Sweigarts Heating & Cooling

Tony did nice job. Problem is that we had a problem on another unit in May 2015. Tony came out said he would contact manufacturer, get the part and fix it. It's been over a month I have left 6 messages, 1 text and have yet to receive a call back regarding the status of the part and when he would be able to repair the unit. Am currently looking for another hvac contractor.

We called Mr. Sweigart during Hurricane Sandy and explained that our power was out and our backup heat source (our gas fireplace) was not functioning. We were pretty sure that it was the thermocoupler. Mr. Sweigart fit us in to his busy schedule the next day and came to service our fireplace - confirming that it was indeed the thermocoupler. He charges around $90 for a a standard service visit. We found that this was comparable to others in the area. Then there was an additional fee for the part and actual repair. We were surprised that he didn't charge us an extra fee because we live pretty far from his home base. He was friendly, professional, and great at communicating. He answered his phone every time we called and called us to keep us updated on when he expected to reach our house.

He's very honest and smart. I have been using him for quite a while. I have a geo-thermal unit, and was unable to get in touch with the original installer. He knows what he's doing, he's easy to get ahold of, and he's here when he says he will be. I highly recommend him.
