The waterproofing was done back in 2003. it has leaked within 10 months of the original work getting done. It has 3 times since then. He never came back out until the Better Business Bureau was able to get him to. It was a battle every time, so more water damage in the meantime. Guarantees the waterproofing in the area that was worked on for lifetime of the building regardless of who the owners is. The contract also states that if service is need, we will supply labor and materials. We also have a guarantee that if he can't fix re-waterproof he would refund all money paid. Recently, when I called him to come out and look at the basement he said it wasn't leaking. I said that it wasn't leaking because it wasn't raining. Now when I try to call him, he just hangs up on him. He last hung up on me today, 1/9/15. In the past when I was able to get him to come out and look at the problem. He will schedule with me and I will change my schedule to be home for him. Then the day off he will not show up, and call to cancel the day off.

Everything went beyond expectations. Joe and Adam were very courteous and very professional. We were told on the first day of work that it could be 3 days instead of the original 2 days we were told, however Joe and Adam stayed late and finished in the 2 days like promised.

Found this company, I think I checked Angie's List but it's been a pretty long time so I don't exactly remember, and decided to call for an estimate and set it up for 10/2/2010. We had 2 other larger companies come give estimates before this one and were very dis-satisfied with the cost projections and pushy sales tactics. Estimates from the other 2 companies ranged from $4000 to $19,000 for a one-wall drain up to a whole basement perimeter drain system!! Ridiculous!!!!!! By the time we got to Assured, I was pretty ready to go on the defensive and a bit cynical- but it turned out to be a positive experience. Dave Pearson, the owner, came to look at our basement for the initial estimate and was also part of the team of guys who did the installation. He was very friendly and casual during the estimate, assessing the situation after listening to me explain our issues. He suggested we install a drain on ONLY the back wall of our basement, where the water was penetrating, and possibly going a few feet up the side walls to be safe. Additionally, he was going to add a storm drain at the base of our Bilco steps, since we would get a lot of water down there during heavy rain, which would tie into the drain pipe leading to our sump pump resevoir-which he also replaced with a deeper, better constructed one than the wooden box we had previously. They would also reconstruct the concrete step at the bottom of the stairs where the new storm drain would be. The other companies tried to get us to do a whole lot more- telling us it was necessary! He didn't try to hard-sell us a huge job or use scare tactics about future problems to get us to sign up. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and made a few suggestions for add-ons, like replacing the existing sump-pump with a newer one with a battery backup (after the storms and power outages we've had the last few years- i wish i would've done that), but was not pushy or unpleasant when we decided to pass on the extras. He waived the down-payment, since we were scheduling the work for the near future (10/11/10), and we set up the date. They arrived punctually and got right to work. They were very good with taking care not to damage our property and did a nice, clean job with the drain. I had read horror stories about other companies damaging walls, cutting sheet rock and wall frames and leaving concrete splatter as well as damaging yards and property- but they were very clean and careful. I came down and checked on them frequently, to see the work in progress and watch out of curiosity. It took about a half day, and they were done. I even came downstairs at the end of the job to find one of his crew sweeping his way up and out of my bilco door stairs with a dustpan and hand broom! Before leaving, Dave explained a few quick things about the drain and what they did, as well as maintenance and what to expect. He also said his work was guaranteed, so to please call if there were any problems or water coming in and he would come fix it immediately. Well, it's been almost 3 years and we've been through the Halloween Nor-Easter in 2011 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and not a drop of water has come into our basement since! Thanks to Dave and his crew for the reasonable prices and quality work!!

We had work performed previously by Assured. It went very well, good price, excellent work. We called them back for an estimate for another job. I called on a Wednesday, explained what I needed, we set up a time for the following day. After 30 mins. when they did not show I called to let them know I needed to leave and perhaps I got the message wrong. Mr. Pearson claimed he did not recall the conversation and did not have his appt book in front of him. I asked if perhaps I had the wrong date and he again said and quot;I don't have my appointment book in front of meand quot;. Did not offer to get it, check, apologize - nothing. Very disappointed.

