 + -1 moreProvided emergency tree removal, which was fine. They, however, did not complete the job on the first (and only) visit and have not yet returned to remove the stump. Since we paid them in full at first, they have no incentive to return, other than professional courtesy and reputation. They seem to not care about those. They made several promises to return over the last few months but have broken all of them. They no longer return our phone calls. I used to recommend them as a reasonably priced service that is appropriate for jobs that don't need to look "pretty." I can no longer recommend them for any job.

 + -1 moreVery unprofessional! Has not addressed our concerns, returned phone calls, kept appointments. Our tree looks terrible!
Description of Work: We have a large lovely maple tree that we wanted trimmed. We assumed he would keep it's lovely shape. He seemed to take huge branches off at random. A year later many of the branches still have no leaves. We have called numerous times, was promised he would come twice and he never has come.

 + -1 moreWe called for an estimate several times and it did take several appointments for him to come see the tree and give us an estimate. However, his estimate was well below the cost of other companies that we called and he was very upfront about the condition of the tree and what would be needed to take it down. We scheduled the removal and he did not show up. I called the company to find out why he did not show and they said it was because of weather. It didn't bother me that he didn't show because of weather but it did bother me that they didn't call to explain. When he did arrive to remove the tree, he did an excellant job. He had two people to help him remove the tree and completed it in one full day. He was able to safely remove a very large tree from a very small space. He even took several baby squirrels, that he found living in the tree, home with him to care for after their nest was destroyed from the tree removal. Overall, he did a great job and I would hire him again. It's just a hardship to get him to come for the estimate and to schedule the actual job.

 + -1 moreThey have not returned a call since they left. He only wrote down on the written estimate, the price for the tree to be trimmed, and gave me a verbal estimate to have the other tree taken down. They will not call me back so I do not believe they want to do the work.
Description of Work: They came out for estimate to have trees removed and for one tree to be pruned and fertilized.
