As others have noted, Bill is very responsive and answered questions promptly. A particularly significant characteristic of his work is that he builds a well engineered foundation for any pavers or walls that he installs. In addition to starting with a deep underlayment, he carefully lays out and compacts the base in order to manage appropriate water runoff and drainage. He and his crew are very skilled at the paving process and work together to finish the job in an efficient manner. Throughout the installation, he invited me to review the design and was open to my inputs to assure that the overall appearance was just what I wanted. I would highly recommend him for patio blocks and paver installations.

After almost 2 years of trying to get a paver patio installed to replace an old wooden deck, Bill and his crew came through with flying colors. Dealing with other contractors that wouldn't return phone calls from my initial contact or they would come out but wouldn't follow up with an estimate and I'd never hear from them again. I had almost given up and was going to have another deck, using composite material, built which isn't what I really wanted. I'm so glad a friend of my sister referred Bill to me. He was very responsive, but most importantly he kept me in the loop either via email or phone. He worked around my schedule to do the installation. I liked the fact that he was on site during the installation. He and his crew work quickly, but efficiently and use quality products. They repaired and reseeded all areas that were affected from the tear out and installation. The best thing was his price was less than estimates I received on a stamped concrete patio and a composite deck. The paver patio is a much nicer product in my opinion.

Excellent. The biggest compliment we can give Bill Davis Landscaping is that Bill's team is extremely professional but makes you feel more like a neighbor helping a neighbor than a contractor. Bill takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows through his quality and attention to detail. The first visit was a walk through of what we wanted and Bill had a quote in 24 hrs. He came by several times before the work started for follow up discussions. He was able to move the project up and started earlier than originally anticipated. He provided excellent advice on things from layout and slope to color choice. During execution Bill was on site for all activities and provided clear communication on progress. The whole project was done in 4 working days ( little over a week with weather delays), including seeding and clean-up. We could not be happier with the result.

Very smoothly! We met for about an hour to discuss everything from my space, what he does, the material and equipment used plus all options. He answered my questions and did not make me feel like an idiot. Once he and his crew began it was done, the patio was completed in a focused timely manner with very little indication they had been there. Cleaned up and re-seeded too. My patio looks great and I feel like I got a really good bargain. Very easy from start to finish.

Bill was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Originally he wasn't going to be able to complete the project till August but he was able to fit us in over the course of four evenings in June. Very impressed with his work and his crew. He was onsite the entire time and performed most of the work himself. We had to make some adjustments during the install and he only charged for the extra material used. He paid attention to my concerns and answered my questions every time. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. If you want it done well and built to last then you should definitely hire Bill.

Bill and crew were courteous and do wonderful work. The wall we needed fixed was in a tough spot and 3 other landscapers had flat out declined the job. From start to finish this was a very comfortable process and we are happy with the result.

We had a very difficult job that several other contractors and lanscapers had declined. Bill had no issue with the tight space, drainage issue, or structural concerns. Even when Volkswagen sized boulders were discovered right where the wall's foundation was slated to go, he took it all in stride. Bill was very prompt in returning phone calls and emails, provided excellent professionalism and I was sold on his enthusiasm regarding his work. Communication was easy and the job was performed with respect for my property as well as adjacent townhouse properties with any grass needing replaced appropriately seeded. The entire job was done on the day discussed and finished within the day. The quote was very affordable given the high level of quality received.

Step 1: Consultation. Bill measured the area, made recommendations, showed me catalogs and online photos. No pressure. He was very knowledgable and took his time answering my questions. I selected several styles and colors for consideration. Step 2: Bill sent me an estimate. Step 3: Bill advised me to look at samples of the pavers I liked in person. I visited the showroom of Sauder's Hardscapes in New Holland to see the Techo Bloc displays. I decided on the Blu 60 rough texture with a blend of chestnut brown and autumn red colors. Chestnut brown for the soldiering around the edge. Step 4: Bill and two helpers arrived late yesterday afternoon, tore up the cement sidewalk and dug out the dirt and grass beside it. They returned this morning and finished the by noon. I am totally satisfied with the job. Love the way the patio looks! I chose Bill Davis because of the positive reviews on Angies List, and I'd like to add my own praise. I recommend him highly as a top notch professional.

Bill is a total professional. He gave me a thorough estimate that included materials and costs. He showed up exactly when he said he would and he and his team worked neatly and quickly to complete the job. Bill is the leader of his team and did the work. The whole team was friendly and a pleasure to work with. He came the following day to check on something and make an adjustment. The deck looks great. Bill was meticulous in details to make sure that drainage was good, patio was level and block pattern and colors were satisfactory. He ran into a problem when finding water under our concrete patio and recommended a solution that was reasonable and not costly. He and his crew did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves.

Bill and his team spent several days to get in and get out with minimal impact on us. Everyone worked hard and took care of the finishing touches when done. Bill has done landscaping work for us in the past and has always delivered a quality job result.

From start to finish, Bill and his crew were great to work with. Initial estimate was firm; no extras despite facing several unexpected situations. Bill was always punctual even though we live nearly 30 miles from his location. The patio and most of the landscaping was completed over a long weekend, so there was no disruption because of the construction The quality of the work was first-rate, so much so that the paver supplier (Techo-Bloc) sent a professional photographer from Canada to photograph the installation for their catalog. I will use Bill Davis the next time I have a project, probably to redo the front of the house next summer.

Bill and Adam were great to work with. You can tell that Bill has great pride in his work by the equipment that he uses. It is all very clean, and well maintained. Bill and Adam both were always punctual, very courteous and professional. We made several requests that were not apart of our original agreement that Bill accommodated for us. A small portion of the project did not turn out to my satisfaction, Bill was on the phone immediately to another contractor connection that he has who came and installed aluminum trim pieces to nicely finish off the patio project. Bill takes great pride in his work, and he wants the customer to be satisfied. Our project was about 650 sq ft, a nice size patio. Patio project and yard restoration was completed in 4 evenings.