My wife and I are in the midst of a nightmarish experience with Assured Basement Waterproofing. We hired Assured Basement Waterproofing to install a basement waterproofing system in our home. Shortly after the crew arrived on the first day, they started digging a sump pit during which they opened up a sink hole beneath our home's foundation. The crew did not inform us of this sink hole. Instead, they attempted to hide it from us by filling the sink hole with dirt from another trench they dug in my basement that same morning. At the end of their first day, however, they caused the sink hole to collapse by allowing water to enter the sump pit while they were cleaning up. While examining their work that afternoon, I discovered the sink hole myself. I asked the crew foreman what had happened and he admitted that his crew had opened up the sink hole, tried to fill it in with dirt and then caused its collapse by allowing water to enter the sump pit. I immediately called and emailed the owner of Assured Basement Waterproofing, David Pearson, to inform him of my sink hole concerns. Mr. Pearson visited the jobsite the next morning, examined the sink hole, and promised that his crew would remediate the sink hole by filling it with wet concrete. Unfortunately, as Mr. Pearson later admitted in a voice message (but now conveniently denies), his crew never remediated the sink hole in any way. Worse, they installed a perforated sump pit liner over the sink hole. A perforated liner has holes in it which allow water diverted into the sump pit liner to flow directly into the ground beneath it. In this case, directly into the sink hole they opened while digging beneath our basement. I suspected that the sink hole might not have been remediated properly, so I communicated this to both the crew foreman and Mr. Pearson. I also requested that the sump pit be moved to another location in the basement. Clearly, I did not want water diverted into a sump pit located directly over a sink hole that had not been remediated as promised. Sadly, my verbal and emailed requests were ignored as they continued to push the lie that they had remediated the sink hole properly. Instead, all they did was cover over the bottom of the sump pit and sink hole with a thin layer of stone and then poured fresh concrete to replace the portion of our basement floor they had jack hammered out. At the end of that second day, the crew foreman wanted to test the sump pump he had installed. So he shoved a garden hose into the perforated sump pit liner - directly over the unremediated sink hole - turned on the water. The sump pit liner never filled with water and the sump pump never successfully turned on because the water was being continuously sucked directly into the unremediated sink hole. Despite seeing this with his own eyes and knowing that he had never remediated the sink hole, the crew foreman left the hose continuously running in the sump pit for approximately 15 minutes. As a result, the hundreds of gallons of water flowing through the perforated sump pit liner and into the sink hole finally aggravated the sink hole to such an extent that the stone and freshly laid concrete were sucked down into the earth beneath our home's foundation. I witnessed this second sink hole cave in and told the crew foreman that this was the outcome about which I had warned both him and Mr. Pearson. I now insisted that they move the sump pit and sump pump to another location in the basement. The crew foreman said he did not have the time to relocate the sump pit because he had another job starting the next day. Instead, he smoothed over the collapse with a thin layer of concrete and demanded payment. I refused payment until the job was completed as agreed. At this point, the sump pit was located directly over a sink hole which had just collapsed before our eyes and the sump pump had not had a successful test, yet the foreman still demanded payment. On the contrary, they had left us with a perforated sump pit diverting water directly into the sink hole they had opened up and left unremediated. When I refused payment until the sump pit was moved to another location, the crew foreman called Mr. Pearson and put me on the phone. Mr. Pearson screamed and cursed at me and accused me of 'trying to screw him'. When I tried to reason with Mr. Pearson in an even tone, he hung up on me. In the following days and weeks, I consulted with numerous sink hole remediation experts. All of them agreed that the sump pit should be moved and should never have been allowed to remain over a sink hole in the first place. Thus far, however, despite numerous email requests and reaching out to the Better Business Bureau to help arbitrate, Mr. Pearson has stubbornly refused to relocate the sump pit and pumps to the opposite corner of the basement. Mr. Pearson said that we are trying to blame him for the fact that the sink hole exists. He likes to say that he didn't put the sink hole there. But this is simply his manipulative attempt to dodge responsibility for the way he and his crew deceptively mishandled this entire situation. What's at stake is our home and our home's foundation. Mr. Pearson and his crew knowingly installed a perforated sump pit liner over a sink hole they promised to remediate but never did. They then poured hundreds of gallons of water into it until it collapsed. This is shockingly thoughtless negligence. Mr. Pearson should properly re-install the sump pit and pumps, and cure the problems he created through negligence, breach of contract and unworkmanlike conduct. Instead, Mr. Pearson continues to evade responsibility through deception, bullying and manipulation. Adding insult to injury, he then had his attorney place a Mechanic's Lien on our home. Mr. Pearson and his crew deceitfully mishandled the situation from the start. We expect nothing less than Mr. Pearson's response to this review to be filled with misinformation, lies and denials. If he follows the same tact he took with the Better Business Bureau, he will paint a picture of himself as someone who is reasonable and willing to do anything. However, the reality is the opposite. As a result, he chose to leave us with an incomplete job and a hazardous condition beneath our home's foundation. As for the Better Business Bureau, contacting them proved to be futile as well because Mr. Pearson refused to submit to their arbitration process as he had promised when he joined the Better Business Bureau. That was just another in a long line of deceitful maneuvers, broken promises and manipulative tactics by David Pearson and his company. Instead, he had his lawyer file a Mechanic's Lien against our home. The proper action for Assured Basement Waterproofing to take would have been to inform us of the sink hole immediately and either a) remediate it as they promised or b) halt their work progress to give the homeowner a chance to contact experts who could remediate it or c) relocate the sump pit and continue to install the basement waterproofing system. Mr. Pearson and his crew failed on all three points because they just wanted to get their money and hoped to be long gone by the time our foundation collapsed. Too bad for them I was standing right there when it all happened. Our experience with Assured Basement Waterproofing is an ongoing nightmare. Our advice would be to steer clear of Mr. Pearson and his company, Assured Basement Waterproofing.
Description of Work: Basement Waterproofing Disaster My wife and I hired Assured Basement Waterproofing to install a basement waterproofing system in our home. Two separate sump pits were to be excavated in the floor of our home's concrete foundation along with a 12" wide trench along the foundation walls. A double redundant sump pump system was then to be installed in each sump pit. While digging the first sump pit, the crew opened up a sink hole beneath our home's foundation. Instead of reporting this sink hole to us, they attempted to cover it up. When we discovered the sink hole on our own after the end of their first day of work, we immediately informed David Pearson, the owner of Assured Basement Waterproofing. Mr. Pearson viewed the sink hole the next morning and promised to remediate it and continue with the job. Instead, his crew took no action to remediate the sink hole and instead recklessly installed a perforated sump pit liner directly over the sink hole. In the process of trying to test the sump pumps, his crew shoved a garden hose into the perforated sump pit liner that they knew was directly over an unremediated sink hole and proceeded to pour hundreds of gallons of water into the sink hole they opened up. This water flowed directly into the sink hole and caused it to collapse. This second sink hole collapse sucked the layer of stone and concrete they covered over it with into the earth beneath our home's foundation in front of our very eyes. We witnessed this second sink hole collapse and insisted that the sump pit be moved to another location in our basement. Mr. Pearson refused to relocate the sump pit, demanded payment and then screamed and cursed at us. Since then Mr. Pearson has deceptively evaded all attempts we have made to resolve this situation. He even reneged on his pledge to allow the Better Business Bureau to arbitrate this dispute. Instead, he hired an attorney and filed a Mechanic's Lien against our home. Mr. Pearson left us with a "basement waterproofing system" which, everytime it rains, diverts rain water into a perforated sump pit liner located directly over a growing sink hole which Mr. Pearson and his crew left unremediated beneath our home's foundation.

