Everything was completed promptly and as proposed. Employees were very courteous, respectful of us and our property, and kept building materials and waste matter carefully away from the rest of the house. We are very satisfied with a job we consider as perfect. Mclusky's has been better than we could have ever hoped a contractor could or would be. Thanks!

During the installation of the tile I noticed the tile didn't looked even. I discussed this with the owner and he assured both my husband and I that we were seeing shadows and once the grout was in it would be fine. A few days later I texted the owner expressing my concerns and he again reassured me it would be fine. When the job was completed, the floor was terrible! He blamed it on bowed tiles and had a rep come to look at the flooring. The tile on the backsplash was also uneven. I contacted an attorney with pictures and he agreed that it was a terrible job. Shortly after we received a letter from his attorney stating that we had structural problems and were told about it and given options for different flooring but we insististed on this flooring. We have had 3 others contractors come into our home to see if they can fix the floor. None would touch it and said it would have to be ripped out. We have only lived in this house for approximately 2 years, so I contacted our realtor as we had a complete home inspection. They were surprised and gave us information on a structural engineer to have come to our home. By law we have to let them come back into our home and give them a chance to fix the problem. We were told they would only fix the obvious ones. I have had several people ask about my floor, as you can not walk in bare feet comfortably. The grout has fallen out in several places on the floor and backsplash. They did come in to repair the backsplash but left several tiles uneven, and told us that the wall, too, was uneven. Words can not express how disappointed I am! It has been a terrible experience!

McLusky Kitchen and Baths it was because of McLusky that I joined Angie's List. I should never ever have anybody do any work in house before looking on Angie's list. We had our kitchen completely gutted and they did it. And I was questioning the tile floor, they were laying the new tile floor that looks like wood and it is absolutely horrible. It's thousands of dollars down the drain. Thousands and thousands and they will not stand by their work. They put the backsplash in, again terrible work, it's horrible. I even got an attorney. It's horrible. I got an attorney, the attorney was floored that they wouldn't stand by their work. And we got a letter back from their attorney and they came back with a story that said that our floor wasn't even, that they told us our floor wasn't even and that were other options and we insisted for them to lay that tile. Now why would anybody pay thousands of dollars on a floor like that if the contractor told you? And I have text messages where I was texting him asking him, I mean it's not even. You could actually trip on it. And he told me I was seeing shadows and that everything would be fine. It's very bad. The cabinets are beautiful, they are not tilers, they should not be doing tile work. I know other people who have had kitchens done by them, they did a great job. They should not be doing flooring.

We began with designer Jessica who helped us through the selection process. We were tough clients and changed our mind often! It took a couple months to get the work finished after we finalized our decision. When the installation began, the installers Bob, Mark and Mike were so kind and helpful. They completed all work in a timely and professional fashion and we were so pleased with the final result.

We went to McLusky because of the positive experiences of friends. We knew, in general, what we wanted, but didn't have all the details worked out and didn't know if what we wanted was feasible. Jessica, the designer, was an absolute dream to work with. She came to the house to get measurements and take notes, then drew up an initial plan and estimate. She answered our questions, offered other options, and guided us through the process of choosing all the pieces. When everything was selected, she gave us the final estimate and anticipated start date. The actual work started about 2 weeks ahead of the date we were given, which was great. Steve, Bob, Mike, and Bill started each day by laying down drop cloths from the back door through the kitchen and the hall to the bathroom. They made every effort to minimize noise, dust, and mess as they went about their tasks. At the end of the day, they cleaned up the drop cloths and ran a shop vac over the area. They are craftsmen and professionals, but first and foremost, they are wonderful people: friendly, courteous, trustworthy, and never a voice raised in anger or frustration. A big plus for us - as our grandchildren (4 and 7) were here on several occasions during the remodel - was that there was never any bad language. We knew that the project would include inconvenience, but McLusky's staff were so accommodating and helpful, we were almost sorry when it was done.

It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. The customer service rep, Jessica, was great. The crew was great, on time, professional, clean, and answered all questions. I LOVE MY NEW BATHROOM!

McLusky's was very knowledgeable and reasonable. We visited their show room with measurements and pictures. We selected tile using the samples in the show room, seeing pictures from previous clients and also by borrowing sample tiles to try at home. They have a large flat screen that is connected to their picture files on the computer. It was a great way to view previous projects completed by McLusky's. Kris was very quick in getting us an estimate. When we decided to go ahead with our plan, we signed a contract and left a deposit. Kris visited our home and remeasured and evaluated the project and adjusted the estimate as needed. She knowledeably had us choose a more neutral grout color that blended with our tiles. The installers--Steve, Bill, and Bob-- were prompt, neat, and friendly. They were informative during the project and often asked if I was satisfied as the project developed. They were eager to make sure that I was satisfied with the placement of the accent tiles and the mural before securing them to the wall. Our range hood posed a bit of a challenge to tile around, but they were able to detach it enough to fit the tiles in seamlessly. I would highly recommend McLusky's and would used them again in the future.

I had good luck with them. They come and do the work on the scheduled appointment. If they tell you one week for the job, they do it. I would use them in the future.

Nothing ever happened, no estimate was ever received

Our new kitchen and baths are beautiful!!! Having McLusky remodel your home is like having the crew of "This Old House" do the work. All staff and craftspeople are knowledgable, approachable, and committed to quality work. There was always someone to answer any questions we had. All of the project went very well and the appearance and function of the finished kitchen and bath(s) exceeded our expectations. Additionally, all of the McLusky staff were respectful of our home. From day one they arrived every day and prepped the work area and cleaned up nicely before they left for the day. And - the work never stopped. We saw progress every day. We did not have some of the waiting and problems we heard from friends and relatives who undertook similar remodels with the two major Home Improvement stores. I really can't say enough good things about this experience. I highly recommend this contractor.

They were courteous and friendly. They are willing to work with you on changes and on foreseen problems. They are also highly skilled carpenters. They even extensively clean up before they leave every day. They were here everyday for 6 weeks when they were remodeling. The company was pleasant to work with, which is important if they are going to be in your house for that long a time.
