Description of Work: Refused to replace lumber that they ruined. Horrible work. Have to spend a lot of money to undo the mess that they created. No not recommend. Took money and didn't complete the job. Stay away.

Description of Work: They did not even do 1/2 the job and walked out taking our money. The man called stating " I took your money because I needed it. I can't finish the job." We now have a lawyers and going to get our money back. We are not sure if they even have insurance or a license.

 + -1 moreWorst experience ever. I would not hire them ever again. Consider someone else! They came to my house and did an estimate. I called them back to get started with the work. We agreed on the work and day they could start. I wanted a carpet runner that they also put into the estimate. I gave them cash upfront to get the materials. They left such a mess when they were done. They did a horrible job. They messed up the top of the stairs and wanted $20 more for extra materials because they messed up. The step they messed up is so narrow I am afraid I am going to fall everytime I step on it and I always have to be extra careful so I don't fall. I called them and canceled the carpet runner and decided I didn't want them to come back and mess up any more. There were nails that weren't hammered in all the way underneath the stairs and they look awful. I had to have someone else come in and fix the mess that they left. Also because I canceled the carpet runner, they owed me money. They said they were going to come back and pay me the money they owed but they never showed up. I sent them a paypal request for the money and they didn't pay it back that way either. I gave them $400 in cash which included extra money for the carpet runner which I later decided I didn't want. They quoted me at $320 without the carpet runner and also picked up $20 worth of extra materials because of the mess up which comes to a total cost of $340. They owe me $60 I will probably never see, plus I had to pay someone else to come fix what they messed up. They were very unprofessional. My house smelled like smoke because they smoked like chimneys.