Dave Pearson has been one of the most professional contractors I've dealt with. He provided an estimate prior to starting the work and his final costs were exactly as he had promised. He was able to repair a long, vertical crack in the basement wall and since the repair, I've had no issues with water leakage into the basement, even after heavy rains. He installed the sump pump as well, which is also working without any issues.

It did not go at all. My husband called to set up an appointmen on Monday 1/16/12. He left a message. His phone call was returned the next day and he made an appointment for 2pm on 1/17/12 because the guy Dave could not make the evening hours. My husband called me at work to be home by 2pm. I left work, got home at 1:57pm. I waited until 2:30 pm and went back to work. No one showed, no one called. On Thursday I came home from work and found a business card in my mailbox. No message just a card. I really would have liked to get a quote for services based on some of the good reviews that I read but not sure if I would want to deal with a company that is not responsive to new business. This could be a sign of things to come if I were actually a customer. I am not saying the company is bad or good. Honestly, I do not know. I just wish I could have found out.

We are pleased with their work, their responsiveness, and their pricing.
Description of Work: The owner came and gave us suggestions on things we could do ourselves as well as recommending what we needed to have done professionally to prevent further basement flooding. He seemed experienced, very knowledable, and honest. They came as scheduled a few days later to install a secondary sump pump, cut into the concrete and install a floor drain over an original French drain that we did not know was there, then cut into the floor next to the pump pit to locate the pipe from the french drain and reroute it into the pump pit where it should have been in the first place.

