Note above. They arrived and quickly got to work. I was pleasantly surprised with a small retaining wall with extra stone on our property they incorporated into the planting and river stone placement. They cleaned up any loose debris and we were well pleased with this company's professional work and the new appearance...very pleasing to the eye, and much easier to navigate .

Bill was very professional and helpful from start to finish. His quote for our patio was lower than the competition and he worked with us to get the patio installed in time for my son's graduation party. Bill gave us some great ideas and was very understanding when we made some changes to the design and timing. He completed the permits and called the electrician who was installing a hot tub to make sure the timing and work was coordinated. I would not hesitate to use Bill for future projects and have already recommended him to friends and neighbors.

The job went amazingly well. Bill Davis, the owner, worked with us on several visits to develop a full landscape design (supplied by a separate, professional landscape designer, Jon Fleming). Both Bill and Jon, the landscape designer, are professionally trained and highly competent in their fields. The thing I most liked about Bill is that he is a civil engineer and could answer every question I had about grading, drainage, installation techniques and livability of the final product. On the initial day of installation, Bill showed up bright and early with his crew and a full complement of equipment - Bobcats, loaders, vibrating tampers, dump trucks, etc. Bill worked and stayed with his crew the entire time and directed the full installation operation. The foundation they laid under the pavers is deep and secure with several layers of crushed stone and sand. With laser levelers, they built the foundation with great precision. Then Bill placed every paver himself - extremely accurately. Then he cut curves in the patio edge with a diamond power saw to match the design. Finally, on the patio he spread polymeric sand to seal the joints and wet it down to activate the seal. The remaining work was lawn repair and re-seeding. When Bill and his crew left on the second day, the back yard looked fantastic. What amazed me the most is how fast the job was done. They worked about 14 hours the first day and 6 hours the second day. We've been enjoying the result every day since. And, finally, Bill's price was lower than other bids I received. Overall, great experience!

This was a wonderful experience from planning until completion. We had a pool put in our backyard at the end of July 2013. The fenced area around the pool and yard was dirt and stones as a result of its construction. We started looking for a landscaper in March 2014. From the initial meeting, we were impressed with the professionalism and knowledge Bill presented. We were always informed of the day and time work would be done. Any questions we had were always patiently answered. Bill and his helper worked long days to complete our project. The end result is everything we had hoped it would be. There would be no hesitation in recommending Bill Davis landscaping to friends and family.

Bill and his crew put up a retaining wall for our driveway. He was great to work with and we will call him again for anything else we need in his line of work. He managed to overcome different sized blocks of a nature he wasn't used to dealing with and gave us a great looking wall. Neighbors are even asking who did it and how did they do it so quick! They started on a Saturday morning and were done pretty much by Sunday. They great thing was his finishing work. He went the extra mile to make sure that we were properly graded for the heavy water flow we get. He shops around also to get you the best deal on the products. 26 tons of gravel isn't cheap but he managed to help save money there buy calling around to get the cheapest price! And he was happy that he saved us money! He gives a solid estimate and sticks to it. I know he hated our 80lb blocks but he was very professional and took the time to make sure they looked good. They did a good cleanup too and made sure any ruts they left were filled in and seeded. I recommend Bill because he is honest to talk to and honest in his profession. I don't like people who think they need to BS their way in to a job, you will not have this with Bill. Update 3/19/15: Wall still looks amazing and we have had no problems with it. Love it!

He is located close by. He was very good about discussing the project and what was going to happen. I felt like I could trust him by his reputation. He did a good job.

Bill was a pleasure to work with from the moment I called him. He was awarded the job due to his attention to detail and straight forward honesty. Out of everyone I spoke with he asked far more information and what was most important to us before he even made his first suggestion. After he presented us the initial design we wanted to make a few changes and also were hesitant on which color to choose. Bill suggested we go visit his supplier and see the colors and available options in person. After returning we were able to quickly finalize the design. Bill then reviewed the entire project and timeline and began. During the process I had a seperate concrete contractor to pour the pad and that was the ONLY part of the project that did not go exactly as planned. Bill showed up on time every time and returned all calls in a timely fashion. In fact due to the other contractor delay Bill came out to finish on Christmas Eve regardless of how many times I told him that was not necessary. The project turned out better than expected and exactly as quoted. Some additional notes about the experience, Bill far exceeded my expectations as a professional, he communicated and coordinated better than any contractor I have dealt with in the past. His written quote and his word on all changes were honored exactly as presented. He followed up after completion to verify we were not only satisfied but to offer any changes if desired. He also followed up about 6 months after completion to make sure everything was still structurally and visually appealing. Personally I recommend Bill to not only my friends, family and neighboors but anyone who asks and As a Realtor by trade I will only recommend a contractor to my clients that I know I can trust and Bill Davis Landscaping is that company.

I contacted Mr Davis via a recommendation from a friend. Mr Davis quickly made himself available to come to my home and review my proposed project. Within a week, Mr Davis sent me an estimate to complete the task. I evaluated his estimate against others in hand. I secured references from Mr Davis. I contacted all the references Mr Davis completed work for. I went to one of the client homes to review the work he completed and secure an impression from the client of Mr Davis. The client is a retired US Army General. The General and the other clients were extremely pleased with Mr Davis's work. Anyone who gets the accolades and admiration of a three star General military officer is a person to hire. Mr Davis is such a person. I hired Mr Davis. I have had a lot of work done over the years. No one compares to Mr Davis's landscaping acumen. His original estimate compared to final implemented cost were the same. The timeliness to execute the project - outstanding. The cost to execute the project - outstanding. The working relationship throughout the project - outstanding. The "on the fly" requests to modify and enhance during project execution - outstanding. The patience and receptiveness to change while the project was unfolding and coming together - outstanding. Mr Davis is an artist. He is extremely good at his task. Mr Davis is a great and refreshing asset to an industry chuck full of questionable "fly by night" hardscape landscapers. Mr Davis knows his business. He is terrific at his craft. He and his crew were very good to work with. Would I recommend Mr Davis to another client? I did, my mother. I did, my next door neighbor. Both had the same quality experience with Mr Davis as I did. Both were extremely pleased with the outcome. Would I recommend Mr Davis again? Absolutely, 100%, AAA. As time permits, and finances permit, Mr Davis is coming back to my home to do more hardscaping, Project 1, Part 1 - complete. Part 2 - imminent.

Bill put in a Patio and lanscaping all at an extremely good price. He was able to work with my Electrican and Masonary contractor (DWH Masonry ) to make sure each person was doing what they needed to do each day to get the job done. Bill works another job during the day, so most of his work was done in the evenings and weekends. He was extremely punctual , was there when he said he would be there, and work non-stop, start to finish. We could not be happier with the job he finished. He was willing to change things as he worked , to suit our desires, and put a ton of work into the landscaping in order to make sure our patio looked great. He added a few things at no cost in order to make sure the job was done right. He was extremely detailed and really over exceeded our expectations!

Due to a recent knee replacement surgery, I had to hire out for the first time someone else to do what I truly enjoy doing ....digging in the dirt ! I've had the property a few years and have created numerous landscaping improvements, planted hundreds of plants, etc., etc.. So to there's a lot of spring maintenance involved. Found Bill in the yellow pages ....what caught my eye in his add : " I return all my calls"....so i called, and he came promptly to look things over. Had a great estimate a couple days later and I have to tell you, you couldn't find anymore more empathetic with the property owner, and self -conscious about his work .....top quality work, competitive fair pricing, diligent to your instructions and details. I've referred him to another job at a friend's house, which he can do in early May. Definitely recommend Bill and his company for anything lawn/garden/landscaping related!
