They are extremely overpriced. I was going to have them do the electrical, the flooring and the cabinets and they wanted $30,000. That was without painting. You have go to to be out of your mind. I turned them down. At the end of the process, the paperwork said "additional charges may be necessary." I felt like it was writing a blank check. I knew for a fact you could get kitchens done for around $20,000. They responded pretty quickly. Another thing I didn't like was that when he was taking measurements of the kitchen, he asked us to leave the room. I thought that was kind of odd. No, I would not use them again in the future.

Work performed was very good. The workers were professional and did a very good job especially the Tile Man Rich who did a great job. Pricing should be more competitive.

Actually good. There were some issues but Kitchen Magic was very responsive to our concerns and acted on them in a very reasonable amount of time. Two sets of doors were cut too thin and had to be replaced. This delayed the project by a week. There were some issues with division of labor responsibility where the plumber said he was not responsible for some things and it was up to the cabinet installers. The cabinet installers said it was up the plumber and not them. Actually, the plumber was right in most of the debate. The plumber didn't realize that he had to caulk around our new kitchen faucet base and it leaked when we washed dishes if water got on top of the sink. The plumber figured the base as a gasket and it would take care of it, it really didn't. We asked the cabinet installers to caulk and they did, no problems since. We had soffits removed and there was some ceiling damage as would be expected. The repair was included but at first Kitchen Magic would only put on 2 coats of mud and said they were not responsible for making the repair "paint ready". After a bit of discussion, Kitchen Magic had the installer do the smoothing. All installers did a fantastic job. Things fit nicely and caulking was neatly and professionally done. Everyone who worked on the project were very friendly, accommodating and very professional. We are very happy with the cabinets, draws, counter top,and back splash we chose. The cabinets are solid, not flimsy. I could almost give Kitchen Magic A all the way but I do think some of the issues kept the job going longer than we had hoped. I'm not really sure if the price we paid was great or just good. It appears to be fair, especially since they stand behind the cabinets and installation for as long as you own the house. Note that we had electrical work done, new flooring done as well as kitchen wall repair that was outside Kitchen Magic's scope. Kitchen Magic coordinated with the other contractors very well.

They were one of the best companies I've ever worked with. They are expensive but they work with you and get you your money's worth. I was so impressed with how quick they worked they were in and out and everything looks absolutely beautiful. The contractor was wonderful, friendly and professional I highly recommend them.

FANTASTIC! The results exceeded my expectation! It is like having a new kitchen. The person doing the installation was exceptionally hard working and made sure I was satisfied with everything he did. The person doing the calculations prior to the work spent hours making sure all the information was accurate, P

From sale, to design to installation it was the best performance by a contractor ever. I have done several projects in homes I have owned since 1971. Kitchen Magic exceeded my expectations in every way. The project management was first rate. All of the technicians and installers nailed every detail, communicated well and made sure my wife and I were totally satisfied. The products were all well made and put together with quality in mind. The project Geraint and ended according to the schedule. It was a stress free experience given the magnitude of activities taking place while we were living in the house.kitchen Magic helped make our home a warmer and happier place as the Kitchen is a central gathering place with family and ftiends.

Spoke to the receptionist to get an estimate on a project. She informed me they wouldn't come out and speak to me because I'm A woman. I explained the home is my name and no one else's and that gender shouldn't matter. She repeated that a man must be present. I felt very insulted and disgusted.

We made the appointment for 7 pm on Monday March 7th. The representative told us to give her a window of 7-7:30 in case of traffic. We agreed with no problem. That evening she showed up at 8. To their defense, a rep did call me to warn me she'd be late. Once our designer, Maria, showed up she was great. She gave great detail, took measurements, and even walked our apartment to give us decorating suggestions. We explained to her that we had yet to close and were looking to find our kitchen renovators before so that they could start immediately after. She thought it was an excellent idea. After everything she said she'd get our estimates to us by Friday, 4 days later. By the following Wednesday when I still hadn't heard from her I called the company. I was told that because we had yet to close they couldn't work with us and suggested we reach back after we close. When I told the rep that Maria knew all this and said it wasn't a problem she put me on hold, and then came back to tell us she would leave a message for Maria and tell her "we were trying to get in touch with her." Today is March 25th. No one has reached out to me. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism from kitchen magic. I was really looking forward to Maria's plan. Stay away from this company. Clearly they like to pick and choose their customers and apparently, our business wasn't good enough.

