Two thumbs up! I highly recommend Harry Wynkoop and his company G&J Waterproofing. A true professional and a man of his word. He gave us a very reasonable estimate. His crew showed up on the date that he stated that they would start the work. No BS like other contractors out in the Pittsburgh area. As a law enforcement officer in Pittsburgh, PA I am very skeptical who I hire to do work at my home. I trust G&J Waterproofing to get the job done and correctly. They communicate with you during the job which is very rare for other contractors out there. The work done to my basement is waterproofing and they parge the basement walls. I invite anyone to look for themselves at the outstanding work done by this company. I dare you to find another waterproofing company other than G&J Waterproofing. By the way my basement is DRY!!!! I hired this company to do work on my basement. After I received a couple of other estimates, that seemed rather unfair, I was convinced I would have to tackle this issue on my own; until I called G&J. The response time was quick, the estimate was fair, and the work they did was nothing short of amazing. The staff was friendly and respected both myself and my property. Most incompetent contractor I've ever worked with. Work was never completed.

We were continuously having problems with our basement flooding. Our basement was always getting water, but G&J Waterproofing seemed to do the trick. We are very happy with the service they provided and ecstatic that we no longer have to worry every time there is heavy rain in the forecast since our basement has been bone dry. We also used them for mold removal and that is already going away. I would highly recommend these guys if you are in need of basement clean up, restoration, or mold removal.

This was our first real experience with a contractor and it went very well. We bought our home 2 years ago and have had water problems since we moved in. This summer it got really bad so we decided we needed to do something. We had 3 companies out but G&J not only had the best price but also they were not at all high pressure. They started the work on time and finished when they said. We were not happy that we had water or had to spend money however we are very happy with our choice. We will in fact refer them and give them a good word. We have had no water and our drywall looks great!!!!!
