Superior Air Duct Cleaning

Rick was there on time, explained the process, shared the video of the inside of the ductwork so I could actually see the difference before cleaning and after. The service was definitely worth the money!! As if that wasn't enough, he found my wife's lost gold earring in the driveway and brought it to the door to return to me. We had been looking for it for three days, and were thrilled he found it. We were also impressed with his honesty. It's nice to have someone so honest doing work in your home.

Wanted the service for allergy reasons. We've lived in this new house for 6 years and it seemed as if our dust allergies were getting worse. The cleaning has really seemed to help.

.Arrived as scheduled. Took tour of house showing all duct locations. made access points in ducts. Asked if I wanted to see video cam, which I did. He stuck a short cable into the main duct over the furnace and showed me on a small screen what the camera saw. I was disappointed, expected to see more than that small amount of a couple of feet. They did a good job cleaning most of the ducts. On the cold air returns, I have a duct high in the wall, and one at floor level. I expected both to be cleaned. Only the lower one was opened so I feel it is possible that not all dust was removed. They forgot to screw in one register vent, but fixed that as soon as I mentioned it. My main gripe is, and at this time I'm not 100% sure I have a gripe, deals with my vent that is under my kitchen sink. They removed the vent and cleaned under the cabinet. It was pretty bad as we have had dogs all along. He said he would finish off the rest of the run from the basment. I see no evidence that that duct was opened anywhere. I plan on opening it myself to see. If it was missed, I will call them back. The reason I say I see no evidence is the fact that all the seams were taped with duct tape years ago. It is quite brittle now. No fresh tape installed on any seam, no holes visible where they might have drilled into it. IAnother area that disappointed was my family room area. My house is a split level. Kitchen/living room over a basement, and bedrooms over a ground level family room. The family room has vents in the ceiling. He stuck a small pipe in the vents and blew air into them. He did not remove the vents and send anything further in. I questioned that, he said it wasn't needed. But you know, I did pay to have them fully cleaned. They also did not go into the main runs that feed all these ducts, and the bedrooms. I heard him tell his partner there was no where to cut in. Now I do have a finished ceiling, but it is easy to see where the ducts run. And I know one other company does cut into a ceiling to get access. THose were the ones I actually wanted to see on video, but never did. I did not see any "after" video of anything. If after I open the vent leading to my kitched sink, and it happens to be clean, I may call them back in the future. If it isn't, that will never happen since I have no idea of how the other areas were done. I am slightly disappointed overall.

Cleaned and sanitized all air ducts(over 30). Cleaned both furnaces. Whole job went very well and took a lot less time than expected.

This being my 1st time having it done this company really stood up to his name and the staff who did the work really walked me thru it and cleaned up very good after all the work was DONE !!! I was little nervous about the process and I really thought I was just going to cancel the whole appointment but HE (the staff) stop and talked with me and even said how other companies don't have the suction power like them and how it's going to CLEAN every corner and cracks. Now for the record I looked around and called couple companies and nobody really stood out like this one, plus other places wanted over $500-$600 hundred dollars. I only have 5 vents.

Wonderful experience, price exactly as quoted over the phone. Rich showed up exactly on time and was extrememly friendly. Did a wonderful job of cleaning our ductwork and vents and was very respectful of our home and keeping it clean behind him. He was more than accomodating with stepping over our three year old son's toys as well. He cleaned and sanitized our ductwork and vents. He even showed my husband how to properly tape the ductwork when he has time to improve efficiency. He noticed that one duct was disconnected and reconnected it for us at no additional charge. He also noticed that one of the vents leading to our second floor was turned off, which we never knew. Absolutely thrilled that we chose these guys to do the job. Overall it took about 3 hours to do and I would absolutely hire them again. It has already cut down on the musty smell in our home and the amount of dust that accumulates. Well worth the money.

They came out on 10/4 and cleaned my vent and furnace blower. Unfortunately when I turned my furnace on dust blew into my home aggravating my asthma. I called John (the owner) and he sent his guy back to my home the very next day. He re-cleaned the vents and blower and even ran the furnace with the suction running to catch any residual dust. They were polite and responsive and I will use them again next year!

We hired Superior Air Duct Cleaning based on positive reviews on Angie's List. An appointment was set up for services to be commencing between 8 and 8:30am on 10/2/13. When the company failed to show up by 9:15am, a call to the company revealed that there was an error in scheduling, and a technician was accidentally sent to the house of someone who had set up an appointment for the following day. Once this was discovered, the owner was extremely apologetic and promised to have a technician to the house as soon as possible and offered us a hefty discount on the work, on top of the $75 discount offered on Angie's List. The technician arrived by noon, and the owner made a special trip to our house to assure that we were satisfied and to issue us the discount. The work was extremely professionally done, the scope if the work was explained to us in detail before and after completion, and the difference in the air quality in the house is remarkable. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this company. We will surely be calling them again to perform work in our house again in the future.

They did a wonderful job, very professional and prompt. There were no hidden fees and the extimate was exactly as discussed. I would definately use them again. To my surprise, I'm only dusting my coffee table one a week instead of once a day. It has cut down on the dust drastically. Highly recommended!und

It was well worth every dime we paid I could hear all the debris getting pulled true the hose on each floor it is amazing what a difference there was from the before picture to the after that they took and the way my house smells and feels now .

Rich showed up on time and walked me through the the job so I knew what to expect. He answered my questions cheerfully and was very pleasant to deal with. He did a great job.

