+ -1 moreMr. Hower promptly made an appointment to assess what we needed, gave us an estimate ($800-$1200) and told us when he could do the work. He did the work when he said he would, it took less time than he estimated, and the finished price was $900. We were impressed with his skill and workmanship. Everything was done well, including cleanup. We feel fortunate to have found him to do the needed repairs.
Description of Work: brickwork repointed on a porch and chimney; repair to block wall; replace stucco on small walls

+ 0 moreWe had masonry work done and the person who did it was Herman Hower Jr Masonry. He's really good. He did it in September. It was really recent. He has done work for us before, but this is the latest thing.
Description of Work: They did masonry and pressure washing service. He, around the outside of the house, the masonry paint was falling off and he power washed the old off and put new stucco on after.

+ -1 morePerfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Showed up every day as he said he would (weather permitting) and worked the entire day aside from a lunch break.
Description of Work: Partial teardown and replacement of stone/concrete retaining wall on bank of old bank barn. He installed proper drainage piping to prevent water from building up behind said wall. Also, re-pointing of stone on same bank barn.