Totally overpriced work. Other providers later claimed to do the same job 50-80% cheaper. I was fooled by the Angie's list discount coupon. Since the job was already overpriced, the coupon didn't really meant much. It took 4 months to complete such a small job (a lower and an upper set of cabinets). Terrible bad project manager. The first contractor couldn't finished because not all the materials were delivered to my house. The second contractor did such a bad job, that the first contractor was sent back to redo what the second had done really poorly and finish the job. Third visit and almost three months after first payment the job wasn't completed. Contractor had to come to my house for a fourth time, until the new materials came. I missed time at my job every time I had to be at home again for this to be completed. But my biggest complaint is that I was forced to pay the full amount of the contract, even though the job wasn't completed. I was told that this was normal and that Kitchen Magic would make the fixes after I completed payments.

The pricing was the best and the quality was good.

They gave out references and I've never had a company do that. I've never heard of such excellent references in my life.

As noted, they would not work with wife alone. TERRIBLE

Prompt and professional service. It has been a year now, and the cabinet doors and veneer still look like new, with no sign of any wear at all. The kitchen looks great. The quality of the doors is much better than my prior doors. One drawer was a bit off in color from the others, and the company immediately replaced it with a good match. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Before signing the contract, I visited another customer (the company provides list of customers willing to have you come to their house) and her 10-year old cabinets also looked like new, so I have high hopes for the future.

Everything went excellent and the place looks gorgeous.

I went to a local "Home Show" and stopped at their booth. My existing kitchen cabinet doors and trim had water damage all over them, just from 17 years of everyday use. Ordinary water just dissolved the varnish. Although this wasn't my number one priority, the people at the booth corralled me into making an appointment. I had seen their website at one point so I knew vaguely who they were. I also decided to make appointments with competitors so I would have a frame of reference. The sales person came to the house and was polite and professional. He gave me a quote and I told him I needed a week to consider it. They were the second company I had met with. The third never showed or called. The first was a large chain store with a higher price and a much longer time between placing the order and installation (7 weeks) and would not give me references, their name was reference enough I was told. Kitchen Magic gave me as many references as I wanted. Within a week, I had checked the references (they were all very good) and checked KM on Angie's list and decided to go for it. The salesman came back and I signed the contract and paid 10% down. A week later the person came to take precise measurements. He was also polite and professional. I then paid 40% more and was given an installation date for 2 1/2 weeks later. I got a phone call the Friday before the install was to begin and an instruction letter as to how to prepare for the job. The installer showed up on time and took 3 full days to complete the job (small kitchen). He too was polite and professional. He covered my fridge, sink and countertops which I was keeping, and moved the coverings so I could access my refrigerator every night. My stove had been moved and so was out of commission, but my microwave and toaster oven got me through. I went to work every day and left the installer to do his job. He cleaned up every day. I was actually astounded by his eye for detail. Every line was cut perfectly. No spot was left uncovered. He even made sure that all 30 of the door knobs (I decided to keep my existing flower pattern knobs) were facing the exact same direction. 2 doors were the wrong size, and the wrong knobs were sent. The correct items were sent overnight by Fedex and the installer came back on a Saturday to finish the job. Then I paid the balance on the job. I am very pleased with the finished result. It makes me feel good to have a nice kitchen again. I chose to keep the kitchen looking basically the same. The color and door pattern are a very close match to what I had. This time I know it will last. One more thing. I am am sensitive to chemicals and was concerned about the glue being used. There was very little odor from the glue and I had no reactions to it.

The carpenter was very good and professional BUT they never put on the proper cabinet slow automatic door closures on the cabinets as promised. They only put these closures on the drawers. They said I had to pay extra. This was different from what they originally promised. So more days off from work and extra money would have had to be paid.

We're happy with the final results. They were supposed to install a backsplash against the wall, but when they came to install the countertop they didn't bring the backsplash with them. They quoted the length of the job as 7-10 days and it ended up taking 3 weeks because somebody just forgot to bring it.

