From the start, speaking with Ken instilled trust in us for the work to be done well. Daniel was the one to come to our home. He was on time, polite, made good eye contact, and made us feel that the job would be done well. It was and we are very pleased to have found the right company to handle our fireplace needs in the future.

Writing this just after Ken left today, 03-22-21. Fantastic! Ken was not on time - he was early! He called day before to remind me of appointment. In previous phone calls, Ken detailed the inspection and cleaning fees (WAY less $$ than another chain operated chimney company). As it turned out, all of my flues & chimney were in great shape so it was only $149 for the inspection of both fireplaces and all three flues. Nikko's Chimney (oops; didn't mean to put their name here :-)) wanted $199, $189 and $179 PER FLUE!! Ken also gave me some good tips about caulking needed around my chimney and inside the fireplaces that will preserve my fireplaces and chimney and save me money in the long term. I found Ken to be very personable, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. I would absolutely have him come back in the future for any work like this I will need! Ash's Chimney Sweep is a fine example of the small businesses that are the foundation of the United States. I always prefer to purchase from a small business if I can, instead of corporations and small business owners like Ken make me happy and proud to do that. Thanks, Ken!

Ken was prompt in returning my initial call. He worked with my schedule and arrived at scheduled time. He cleaned the chimney with no issues. I would recommend Ken to others.

After trying two other local chimney sweeps, neither of which did a good job, we contacted Ash's Chimney Sweep. Ken returned our call promptly, set up an appointment and performed an exceptional job. Our wood burner has an elbow pipe from the stove to the chimney. Neither of the other two chimney sweeps disconnected the pipe to thoroughly clean it. Ken, on the other hand, removed the pipe and completely vacuumed the interior of the pipe, flue and stove itself. As you can imagine, using the stove for 25 plus years and never having it cleaned properly, Ken had quite a job to do. During his visit, he inspected our fireplace flue at no extra cost. He was professional, thorough and an interesting fellow. We feel comforted knowing that we have a clean chimney for the season ahead.

Ken was very professional. He worked quickly and was very neat, which isn't an easy thing to do while cleaning a chimney.

Will use again next time my chimney needs swept. Everything about the service provided was positive.

I have been using this service once a year since 2003; they have been always on time and very professional; Ken did a thorough job and left the place clean; would highly recommend them; on occasion he has suggested improvements to the chimney (like the system that closes it for the summer) which he installed.

Ken called back the same day I called to schedule an appointment and we set a date and time. He showed up on time, cleaned and inspected a log burning/gas fireplace in our living room and also took a look at a vent free gas fireplace in our bedroom. He was professional, personable, and cleaned up everything when he was Very happy to have met him, and we will definitely call him again. We have had some shady characters show up to do other things that we would not want to have in our house ever again. Ken would definitely be welcomed back.

Ken cleaned and inspected my chimney. He informed me that my crown is getting bad. I scheduled to have it repaired in the spring.

This provider has cleaned and inspected our fireplace and chimney for over 10 years. He confirms his appointment and arrives on time. He is extremely careful with his equipment and servicing area to keep it clean and undamaged. He completes the service in a timely manner and gave us a fair price for the work. I would recommend this provider willingly. I understand he also provides chimney brick work repair and maintenance.

He worked quickly and cleanly, gave requested information and advice on use of fireplace and wood heat alternatives.

They were very good. He was a very nice fellow. It's a nice family. They did a nice job. We were pleased with them. They didn't have to do much because they didn't have to do any chimney sweep. There was nothing to dislike. He called and made the appointment and showed in a timely manner. He was very personable and professional. He did what he asked him to do and charged us accordingly. Ken has been sweeping our chimney for quite a few years. He is on time, does an efficient job, and leaves his work area clean. He covers everything with tarps when cleaning the chimney and wood burner . I would recommend him to anybody. He is also very knowledgable about wood burners and a very nice guy. I usually have him come in the spring when he is offering a pre-season discount.
