The result of the work was a 50% decrease in air leakage in the house. The third floor is now much more comfortable, as is the basement. Given the age and size of the house, we can never get 100% reduction in air leakage, but this has been a vast improvement. An earlier (2008) simple job from Casey involved just throwing some loose insulation around in the knee walls and that job had been pretty much useless.
Description of Work: As measured by a detailed energy audit analysis, we had a huge amount of air leakage in our big Victorian (1900) home, particularly in areas surrounding the third floor. Frank outlined various approaches and we focused on the use of spray in foam for the 3rd floor knee walls as well as the band joists in the basement. Frank had to build 6 access doors in the 3rd floor walls and prepare the bases of the knee walls for spray in closure. That took about 4 days of work and the spray foam work took a day.

Worked performed as stated on contract. Frank Ross was professional and explained his work. He was punctual, and left my place clean and free of any debris.
Description of Work: Insulated (blow in fiberglass) and sealed attic. Air sealed gaps with spray foam in an area of garage. Contractor provided labor, material, and equipment.
