+ -1 moreTerrible they charged me for digging when I did the work with my tractor. Then I said I wouldn’t use them again since they still charged me hundreds of dollars for 45 min time...(20 min of me digging) one of the owners said “good the feeling is mutual in fact don’t call us to come out because we won’t.” Nothing was needing fixed once they opened the tank.

Description of Work: Poor communication and an astronomically high bill a job that should have taken days took months I have been using them for years but never again!!

+ 0 moreThey were just great and they were on time. They couldn't have been any nicer and they're more than reasonable. They came back a week later to clean the tank. They called me and they make sure of things. I've been using them for 35 years. They're really good.

+ -1 moreThese folks were great. Very helpful, informative and adept. I did not know up front what the total of my bill would be, but Mr. Arnold ballparked a figure and he wasn't far off. He delivered what I requested and I would use him again.
Description of Work: installed a new water tank in my pump room. Also had to provide correct fittings, gauges, etc.

+ -1 moreThey are expensive. They were pretty good to me, but I have a friend who told me a horror story. They were always pretty good because I have used them for a number of times. Their price is quite high. They first replaced the faucet as well as washer and then a month ago, they had to come back again to do the same work. I wonder what they did wrong for the first time.

Description of Work: I had a softplug in my sewer drain from flushable wipes(Cottonelle). I ask to have the problem diagnosed by electric eel and to use a video drain camera for verification of clean drain. First visit (540 dollars) did not solve problem. I was left with the idea that using the toilet would wash out the soft plug. Two weeks later the sewer was not functioning. Called for second visit and men came within a day. The same crew of two came with yet a different drain cleaning device know as a high pressure jet(Why not the first time?) I worked with the crew side-by-side trying to assist in getting the problem resolved (being insistent on trying different techniques. Finally after two hours the drain was clean and scoped with the video camera. Problem FIXED. Received bill within two days for ~600 + dollars. The major complaint is that there were no line items of time spent, equipment used; initial charge or any discount on having to come back after not fixing the original problem of a soft plug. I quess they feel that because they are plumbers they can charge what ever they want without showing on the bill a line item listing of time at site, etc.. I was satisfied with the final outcome but disappointed with how people can charge anything they want and way over estimated cost. Arnold's Plumbing will not get another call from me! Sad in Sarver

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied and I would hire them again. It is getting harder to find plumbers that deal with private wells and they do. I couldn't compare their price because I couldn't find anyone else who would provide that service.
Description of Work: L Arnold & Sons Inc replaced a pressure tank for the well and did some associated plumbing about a year and a half ago.

+ -1 moreFinally a local good plumber. Using another guy as most of our property is in PGH or oakmont. My house is in Natrona HTS and I could not be happier about having them complete work. Greg Jr showed up with helper and I went and had my hair cut - thats how much I trust this company. Good people good rates and I look forward to eventually all of my business going to them. Drain is wide open and clear.

+ -1 moreGreg Sr showed up and is a great people person who answered my questions. Walked me out to where aprox shut off should be in 4inches of snow and ice - extra effort. Stated I have a galvanized line and it may or may not hold pressure then explained what I would need to do if the meter does not hold up. I was very happy with the work completed.
Description of Work: Bought a Foreclosure property where someone cut all the plumbing lines out. Needed to have ball valve bushings, niples, pressure regulator Valve and dual check valve installed so that the water company could come turn on the water.
