The owner was very responsive to my need. I was in a hurry to get the job done because I was selling my house. He was able to come the next day. He did the job without me even being there. I really appreciated the trust and responsiveness. And the job was done right and very well cleaned up afterwords. I would highly recommend.

He came the day we called, gave us a day he would come, came when he promised, and did everything he said he would do.

Excellent service. Arrived as scheduled, removed the two trees and cleaned up everything. Treated the stumps so that they will decompose.

Rob was prompt in getting back to me after my initial enquiry. His quote was very competitive. He did all the work we discussed and did a thorough job of clearing away all the debris.

Getting a hold of the provider to schedule a time for the service to be done was very difficult. However, once the date was scheduled he was able to perform the job on the day it was scheduled.

Rob gave us a prompt same day quote. He performed the service 2 business days later for the quoted price. He cleaned up & even ground another stump from before we moved in for free.

I called for an estimate to have the work done and Mr. Burr, the owner, responded within just a couple of hours, and apoligized for the delay getting back to me. Mr. Burr was very pleasant and understood what I wanted done. I was somewhat surprised though, when he handed me his business card with the estimate written on the back of it. First, the handwriting was very small, and difficult to read. Second, there were no terms of what or how the work was to be completed. I work in property management and acquire written proposals almost daily. Without spelling out the details in a proposal or contract, I would be very hesitant to do business with someone like this. Not a good business practice! I would not recommend using this company.

Everything was done as they advertised. Very professional and knowledgeable about their job.

Overall, I just thought it was a shoddy job. They ground the stump but left all the sawdust and wood chips there. In addition, because they did not clean up the wood chips, they missed a significant root that should have been ground up. They said they were going to clean up, but because we could not be there for the finish of the job, they did not. We would not use them again.

Service was performed well, as contracted. Easy to deal with. I would hire again.

We ended up not getting the work done because the estimate was too high.

After I purchased the deal, Angie’s List asked if I’ve heard from the company and I said no. It’s been several months later now and I’d rather just go with a refund. I was really hoping they would contact me because I still need to work done.

They did okay. They got the job done and it is small. They were quite honest, so at this juncture they are in some ways limited certainly to the scope of what they can take on, but they got my job accomplished and that is what mattered. As a matter of fact it did end up being little bit more than Big Deal amount, the scope was bigger, I think what it was not for specific task but for number of hours of work, so it did end up being bit more than that. It took a while to get set up and everything, but they did get it accomplished. They did quality work. He was definitely responsive and punctual. They were very professional in what they accomplish no doubt. I would use them again depending on the scope of work.

They never came to do the work. I don't know why. At this point, I would rather just get a refund, than have the company come and do the work.

I signed up for the deal the end of September, I got a message through Angie's List that he wanted my phone number to contact me. I never heard from him again even after prompting from your company until I called him to make an appointment. He wrote his quote on the back of a business card so he had no copy. He didn't seem to know the difference between a sweet gum and a maple tree. He seemed very unprofessional.

Response to the Angie's coupon purchase was prompt. Robert came to our house to scope out the job. Scheduled quickly and completed quickly. On the day scheduled, the crew was prompt and thorough. They were respectful of our property; we have a very narrow driveway and they were very careful with equipment. They completed the job per our specifications. The crew cleaned up after themselves: they even cleaned up leaves that had fallen in our yard before the trimming!

Person has not shown up to do the work.

Cut down a pine tree that was hanging over our driveway. I was in the hospital, but they came and did it and my neighbor paid the extra $100 and we repaid her.

After initial meeting, did not hear from them for 2 weeks. I had to follow up and ask to be scheduled. When the first date given did not work for me, I gave them another option - any day the following week. After promising to call with 2nd date, did not hear from them for rest of that week and following week. Called 3rd week to say they will be here the next morning when they had been instructed from beginning that I need 2 days notice and afternoons work better for me. Decided I cannot trust someone who does not follow through as promised and ignores customer's instructions.

Rob was professional polite, and very customer oriented. He and his team removed two trees that were very close to my house as well as a neighbors house, and did so without any damage to any property. They cleaned up very well and stacked the wood that I wanted to keep, hauling all of the other debris away. Rob was punctual with every appointment from the first estimate through to the last work activity. He made sure that I was provided with proof of insurance prior to starting work. I would recommend RB Tree Services.
