Description of Work: I paid for a "big deal," which was for 6 hours of labor. I needed to have a pedestal sink installed in my powder room. The entire area - including the plumbing - was already fully prepped. Because I assumed that it would take far less than 6 hours to hook up the sink, I also asked them to hang the mirror and paper holder and rehang the door. Without mentioning anything about it to me, Jason had a second person come over, and I was charged for 6 hours of labor for EACH of them. There's no way they could both have fit in the powder room at the same time, let along have been working at the same time. On top of it, they did a lousy job. They put an extra hole in my wall when installing the mirror (!), scuffed up the baseboard, neglected to use a molly when mounting the paper holder (naturally, it came out of the wall within a week and had to be redone), and they caulked my sink to the wainscoting. Why, I can't imagine. It already looks terrible.

Description of Work: The job was a basement bathroom, and overall it went very well. Jason from Blue Mountain Builders was responsive and professional, and the bathroom looks great! Granted, I was realistic about the cost and effort necessary for the job, but also Jason was very transparent about the costs and we even agreed on making copies of receipts for all materials. We ran into a snag the first day when the original "rough-in" had dimensions that didn't work, but they quickly adjusted and commenced with the necessary changes. Our schedules coordinated well. The extreme cold weather caused the two persons to have some other priorities, but then they put in great effort the final week to finish prior to my daughter's birthday party, and I was really pleased. Afterward, when there was a small problem with the shower, they came right back to fix it (standing behind their work - that means a lot!) Overall I would surely recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Regrouting and recaulking in bathroom shower stall and recaulking of bathroom sinks. Also caulking around outside doors and garage doors. Worker was friendly and very knowledgeable. He paid great attention to detail. Shower especially turned out beautiful. It looks like the day it was installed which was 21 years ago. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We had them regrout our shower stall that had mold and mildew within the existing grout. They removed all of the old grout and ran beads of new mildew resistant white caulk on the inside and beads of mildew resistant clear caulk on the outside. An excellent job. He also ran a new bead of white caulk around both sinks in our master bath. While I had a 3hr window of service available from purchasing a BIG DEAL, the work I needed done only took 1.5 hours...regardless, it was worth it!

Description of Work: They have to come and correct something that was done improperly the first time but we are assured it will be corrected. We do not have a bill yet since the work is not yet complete. Everything else is good.

Description of Work: I asked Jason Jumper of BMBs to provide carpenters to address rotting siding on my house. Two men, Chris and Chad showed up on time and walked through the project with me and listened to what I wanted them to do. They worked well together and completed the project in good time and with good results. Both men were courteous and professional. Jason called several days later to see if I was satisfied with their work. I am satisfied and will definitely consider using Blue Mountain Builders for my next project.