Rich arrived exactly on time. We initially walked through the house and got a count of all the ducts that were to be cleaned. He took his shoes off while in the house and I didn't even need to ask him to do so. Rich wrote up a quote for us and explained how everything works and what exactly he would be doing. Once he had the holes cut in the two main ducts he took a 'before' photo and showed it to me so as to get a baseline of how dirty the system was prior to the cleaning. It took Rich about 3 hours to complete the job. He started upstairs and worked his way down to the basement. He cleaned the work area completely once he was finished. We are very please with his work and would certainly recommend Rich and Superior for anyone's duct cleaning needs. I cannot comment on the price as we did not get quotes or estimates from any other company. We simply went to Angie's list to find the right company for us. We are very please with the results. Provider was able to schedule appointment quickly. Arrived on time. Services were completed within about 2 hours with no mess and no issues whatsoever. Provider was polite and efficient and answered all questions. Price was competitive and as expected.

He was very nice. I was going to get the HVAC system cleaned but wasn't able to do that because my duct work was exposed.

Rich did a great job. It is a big house and he cleaned both basement and attic. The price was a little higher than what i had initially expected, but we are very happy with his job.

One man was here all day, his name was Halalan and he was excellent. We were astonished with how thorough he was. We even asked him to do some extra things and he was just helpful. He was such a nice person. They are well worth using!

Although there were cheaper estimates out there, some companies try to upsell you from the advertised price. Superior Air Duct Cleaning is a first rate professional company that dleivers a service and does what they say at the price quoted. They were very clean and any mess they cleaned up. It took about 3 hours to thoroughly clean the ducts using two different methods. One is like a extremely high powered vacuum and the other loosens any built up debris like rust and particles stuck to the inside of the ducts. We were very pleased with Dean and Jason and would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants an honest price, quality workmanship, and noticeable results. We were told that airducts should be cleaned every 7-10 years and we are confident that the job will not need to be repeated for many years. Keep up the good work Superior! They really did a good job. Cleaned both the cold air and hot air duct work. Cleaned all the vents and the furnace. Asked questions and he explained everything to me. I highly recommend them.

I was extremely happy with the service. The technician was very thorough, professional and prompt. Cost and expectations were explained up-front and were met. I would definately recommend them. The technician really was fabulous. He did great with my two dogs, who just loved him.

I phoned John at Superior on Thursday. He provided me with the information to calculate the approximate cost of cleaning all of the ducts and returns in my home. I knew exactly what I would be spending for 35 total ducts/returns. I agreed to the price and we scheduled the work to be completed the NEXT day! Rich showed up at my house on time and was extremely pleasant. He was professional and explained the process to me in detail. He set up a camera for me to view the duct work and I could see that the ducts of my 9 year old home were covered in thick white drywall dust. (No wonder I could use a Swiffer each and every hour of the day!) His equipment was clean and the hoses were made of a soft material which didn't scratch the trim of my home. When it began to rain softly, he hung a clean tarp on the opening of the sliding glass door where the large vacuum hose entered my house. This prevented any rain or debris to enter while he was working. I appreciated that very much. The biggest surprise I had was when I was doing laundry on the first floor and Rich was using the pressurized blower to clean the vents in the bathroom directly above me. I could literally hear chunks of debris being pushed through the trunk line of the system. It was unbelievable. I ran upstairs to verify that that was what I was actually hearing and Rich confirmed that there was definitely a lot of construction material being pushed through to the vacuum. When all was said and done, my 9 year old home produced 2-five gallon buckets of material (drywall, drywall mud, wiring, pieces of wood, sawdust, etc) and 18 pounds of drywall dust. I cannot stop talking about it to my friends and family. It was amazing. I am sooooo sorry I didn't have this done earlier. I could have saved so much time dusting. Since it was raining, I didn't have an opportunity to look for the dust particles that typically fly through the air in my great room when the sun shines through the windows after 4:30 pm daily. Today, however, it was beautiful outside and I sat and waited. After just one day, it was obvious to even my 10 and 11 year olds that the duct cleaning helped tremendously. I actually feel better about the air that we are all breathing. Rich really did a wonderful job cleaning my air ducts and I actually enjoyed his company while he was in my home. I must also say that when all of the ducts were clean and while Rich was finishing cleaning my furnace, he came across a problem that he could not fix. For some reason, the blower on my furnace would not kick on, when he attempted to start it up again. He tried his best, however, he did not know what to do. He made a few phone calls to see if anyone within the company could trouble shoot with him. Unfortunately, nobody knew how to fix the problem. Rich assured me that it would be taken care of and I believed him. I paid him for the work he had done and was told that a furnace repair company (Coleman and Mitchell) would show up within the hour. Within 30 minutes, the furnace company was at my house and the problem was solved. I needed a new electrical panel for my furnace and it was replaced within the hour and the bill was handled by John from Superior Air Duct Cleaning. Talk about customer service! I appreciate a company that stands behind their good name and does the right thing when faced with an issue. There is no doubt that I would recommend Superior Air Duct Cleaning to my family and friends. I already have. Thank you for a job well done.

They guys came over and they were very professional. They counted the number of registers in my home and discussed the pricing and optional services they provide. They were very professional and did a great job. They hooked up a video to my vents and showed me how much dust was in our furnace. The guys even closed up an old register in my garage. It took about 3 hours total to perform the cleaning and sanitizing. Very professional and great service.

The technician showed up on time and was extremely professional. The entire cleaning took about 3.5 hours, which is right where they quoted us on the phone (3-4 hours). We couldn't be happier with this company's service and technician. Recommend and will use again.