Called Assured Bsmnt Wtrprfing - Dave Pearson owner - the morning of 9/21/2011 to make appointment. Re-called in evening as he hadn't called me back. Appointment made for Friday 9/23/2011 at 10:00 AM. Friday morning 30 min before appointment Dave Pearson called me to say he had and quot;4 flat tiresand quot; and couldn't make it. OK - - it could happen. Rescheduled for Saturday 9/24/2011 at 1:00PM. 1:00 - No Dave. Called him a few minutes after 1:00 to see if he was running late. No answer. Called him again at 1:45 - - no answer. Four people had to re-arrange their schedules for this man, only to have him not show up. How totally unprofessional. I chose to call this business because he had an and quot;Aand quot; rating on Angie's List. Today, as I signed in to leave this report, I noticed he has three and quot;Fand quot; ratings within the last week, since I last checked. Perhaps he has gotten busy due to the recent amount of rain. . but Gees! Tell me that! Don't make appointments and not show up. That is soooo unprofessional. And to not even call is unforgivable. This is 2011, not 1898. Everyone has a cell phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Description of Work: No work done. . . .He never showed up and never called to explain. Totally stood me up. Four people re-arranged schedules for this man, and I missed half my daughter's tournament to make this appointment ( which he had already re-scheduled once.) NO SHOW - - NO CALL.

I called and left messages with Mr. Pearson two times over the last 3 weeks requesting an estimate. I never received a call back. I emailed the company through Angie's List a couple of days ago stating I called several times and would like a call back for an estimate. So far still no call back. I realize many of these waterproofing contractors are busy with the recent storms but not calling a potential customer back is most unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company. Assured was recommended by a relative so I did not seek out any other contractors at the time. I have since found two other contractors on Angies List and both have called me back immediately. Even if Assured Basement Waterproofing calls me back (after three attempts to contact them) I will not use their services.

Description of Work: I am very happy with the way Assured Basement Waterproofing did the job of installing a sump pump in my basement. Work was done in a timely manner and was done professionally. They had to cut the concrete to make the hole bigger and installed the pump. The hole is at the back of my house but the pitch of the lawn outside is towards my house. They recommended to bring the pipe out of the front where the pitch is away from the house.

"Assured Basement Waterproofing GUARANTEES: Against water accumulation in the area worked on for the life of the structure, regardless of who owns it. If service is needed we supply all labor and material. If we can't rewaterproof, we will refund all money paid for work done." With our power fully intact, the basement started flooding (water visibly pouring in through the floor and where the floor and walls meet). David Pearson assessed the situation and said we needed another pit and pump and that we would have to pay for. After numerous conversations discussing the meaning of his "guarantee" he refuses to stand by his printed and signed word.
Description of Work: "Install 168 feet of footing drains using 3" perforated PVC pipe, layed in custom deep-pitched trenches. Bottom, sides and top of pipe covered by 3/4"clean cracked stone. Bleeders are drilled in every core of the bottom foundation block in contact area. New cement to be layered with steel trowel finish. Choice of drain core between the wall and floor, known as a floating floor, instead of floating floor Sinter flashing. Connect system to one new, 16" wide x 26" deep perforated polypropelene sump pit, with cover, 2 new 1/3 h.p. submersible sump pumps, one radon ventilation connection. Owner to have work area cleared at least 6 ft. from walls, and contents covered from dust. We are to remove & reinstall oil tank. We haul away all job related debris....To include a battery back-up sump pump."

Response from ASSURED BASEMENT WATERPROOFING
The system that was installed is functioning perfectly. The problem is that the customer described a less severe problem than they actually have. Two pumps have more than enough capability for the problem they described. Two more pumps will handle the record breaking rainfalls that we are currently getting. If it will help them out, I am willing to install the additional pumps at my cost. In regards to the complaint made by the member, I would like to say that her interpretation of my Guarantee is a little off. The footing drains are guaranteed for the life of the structure. The sump pumps are now over five years old. As far as I am aware, there have been no problems until now except for a power failure shortly after the system was installed. And at that time, I was able to loan her a generator. Also at that time, I received a card from her thanking me. The system has been working as intended for over five years, and is still in perfect working order. It has held up under many heavy rain falls. It even help up under record breaking rain in August and early September. It was only after an earthquake shook the east coast that the basement now gets more water than the pumps can handle. There is no need to replace the system. If the member prefers to now work with another company, so be it. But it will not be funded by me. The member thinks I should install additional pumps at no cost to her. I feel that she should pay for additional work. I have offered to install the additional pumps at my cost, but only is she retracts her complaints. The complaints to Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau are nothing more than legal extortion. Her unwillingness to work with me does not warrant a full refund. Sincerely Assured Basement Waterproofing Dave Pearson Owner