He launched into a 2 hour presentation even after I asked for a price right away. He just HAD to do the presentation. I think he figured he would wear us down with it. When it was over and we finally got a price I laughed. 11K for a very small kitchen with cabinets that would be refaced not new!! Then he went out to his car repeatedly for samples that I didn't really want to to see. He would not take no for an answer and even told me that if he left the "deal" would no longer be valid if we called back. Really? If I called you back to do an 11K job you wouldn't give me that $500 off again? Come on. He sat in our living room and continued to try to talk us into it even after he had to know we were not doing it for that price. I found the salesman to be a bit heavy handed and unprofessional. And I clearly thought the price was ridiculous. I'm not sure about the quality of any work they did for others.

We had Kitchen Magic come in to reface our existing cabinets, and after receiving the initial price quote, we were all set to have our cabinets redone by them. There was one concern the draftsman had while taking measurements so he had one of the installers come by to see if the work could actually be performed. As it turned out, the existing cabinets were custom made, and built in such a way, they could not be refaced at all. Kitchen Magic came back with another estimate to re-do the entire kitchen and we decided to take the plunge and do it. Boy are we glad we did. The manufacturing of the cabinets was top-notch and the installers were A+. They took as much care as possible not to make a mess, but being in a NYC apartment with no outdoor space, there was some level of dust in our apartment, but that was OK, and to be expected. The installation took a couple extra days past the original estimate, but the project manager was completely informative as to the reasons, and we were OK with it taking a little longer to ensure there were not mistakes. We highly recommend Kitchen Magic to you, and we would definitely use them in the future.

The technicians, that is the carpenter and the plumber were very clean and neat. They were very respectful and they would come in to do the work when it is convenient for us . Whenever there was an issue or a question, they would drop what they were doing and would address it for us. The whole company was very professional and once it was done and we called up for something, they were responsive. The work was done well and very professionally. They were great.

I do not like the "hard sell" and I do not trust any company that tries it no matter how good they profess their service to be! I will not ever use Kitchen Magic for anything. Even more disappointing is I brought in this company into my home due to it's association with a company I do trust, Costco.

Just for the record, my husband has the membership to Angies's List, but he was fully in favor of my writing the review. I have to say, the salesman was on-the-dot on time. Points for that. All we really wanted was to get an estimate for replacement of our countertops. I made the mistake of also asking for a GENERAL overview of what's involved in cabinet refacing, as we might like to do that at some point. That launched into an almost 2-hour "presentation". We absolutely did not need a history of the company, complete with slides. We didn't need to know about cabinet replacement and kitchen remodeling. My husband had to ask at least three times that we get to the Corian samples. Then the salesman had to go back out to the car to get them! Meanwhile, the snowstorm outside was picking up in intensity, and we had other errands to do that afternoon. There was no regard for our time; this guy was intent on giving us information that was of no interest, and he was going to say all of it. Once we found a color we liked, there was an offer of a significant discount if we signed a contract then and there. Who does that?!? The quoted price of about $8,400 would be higher if we waited any length of time. My husband told him point-blank that that was nonsense. If they wanted our business, the discount would stay in force. We would not be given an estimate for cabinet refacing unless we called back to have the "real" counter measurements taken. We needed another appointment with someone else to do that! As I write this on March 5th, we haven't heard boo from Kitchen Magic. Clearly, no one is interested. We were so put off by the hard sell and a price that knocked our socks off that we're going to check out some local showrooms and take our sweet old time in deciding this. I don't see Kitchen Magic being in the equation. By way of comparison, when we had our entire house recarpeted by Smart Carpet, the salesman was on time, he had all the samples with him at the door, he took measurements while we looked at the samples, and we had a detailed written estimate on the spot. All that took approximately an hour, which was what we were expecting with Kitchen Magic.

I would highly recommend this company. I LOVE my new kitchen, everyone was very professional and friendly!!!!

The sales rep was not very professional. Most shocking I was quoted $31,000 to re-face my kitchen cabinets!!!!

They did a great job. They were reliable. They were here when they said they were going to be here. I would use them again but I hope I don’t have to.
