The plumbers came same day, assessed the issued and gave recommendations. The guys were punctual, polite, and friendly. They were very efficient while still being very thorough. They adjusted levels in all toilets in our home since they were set too high. They also replaced a broken expansion tank on the water heater. Both issues could have been contributing to the problem. The hammering has been completely resolved. This is the second time we've used Lucas and have been extremely pleased both times. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Arrived on time and job was done professionally. The only glitch was that they only sent one workman and it was difficult for him to manage the water heater down the steps. He had to call for help to remove it. It really was a two man job.

Joe called and came 10 min early. He was friendly, knowledgeable and kept his work space very clean. Everything worked properly.

I used Lucas Ltd on two separate occasions for plumbing problems, the kitchen sink was leaking and the toilet was having flushing problems. I called Lucas and they came out right away. George was the plumber; he was on time, pleasant, professional and did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about pluming issues, he showed me where to turn off the water in the basement, and told me to buy delta faucets for kitchen sink (which have lifetime warranty) and he fixed the toilet. He came back later to install the faucets. I am going to use George/Lucas Ltd again to install a bathroom vanity and sink. I will recommend them to others as they did an excellent job and their prices were reasonable. I rate them A +.

Joe Lucas arrived at 7:30 (as promised) on Friday the 3rd during the big snow storm. I didn't even expect him to come out since my dead end street hadn't been plowed. He inspected the drain in the bathroom sink and couldn't do anything from that end since the clog was really far down. He then had to go under my house (I have a crawl space) to see if there was something he could do, but that didn't pan out either. He needed to see where the vent pipe was coming out on the roof because he figured he could clear the clog that way. Unfortunately, the roof had 9 inches of snow on it, so he would have to come back when the weather cleared. I called the office in a few days to make an appointment. Once again he was on time, climbed onto the roof and cleared the clog.During the snow storm, Joe put shoe covers over his snowy boots every time he entered my house. After the initial sink inspection, he used a shop vac to clean up. He was what every home repair person should be: punctual, personable, professional, knowledgeable, clean and quick. He did the most cost effective fix since I had been told by another contractor that a length of pipe should be replaced instead of cleaned since it was old. Joe said it was fine. I would definitely use Lucas Ltd. Plumbing again and would recommend them to others.

I always call Lucas for my plumbing and I usually request George as he is the greatest. I needed this work done before my surgery so it was a hurried request. Lucas Ltd was, as usual, very accommodating. George arrived promptly. He does very professional work and is extremely tidy. He did a wonderful job.

The work was completed in one day (they only could not secure the carpet because the cement had to dry). I came home from work expecting my house to be a mess from jackhammering the cement floor in my family room to get to the pipe. It was clean and in the order I left it. I was extremely happy with the work performed. Holland Flooring called me about 3 days later to make an appointment to come take care of the carpet Lucas had to move in order to get to the pipe. The price was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. Other companies told me $7,200 and 3 days. Lucas was about $4,900 and one day. Problem is solved. Would definitely recommend Lucas and will use them again for any plumbing needs.

First of all I would like to say that we have been using Lucas for all of our plumbing needs for 20 years. I think it's high time we give them the outstanding review that they deserve. For 20 years Lucas has provided very high quality service at a fair price, CONSISTENTLY for 20 years. They respond quickly with knowledgable plumbers who troubleshoot and fix all plumbing needs, even on New Years Day !!! If they are running a little late, the office calls to tell you that. We recently have remodeled our kitchen and Lucas plumbers Jorge and Eric have made several trips to our home during that process. Both of them are skilled, friendly, very respectful of our home and did a terrific job. I would never consider using any other plumbers. Customer service truly is #1 with Lucas.

They performed two jobs for us. The first was a simple fix of a bathtub faucet that had become clogged with solder from the water line and which would not turn off. A replacement cartridge was installed and that job was $150.31. The second was installation of an acid neutralization system for our water. They were very cooperative with our request for acid neutralization without water softening. An estimator came out to look at our system and to take a water sample. Unfortunately, he forgot to mention to his office that we had no drain in the area where the system was to be installed, so an inappropriate system that back-flushed was ordered and brought out to be installed. When it was discovered that the system ordered for us would not work, the plumbers who came to the house were very polite and appropriate, but were understandably dismayed at the error on their company's part. It then took a few calls from me to get information about an alternate system that could work with our situation and rescheduling set up. They came back out and installed the needed system and all went well. We could not be happier with the result. The off taste and film in the water is gone (several who helped assess the problem thought it might be the copper that was dissolving into our water from our pipes). The schedule for servicing the new system was carefully explained to me. The only uncomfortable moment was that we had no quote on the replacement system that would work with our home before it was installed, despite my request for this. However, the owner of the company assured me it would be the same or less, and when I checked with the office about this, that was true; it was about $20 less than the original quote. The office staff was very responsive to my requests and saw that I was called back promptly if they could not answer my questions. We will use this company again.

