Description of Work: The original date for the consult at my house was the 1st week in Jan 2015. Because my paperwork got lost on his desk, it took a while before I finally got an email with his response. I received an email with a proposal on July 2nd. I was expecting a design rather than a proposal. Mr Wright did apologize for being late.

Description of Work: It was a simple design and estimate service for a kitchen remodel. We met with him, discussed our needs, and he went away for a number of weeks to do his design. When he returned, it was like he hadn't heard anything we had said. Relatively inexpensive service for the design at $85, but you get what you pay for.

+ -1 moreI don't know what he charges for an estimate that isn't through a Big Deal. The floor plan was very professional and I'm sure he does beautiful work, but the price was so high that the bathroom slid to the bottom of our priority list.

I appreciated his professionalism and that he listened and understood the overall picture, which was more than what the $299 for one day would cover. He gave me an estimate for the total amount. However, I received another estimate, from another Angie's list vendor, which was much less expensive for the same work.

+ -1 moreRob arrived and took measurements and talked with us for quite along time, getting our thoughts and ideas as to what we wanted out of the space and how we intended to use it. Rob took the information back to the shop and came back about two weeks later with a very good plan. We were pleased with the plan however the price was more then we wanted to pay. We told Rob we would let him know if we wanted to go any further. Rob thanked us for the opportunity and left the proposal and plans. We are still unsure what we plan to do at this point.

+ -1 moreAlthough he arrrived on time and was pleasant, he wasn't willing to listen to what I wanted to accomplish. My goal was to replace the fixtures in the existing bathroom and convert the dressing area of the adjoining master bedroom into a second bath. He told me that the new bathroom was impractical because running the plumbing would be expensive. I repeated that I wanted to know what could be done. Two weeks later after my calling to remind him, he sent me a plan of the existing bathroom and the dressing area with a vanity shelf added. He said he wasn't interested in bidding on the project because of the distance. He told me he would forward the plan to a designer who might be willing to work with me. I never hear from hear. I have a tape measure and graph paper. I could easily have created the plan he gave me myself. I was seeking ideas from a professional opinion on how to arrange the new bathrroom. What I got was not worth $75 much less $150
Description of Work: As I I understand the deal it was $75 for the design of remodeled bathroom. This was supposed to be a $150 value. He prepared a scaled plan of the existing bathroom as is.

+ -1 moreHe is excellent. He was a really nice guy and he really gave us a lot of good ideas. This was the first time I got an estimate like this and I thought he was impressive. I didn’t get any other estimates so I am not sure about the price. I don’t know if he is outlandish or not because that much was what I wanted to spend. The design looks good and pretty nice to me.

+ 4 moreEverything went as planned and as scheduled and on budget. Could not ask for anything more from any company.
Description of Work: Gutted and removed two kitchen walls, installed all new custom cabinetry, lighting, exhaust hood, island, tile floor. A couple of months later we had Rob back to do the same to our master bathroom. Everything is brand new, sparkling and has added function , fun and value to our property. Rob is an easy going guy and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him for any type of remodeling job.
