All went sort of ok until it came to the end. Driveway is not level (there's a wave right across the middle), the front porch posts are coming apart at the base, there's exposed wood at various places around the house when the siding was done, the top of the front porch was left unfinished, the front porch light was not reinstalled (they said they'd come back and fix, but had to pay someone else), they left a huge pile of trash on the side of garage (plus there were hundreds of siding nails and siding pieces all throughout the property that had to be cleaned up), I paid them for new shutters and to install them, but they just dropped them off and never returned (I had to finally pay someone else to do it), one of the front porch posts is half off the concrete pad (they said they'd come back to fix this), the "repair" at the base of garage is awful, they cut down a tree didn't cut the whole thing (not sure why), they left behind a whole box of siding nails in the middle of the back yard (am I supposed to get rid of this?). And this is just the short list! The last message I got was on 1/3/17 by text saying "Should be back at the end of next week" and they never showed. I sent them "old school" letter on 1/15/17 and got no response. Their communication throughout the whole process was very poor. I never knew when they were coming back because sometimes they said they'd be back on a certain day and then show up a day or two (or week) later, or just not at all. I was really hoping to find a really reliable GC that I could count on for home repairs and upgrades, but it's definitely not this company. Now I'm left hanging with all of these things that have to be finished. Trying to find someone to just do these little odds and ends is very difficult. I trusted them and they left me hanging. :(
