I hired a contractor to make repairs to some of the shoddy work done by Norman Boell and his crew of LVMC. They found trash lumber and stones placed in the eaves during the repairs. Mr. Boell should be ashamed of himself.

They never finished the project. They said they would finish the last step but never did despite calling them a few times. We made the mistake of trusting them and paying in full before it was done. Now we have to hire someone else to finish the job. I would stay away.

LVMC was able to build us a beautiful 600ft deck in just 4 days! They did a fantastic job and in a timely manor

LVMC did an excellent job removing and rebuilding our deck and balcony. The entire process, from planning to implementation, went very smoothly and with great communication. The team completed this whole project in only a few day, while still taking great care of the finer details. Their pricing is also very competitive. In the end, we got exactly the deck we wanted and couldn't be happier. We're already getting several compliments from our neighbors. The owner, Norm, is very professional and easy to work with. He listens to what you want and offers suggestions. His crew is also very knowledgeable and hard working. We hired Mr. Norman Boell*s company to install a 3 season room for us. The project began well and Mr. Boell*s staff worked hard and efficiently. As the project wore on, some of the finishing details appeared to be done sloppily and hastily. The flooring that was installed was not the flooring that we had chosen. When questioned about it, Mr. Boell claimed not to know anything about it, even though we had sent him the model and sku numbers for the flooring and he had acknowledged receiving it. The flooring that was installed did not look terrible, so we accepted it, even though it was not what we had chosen or wanted. Some other things that looked sloppily done are window sills that have splits in them and cedar boards that are heavily scratched (one has a random half inch hole drilled in it). During a recent heavy rainfall, rain began to stream in from under the door and pool on the floor. During our final meeting with Mr. Boell, we had pointed out some of these areas along with skirting boards that were cut to accommodate piles of soil that were excavated from the post holes at the beginning of the project. It appears Mr. Boell did send his staff out in an attempt to correct some issues, but they were not adequately, in our opinion. Mr. Boell had agreed to give us a board or two to fix the short skirting boards when we do our landscaping. We left several messages for him over the last several weeks in an attempt to get these boards and we have received no response from him. Given our overall experience, we would not recommend Lehigh Valley Maintenance and Construction Company to any of our friends or neighbors.

Initially Norm was great at communicating, Once the job was completed it has been impossible to reach him. I noticed my deck was shorter than we agreed upon by 3 inches. When I mentioned it to him he stated that the inspector instructed him to shorten the length of the deck by 3 in. That information was never disclosed to me until I took the measurements myself. When I spoke to Norm about it he offered to pay the difference for the three inches when I agreed he then questioned me doing so, stating that it was a sick move on my part to accept or request any compensation. He began to tell me that he removed my pavers as if it was a favor, even though this is something that we agreed upon during his visit to discuss the job. I have never received a receipt after payment or a follow-up phone call let alone any compensation. I paid for a deck that was to be 12 ft by 20 ft and received a deck that is 11ft 9 inches by 20 ft. It is only a difference of 6 sq ft, I feel that I should get what I paid for.

At first, their overall work had been good but after sometime, I noticed that some boards were lifting and needed to be fixed and they said that they would fix the problem, but they did not show and did not answer any of my calls or got back to me to get my issue resolved.

Beautiful work and timely. communication on plan and start date could have been tighten up. Clean up could have been better. Overall I was extremely pleased and would definitely recommend them as those few items I mentioned are meaningless on the grand scale. The work was quality,the price fair and they work fast.

Norm was very helpful and knowledgeable, stuck to what I was promised with the timeline of the job and the quality of the work and materials. Iâ m very satisfied with every aspect of the project he completed. Wouldnâ t hesitate to hire this company again.

During the construction of our new deck they found issues with the previous deck installation which they corrected with hesitation. As for our new deck it is spectacular we have received so many compliments. You can not go wrong with hiring this contractor.

Norm the owner was great! We called for an estimate and he came within two days and we sat there and he listened to all of our wants and needs and helped us build an amazing deck. Norm and company did a great job removing my old deck and replacing it with a larger deck. In total it took 2 days from start to finish. It looks great and I received many compliments from neighbors. I highly recommend Lehigh Valley Maintenance to anyone needing to have a deck built.

Norm and his team were good to start and had a competitive price. My deck, which is nearly 500sq feet and includes a staircase is constructed well for the most part, but sloppy. I had several issues I asked Norm and/or his son to fix, and getting a response took literally dozens of emails and calls. They did eventually correct some issues almost a year later, but not all. And when I attempted to contact them again and finishing the incomplete areas, I continually got ignored. I ended up having to fix the deck myself by jacking up the cross boards that separated two sections of the deck. Norm and his guys didnâ t put cross beams or joists underneath, just another board that is held in by nails, and began sagging so much that there was a lip which we were constantly tripping over. Norm had the best price, and unfortunately I found out why

Overall very happy with the deck that Norms team built in two days. They were on schedule and finished on time. Even made some last-minute modifications. I have recommended them to many - I have received many compliments on their work. However, customer service after the install is poor. I called and emailed Norm about an issue with the light installation and have received no response.

Well worth the wait! We love our new deck. It is the perfect addition onto our home, and will be great for many more years to come! Norm & his team did an awesome job. Highly recommend!
