Description of Work: They refaced my old, outdated kitchen cabinets. In so doing, they replaced all drawer boxes, hinges, refaced cabinet boxes first with very thin good quality plywood, and then with laminate to match doors and drawers. It looks like I have a new kitchen. Work was done in 3 days, the work area was left clean, and the installer was polite and efficient.

Description of Work: We refaced our entire kitchen, 98 doors and drawers as well as 60 feet of 12" crown molding. All pieces were perfect on arrival. The installers/carpenters did a fantastic job, showed up early and worked all day, sometimes late in order to keep schedule, which was finished on time. Work was beautiful. Job site was kept clean. The salesman who came to our home had a whole bunch of samples, colors, etc., making it an easy and pleasant undertaking considering the task. |I highly recommend and we will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: REFACED KITCHEN CABINETS AND BATHROOM VANITY. DID A GREAT JOB . SAID IT WOULD TAKE 5 DAYS AND IT DID! EVERYTHING THEY PROMISED WAS DONE AND DONE WELL. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR KITCHEN REFACING.

Description of Work: They came to my house for a consultation to reface my kitchen cabinets. I found their presentation professional, helpful and the quality of the cabinet doors excellent. The salesman had many suggestions for the improvements I wanted. In the end I did not use them because I thought the price was very high.

Description of Work: Basically, they quoted over the phone and was at a price level that was a non-starter. The person handling the call read from a script and was not engaged in the conversation. More to the point, any question I asked was met with the scripted answer.

Description of Work: The representative came to our place for quotation. His name was Ira. He was bit rude to us. The quotation they gave us for installing granite, the backsplash and the kitchen sink was three times than what we received from their competitors. Of course, we didn't give these guys business for that reason. Also, they only have 16 granite colors to choose from

Description of Work: They called within a week of our leaving our information at their Kiosk at the Source Mall. The person was very pleasant and we explained what we were looking to do which led to us scheduling an appointment. The day before the appointment we received a call and were asked a series of questions about our plans, etc. when I mentioned we had a contractor and construction was not started the gentleman on the phone told me they want the construction completed before they come out to visit and recommended we reschedule. I told them this was just a consultation appointment to view the product line and obtain pricing but the guy wouldn't budge so I cancelled them completely.

Description of Work: We called to have an estimate on what it would cost to reface and redo our kitchen. The woman from Kitchen magic was wonderful, lots of ideas, came on time and within a day of our request. We are probably not going to tear the kitchen apart till after the holidays but she gave us something to think about.

Description of Work: We contacted Kitchen Magic because of their reputation on Angie's List in hopes to have them re-do the kitchen in the house that we will be closing on in June 2012. While we do not yet own the home, our realtor AND the current homeowner and his family are perfectly fine with us coming in to get estimates for our upcoming projects (kitchen, flooring, painting...). Knowing full well that to order the materials for a kitchen remodel takes 6 weeks, we are trying to take advantage of the time we have before closing to get everything in order so that the materials/project could be ordered and completed before we actually move in. No emptying out an entire kitchen, no being without a functional kitchen for any length of time, no children under the contractors feet--seems like a good idea for all involved...HOWEVER Kitchen Magic REFUSED to even come out to look at the kitchen! They said that since we had not closed yet (although contract, attorney review, mortgage were all complete AND realtor and owners were absolutely fine with people coming in) they would not even come out to give us an estimate, plan, measurement-nothing. Would not even meet with us. Additionally, this decision was at the discretion of the salespersons supervisor, not any sort of company policy. What did they have to lose--only a potential $20000+ kitchen remodel. Their loss...

Description of Work: Is it 2012 or 1965? My husband and I are gathering estimates to have our kitchen redone, whether it be refacing the cabinets or installing entirely new ones. We contacted Kitchen Magic and they informed me that I was not qualified to hear their presentation, but would need my husband there with me as the decision maker. Needless to say, I was offended, but, against my better judgement, agreed to a Saturday appointment. The appointment wasn't for several Saturdays, which was frustrating since I'm available during the week as well. An hour before our scheduled appointment, Kitchen Magic canceled. Once again, they wanted to book an appointment several weeks out because they refused to come during the week if my husband wouldn't be there. At that point, we were done with them. We wanted an estimate done in a reasonable time frame, they refused to do it, and my husband, having complete faith in me to get the appropriate information, did not want to waste his rare free time on a weekend dealing with these people.

Description of Work: The island counter in our kitchen has developed two large cracks in the Corian. I first emailed Kitchen Magic's email provided on 'Angie's List', describing the task in detail, including counter dimensions. No one responded for a week or more. I then called them and they had no clue about my email. So I described the task on the phone and they agreed to have their person come to our home and assess the job and provide an estimate. They fixed a date. They called again a few days later to reconfirm the date and time, and again, the sales person on the phone asked for great detail on the job. I described it again, and included the counter dimensions for replacement. Today, another sales person called to confirm the timing once again! And then went on to ask details about the job - again!! When I described it, she flatly let me know that they would not be able to replace only one counter. They would do it only if it involved refacing cabinetry or doing a larger counter area. It's now about two weeks, an email and a few phone calls before they suddenly decided this job is too small for them. Very unprofessional.
