The products they sell are high quaility and Made in America!! Delivery and installation went perfectly. I'm pleased to use a local small business rather than buying from a big box store.

They were prompt and very neat. The insert was properly installed. The chimney cap had to be modified to accommodate the vent capping for the fireplace. The controls and features were thoroughly explained and all questions were answered. This was a very smooth and professional installation. We are very pleased.

the folks at Scott's were incredibly helpful. My wife and I went to their store and were educated on the different product options ? pros and cons. Based on their help we were able to select the right product. They provided setup and installation is well and we organized the rough timing for this work. Later they contacted us to set the specific day and time. The installer showed up exactly on time, had all of the needed tools and the products we purchased to be able to install them. He did a great job in a relatively short amount of time. Even educated us on how to use the products and provided tips to help us get the most from them. We were very pleased with the final product and with the service we received. Professional and on time ? all you could ask for. we believe we will get great value from the product we purchased and will continue to work with his company to service our fireplace when needed. We highly recommend them as a source for these products and for the service they offer.

We had a bit of a scheduling jigsaw puzzle. We decided the only time that would work was at 7.30am. Scott arrived on time and had the job done within an hour! Total pro. My only complaint was we had to pay for the gas pipe by the foot. When he went down to our basement, he determined that it would not be possible to go through the floor of the fireplace because duct work was directly beneath it. He opted to drill through the outside wall and go directly into the gas line running into the house. That was great! His son stays in the showroom and is nice in person, but gets flustered if you call. He can't remember details and can be a little abrasive. I saw this in the showroom with another customer, and then experienced it myself in a follow up conversation 5 days following a walk through of the showroom and the only model that worked for our house. We talked about our families. Scott installed for an inlaw, and his son looked it up while I was there, he even showed me a picture of his baby! It took quite some time to jog his memory. I was in the showroom in June, it was not incredibly busy! Overall, great place, prices were reasonable. Try and deal with Scott- and make sure you get something in writing from his son!!

Every one from Scott's was very knowledgable, polite and responsive. The installation went very smooth and I am very pleased with the outcome. The installer walk me through the equipment, product care instructions and provided suggestions. The only negative I can say is that the approximate date of installation originally provided was two weeks earlier than the actual date that they were available to install. However, the knowledge, professionalism and expertise is well worth the wait.

The installation with Scott was fantastic. Our house gave him several problems to deal with to install the gas insert and he addressed each with patience and politeness. He was diligent and gave us a great product. Scott is very knowledgeable and very precise in his installation. It gave us comfort when working with the gas line in our home. We couldn't have been happier with his work or the insert he recommended. Thank you Scott!

The Valor gas fireplace is working perfectly now that Scott's made an adjustment.

We decided we wanted a gas burner at the wrong time of year: early Dec. Seemed like everyone wanted a unit installed before Xmas. We purchased the unit knowing we'd have a 5-week wait. On the morning of the scheduled installation, Scott called to inform me that his employee was unable to come in; therefore, Scott needed to be in the store; therefore, the installation would need to be rescheduled. Disappointment, but what are you going to do? However, later that morning, Scott called back to say he hates to postpone installations, and if it's OK with us, he'll come over at the end of the day to do the install. We were thrilled! He arrived around 4:30 pm and in less than 2 hours was out the door. All aspects of the install were completed in a very professional manner. The hook-up to our gas line was also done to our complete satisfaction. Scott's employee gave us some much-needed guidance on prepping the firebox and installing a heat-deflecting hood, which we also purchased from them. Quality products, professional installation, and pre- and post-installation guidance: it's everything you'd want. We are very happy with the burner, and will speak highly of this company.

They were great. They were friendly and helpful.

They are fine and do a good job. They do a nice job. It has been working fine ever since and no repairs or anything have had to be done. It is working great. Their prices are pretty good. The personality of the guy who put it in was a little cold and stiff. He was a nice guy, but stiff. Their responsiveness was excellent.

It was fine. The store does grills but the owner is a plumber. But I think the sore wants to be listed as plumber. He had the brand that I wanted for my grills. He delivered the thing that same day. It was a Saturday and came as he said. I will use him again if I need a fireplace and a new grill.

I had no issues with them. They did a good job overall. They were efficient and polite. They did really good measurements. I would definitely use them in the future.

Everything went well. They were pretty quick to do the job and pretty easy to work with on all the stuff that we needed. It is working pretty good so far. Their price was fair compared to everyone else.

It was an A+. Not only profoundly competent but he was straightforward in terms of what the costs would be, what issues would be and addressing all our concerns. Both have functioned perfectly for 2 years. I would recommend them to anyone.

The work was done very well. My overall experience with them has been very good. They work with you in times to get it done, because it was custom made. I have bought products from them already. They are a perfect company. The head guy actually came out and did the installation himself. He took care of all the issues onsite. I would rate them top of the line. The end product came out really good.

We purchased a gas fireplace insert from Scott's in the fall ($1200.00). They spent a great deal of time with us explaining all the products available and were a great help in determining which insert was the best for our home. We had to wait for masonry work to be done before having the insert installed. By the time we were able to schedule, Scott's was in the pre-Christmas rush season, and we had to wait until January. Scott himself did the installation. He arrived promptly, worked steadily, and explained everything we needed to know. The fireplace looks terrific, and we are glad we sought their advice when choosing the insert. This is a family business, and the attitude towards customers reflects this. Scott and his son, Tim, couldn't be more patient and helpful, and they clearly know their business. We intend to deal with them for all our fireplace accessories. They also have some terrific garden items in their store as well. A+

Scott arrived right when he said. He explained what he was doing and installed the gas log. He was clean and neat, efficient, friendly and helpful.

However, his mother in law bought him the same one so I returned it. They were very nice about it and did not give me any problems. I would certainly recommend them to everyone. Their products seem to be very high quality. The are a small shop and very accommodating.

Scott's Fireplace was really good with giving advice and explaining how to set it up. It is remote appropriated. They told me what to measure prior to the work. I called and gave the measurements and they gave recommendations of what size to purchase. It fits perfectly. I thought the price was fair for the quality of the product. I am very pleased wit the service. They did a great job. I also asked Scott's Fireplace about a certain brand that my heating company recommended. Scott's Fireplace explained they did not carry that brand because it was causing a lot of problems. I thought they were honest and straight forward. They offer a warranty and will come out for service. It's a small shop. You can go in and they will help you find what you need. They have a good reputation in this area.