They arrived on time, worked diligently, had all the right equipment and materials, were respectful of our home where they had to pass through, and cleaned up after the job was done.
Description of Work: Repaired several foundation seams that had been leaking with heavy rainfall. The seams were opened up -- wider on the inside -- and then filled with hydraulic cement, troweled smooth and then covered with a synthetic board material that would direct any subsequent leakage (which seems highly unlikely) into the french drain and rather than into the basement.

Do's ASK WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE THEY ARRIVE. When I got the estimate I asked what they needed me to do before they started the project. I was informed that they would need appoximately 6 feet of space from the wall to work. I made sure that there was nothing in their way, as well as we covered any items in the the basement with cheap plastic drop cloths. This made their working process much easier and neater. ASK WHERE THEY NEED TO RUN THEIR EXHAUST FAN, WATER ACCESS AND DEBRIS REMOVAL TO AND FROM. When I accepted their bid we discussed the removal of all debris as well as an access point for them to bring in water, gravel and the cement. We also discussed where they needed to run their exhaust fan too. By discussing these needs we were ready when they arrived. All we had to do was open the windows so that they could start work. OBSERVE THE JOB AS THEY WORK AND DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS. I learned quite a lot by observing them work as well as having a better understanding of my water problem. I asked questions about things I noticed about the lifting of the paint on the walls above the water problem. I was given good advise on how to clean up the paint as well as what not to waste my money on (Dry-Lok Basement Water Proof Paint) due to both the cost as well it not working when covering older paint already on the wall. Over all my experience with company was outstanding. They were polite, extremely hard working, they were careful with our flower beds and lawn (which they had to work on), but most of all they did a total clean up after the job was done. They left nothing behind, not a scrap of plastic, no cement residue, no dirt on the floor, nothing. They finished in one day (as they stated), they did not resort to find things to add to the cost of the project, and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. If you work with them to establish what work you need to have done, and listen to what they reqiure of you when arrive to do the work, You will have a project that will be done on time, neatly, and correctly.
Description of Work: Had water coming into our basement. Had a French Drain and sub pump put in to stop the water from running into the basement. They ripped up a two foot wide trench the length of our one wall (38 feet) that had the leak. As well as an additional three feet on each end of the trench a long the a joining walls. The crew arrived on time. They started laying out the necessary equipment and went right to work. After the ripped up the floor and shoveled out the trench, they hauled out all of the debris and swept up any remaining dirt. They then proceeded to pour gravel into the trench before laying the pipe for the drain. Again they swept up. They proceeded to install the piping for the drain and cover the pipe with more gravel. They drilled holes along the length of the trench approximately every three inches apart. Again, they swept up and hosed the floor down. After installing the plastic sheeting that covers approximately 3 inches up the wall and 6 inches into the trench they poured and smoothed out concrete along the trench. Installed the container for the sub pumps and hooked up the drainage to the outside.

Dave from Assured Basement did an extremely professional job on both. His original quote was the same as the final price, so there were no surprises. He also provided guidance on solving a few other issues. The work was completed in one afternoon and Dave's crew thoroughly cleaned up the work area as well. I have not had heavy rain since then, so cannot comment on the working effectiveness of the sump pump, but the work was completed in a professional way.

The project went very well. The team arrived exactly on time and in no time were getting down to work. They put down tarps to protect our floors as they came in and out of the house, and most of the materials were brought through the basement window, to keep foot traffic in and out of our house to the bare minimum. They worked efficiently and professionally. They removed all debris generated from the installation of the drain, and they took down and reinstalled some shelving that needed to be out of the way in order for them to complete their job. Our only responsibility was to make sure that they had 6 ft. clearance around the perimeter of the basement areas in which they needed to work, and to cover the things we had stored downstairs from dust. Since the installation of the french drain and sump pump we have had some steady rain and I'm happy to report no water pooling on the floor of our basement. We are satisfied with the work done for us by Assured Basement Waterproofing, and we feel as if they charged us a fair price for the work that was done.

