the walls). It is clear Rob takes pride in his business and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him.