Toilet overflowed after regular hours and I called Lucas, ltd. who was referred by a neighbor. George returned my call within 10 minutes and asked all sorts of questions to determine what might have caused this. He was extremely professional and actually seemed to care. He even asked if I had other working toilets in the house. Bottom line, he would have come out right away but since it was after hours, the charge would have been 40.00 more so I waited until the morning. He came out first thing in morning and fixed the toilet and there is no doubt that I will use this company and George again. It's rare these days to find employees who really care about their job and the customer. George accomplished both. I highly recommend them.

I have no complaints. The people were very friendly and gave me a choice of service windows. The technician was on time and prepared to do the work while he was on site. The hourly price seemed high but the guy didn't mess around - he got straight to work and finished quickly. I had a different contractor come out previously and quote me $100 more for the disposal install for a disposal with less horsepower. The other contractor also tried to talk me into jackhammering my slab to replace the flange. The guy from Lucas fixed the issue quickly and effectively - no jackhammer. I would definitely use again.

Went well. Plubmber was on time and fixed all issues including on his own reporting and fixing nagging isues related to missing p-trap. Only complaint is that price for work was not quoted ahead of time and I was a bit shocked by the price.

The job was done well. I could not have been more pleased. They were prompt, courteous and professional. The job took longer than anticipated due to complexity of the job. But, Lucas plummber completed the job as promised and kept my bill close to the estimated cost. After finishing the job, they cleaned up the area neatly. They also replaced flapper in toilet, and unjammed garbage disposer. I would use them again.

They did a great job. They were very good. They were very courteous and professional. They gave reasonable prices.

Plumber was courteous and prompt; explained what needed to be done with each part of the job; worked hard and fast. Today is a few days after the job was completed and everything seems to be working well. Plumber provided a detailed and itemized bill of service which in my opinion is priceless. I would definitely use them again.

My experience with him went well. When I called them for service they were there the next day. They came on the prescribed time. They were on time. The gentleman who came was very knowledgeable, he knew what he was doing, was friendly and went right to work. The thing I liked about them was that they made sure that they were very clean. They wore their bootees on their shoes and they did not get anything on the rugs. He was here for two hours and the job went very well and I was completely satisfied. My only complaint is the price. The reason I say this is because for two hours of labor it is $240 which is basically $120 an hour. The material cost was $173.30. I thought the labor was a little bit high but I cannot complain about the service. Service was excellent. I just thought that for a nonunion shop they were a little expensive. I don’t know if I would use them in the future, I might be a little hesitant and I might get a couple of other bids. The price concerns a bit. Based on my experience in the mechanical construction industry their price is a little high.

The job went very well. With only two options: 1) Seal the overflow from inside the tub. 2) Cut a hole in the ceiling. The house came with no access to plumbing. I like to live dangerously, wheeeeeee...... so we cut a 12x12 hole in the ceiling. Then Steve replaced the overflow and the tub drain with brass pipe and fittings. Better than the builders PVC pipe. Great job. Price I though was very reasonable. Will definitely use Lucas Ltd again. As for the hole in the ceiling. I will tape and plaster the hole, or I may make it a fake air return leaving me access should I ever have a problem again. But I doubt that!!!!

Very well, the plumber arrived ahead of schedule. I found him to be very knowledgeable and skilled. He really straightend out the mess that we had under our kitchen sink. The plumber (George) was a real pro. I think that because he knew what he was doing and had a lot of experience, he saved me money on the job.

Our outside sewer line was clogged-again- and they came the next day. They could have come the day I called, but I couldn't be home from work that day. They came first thing, at 7:30am (slightly after). It was taken care of it about an hour and a half.

The installer came with different water heater than ordered. Did not have in stock what was agreed on phone for installation. Since everything was lined up, proceed with installation with what was in truck. Good installation but Paid a lot for extra during installation. Added expansion tank during installation. Very very expensive extras. May be it is normal.

They started when promised and more importantly the finished when promised. All precautions were taken to assure no contamination escaped the work area. A few snags occured but that was mostly my fault for not communicating my orders clearly. When snags did occur, Joe would say "We'll make it work" Seams they could handle any problem that came up. I would not hesitate to use them for my next project.