I was impressed with Dave Pearson from the time he came and gave his professional opinion as what was needed to be done. When he and his crew arrived to do the job they were on time and did an excellent job in every aspect of the installation. They were very careful with every thing they did. Originally they were going to run the sump pump discharge line out foundation and underneath my deck to discharge the water. Dave Pearson came up with a much better solution to handle the discharge water by going out of the side of the foundation and connecting to the rain down spout underground connection. The installation is perfect!
Description of Work: Installed a channel drain and sump pump to handle water from a Bilco cellar door intallation.

We called to have him come to check our stone foundation in the basement. It is in need of repair or possible replacement. We never received a call or email back from him.

Response from ASSURED BASEMENT WATERPROOFING
The member left a message for me stating that he had a cracked foundation and wanted to have someone come out and determine if is cracked foundation was due to the road construction near his home, and if I could make that determination to call him. I felt that he should have called a structural engineer to make that determination and did not return his call. In hindsight maybe I should have called him to tell him I could not help him?

Mr. Pearson, owner, came with his son and two other workers. They provided their own ventilation and covers to keep the work area and access route clean. The entire job took only a couple of hours. The jack hammering was noisy, but tolerable. The drain area was filled with cement and the area of the wall that was cracked was cemented and covered with a waterproofing plate. The entire area was clean and neat when the work was finished. Other than the crack being covered and the wet cement on the floor, there was no indication that anything had been done. We were very satisfied with the work and the outcome.
Description of Work: Filled crack in basement wall and dug into basement floor to provide a drain for any water that may come into the basement.

The work crew arrived at about 10:00. They were scheduled to arrive at 9:00 but were delayed because of bad road conditions. Mr. Pearson called ahead and said that they would be about an hour late. When they arrived they put down drop cloths to avoid getting dirt or stains on our carpet. Jackhammering the cement was noisy, but we encountered no other problems. The entire project took about 4.5 hours. Mr. Pearson had to go to a local hardware store for supplies but didn't charge us anything for the time or the purchase itself. We paid what was written in his original quote. I think the price was more than fair. We haven't seen the new setup in action yet, but we are very hopeful that we now have a dry basement.
Description of Work: Mr. Pearson and his crew placed a drainage pipe from a leaky spot in our basement, enlarged and enclosed the sump hole and installed a new sump pump. They also revised the pipe that carries the water out of the house and into our garden so that it drains away from the foundation. They were very professional and made almost no mess. The finished job looks great. We plan on putting new flooring down as soon as we are sure the basement stays dry. The work itself is guaranteed for the life of the house, no matter who owns it.

Owner/estimator/contractor is very knowledgeable, low pressure, professional. Work was done w/ minimal amount of upheaval to rooms. Workers were also polite and professional, courteous (took out my flower bulbs to have window access to the basement and replanted them). Work was done as promised; additional work had to be done with agreement due to additional needs. When first truly torrential rain came, drain is absolutely working as promised and we have a dry basement for the first time since we moved into this home in 1980. Cost of work is 1/3 of what franchise "dry basement" companies wanted for same approach.
Description of Work: Installed a French drain throughout the basement floor, new sump pump. Had to dig a trench around the perimeter of the basement, rip up the floor and the lower part of the walls.

Dave and his team did a great job in very short time. They arrived at about 9 AM and were here until 3:30 in the afternoon. Great job, a little dusty left in the basement, but highly recommend. I offered lunch for the guys, but they all declined; just wanted to get the job done.
Description of Work: I live in a townhouse with only 2 exposed walls (middle unit). Needed 2 sump pumps installed and a total of 65 linear feet jackhammered out and pipes installed.

Dave Pearson personally came out and gave me what turned out to be a firm estimate. The price he quoted me was the price I paid. Dave and his crew arrived promptly at the set time and began working immediately. They broke through my concrete floors with jackhammers and then removed all debris. They then laid the drain pipe and covered it with crushed rock. In front of my garage they installed a channel grate to keep water out. They also dug a new sump pit, and filled my old one with concrete, as well as filled the trenches they dug with concrete. All debris was removed from the premises by his crew-not one stone was left, or any dust. Dave is excellent to do business with. He has since done five more jobs for members of my family. Dave was CONSIDERABLY less in price than others, especially a national waterproofer that hails from the Mid Atlantic area ($16,000 less!). BTW, I get absolutely NO water in my basement; gotta love it!
Description of Work: Our basement & garage would flood every time it rained and we had to have an interior perimeter drain installed. The job included breaking up the concrete, laying drain pipe, covering with rock, digging a sump pit, installing sump pump, laying new concrete, and digging an exterior trench for the exit pipe.
