Their price was well below the only other provider I contacted and they were able to complete the remediation in less than a week from the date of my first contact. Mike was extremely responsive to all my questions and he coordinated very effectively with my contractor.

Description of Work: I recently purchased a home which had asbestos insulation on pipes in the basement. I needed to asbestos removed and the air in the basement cleaned and tested.

Got back to me quickly, sent his son and a staff member who were also very professional and polite, and kept me up to date on the status. Mike knows a lot about the subject and is very patient in explaining to us that have a lot of questions. Top Notch..highly recommend them. The other guy I called never called me back.

Description of Work: I can only say great things about Michael and his son. We were scheduled to have our oil tank removed from under our basement steps. When we removed the decorative panels hiding the oil tank, we discovered a stack of black tiles, and five tiles glued to the floor. I had the tile tested, and sure enough they were asbestos. By the time I received the results, the oil tank was scheduled to be removed the next day. I called Michael around 3:30 in the afternoon, and he was at my house within three hours to see what the project entailed. He arranged his schedule to come early the next morning and remove the tiles before the oil tank removers showed up. His customer service went above and beyond!

Description of Work: Had a very small amount of asbestos abated from the basement of my house.

Description of Work: I called Michael on Monday morning to see if he would come by to see if we had some asbestos in our basement that would need to be removed. He came by on Monday afternoon. While he was in our basement, I also asked if he would let me know if he thought we had any mold problems. After examining our basement for about 45 minutes, he called me down to discuss his findings. The material that we thought might be asbestos was not asbestos. He also said that he only found small amounts of mold that weren't really a cause for concern. If he were not honest, he could have told me otherwise, and I would not have known. He also took the time to show me that the insulation on our heating pipes in the basement was not done very well. The insulation tubes were too large leaving a gap between the pipes and the insulation. Also, there were gaps in the insulation where the pipes connected. Michael advised that at some point we might want to redo the insulation on the pipes to have greater heating efficiency.
