ELEGANT FENCE

Our pool contractor uses Elegant Fence. They are an amazing pool company so we just went with who they used, even though we got a cheaper estimate from a different company. The experience has been awful. No one came out and met with us to go over the fence and gate locations. Our pool contractor helped us spray paint. They put up 400 feet of fence in about five hours. Posts were damaged and cracked, panels were dented, the gate would not open all the way and the gate was damaged. We contacted the pool company and they reached out to the fence company and we did not hear from them. After about two weeks, we reached out a second time. We gave them the list of things that needed to be fixed. The fence company came out replaced the damaged gate with another damaged gate, but left everything else damaged. Their fix for the gate not opening all the way was to raise the gate higher. Some places were 12 inches above the ground. This does not meet pool code. They should have met with with us in the very beginning or the day of installation to let us know the location for the gate was not good. Now we have to spend more money to regrade to fix their incompetence. They complained to the landscape company that was at our house that they had to come out 3 times (day of install, initial gate replacement, and then to fix their errors that they didn’t fix the second time). Now that they installed an undamaged gate, it is backwards from the other door. Our double gate doors now do not match. I would not recommend using this company.

Paul Stein and his crew were great. Paul was responsive to my calls and proactive in getting me the estimate and working with me. His crew arrived early, unloaded all the wood when delivered and got right to work. We had them install a 3-rail split rail fence with wiring to enclose our entire backyard and some of the side yard. The workers were courtesy, friendly and fast. They were finished by early afternoon and the fence is beautiful. Couldn't be happier. I would recommend you talk with Paul if you want a good price and a good product.

His estimate was way off compared to the end bill I received. Almost 20% difference. In addition his crew left my yard a mess. They did not clean up the holes they dug for the posts and left cigarette butts all over the yard. The fence came out great, but the clean up I had to do plus the end bill was a shock.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with this company. They were great in every way. We got exactly what we wanted in a very reasonable amount of time. We needed the fence for safety issues around a new in ground pool and they came within days after the pool was installed. A crew of six men came and installed a fence around our property and they were done in half a day. We never expected it to go that fast. We have no complaints at all and would definitely deal with them again.

Paul Stein, the owner of Elegant Fence, came to my house and provided an quote for installing the fence I wanted. Within 5 days his competent, experienced crew came here and had the entire project done in one day, even though this is rocky soil with some steep slopes and an existing walkway they needed to work around. This was *not* an easy installation, and yet they did a truly great job!

Another group came in lower priced with the same brand of fence so we went with them. The other group was more accommodating with the various changes in the design and gave a better deal on the whole thing.

I got the name from another contractor doing work at my house and he came out the next day. I got a price on the spot and two weeks later the fence was installed. It took one day for the fence and they came back and installed a new larger gate on the following Saturday. Great price and done very well.
