 + -1 moreGREG YURKOVICH THE ROOFER SEEMED VERY PROMPT AT FIRST. AFTER HE WAS ALMOST FINISHED WITH THE DOWN SPOUT, HE DISAPPEARED. HE WOULD NOT RESPOND TO PHONE CALL AFTER PHONE CALL. WE SENT HIM A REGISTERED LETTER IN AUGUST HE FINALLY CALLED THE END OF AUGUST 2004. THE LETTER SAID TO FINISH THE JOB OR RETURN OUR MONEY. HE HAS NOT DONE EITHER. I REPORTED HIM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
Description of Work: HE WAS CONTRACTED TO DO 4 SEPARATE ROOFING TASKS: 1)DOWNSPOUT $175.00 2) MAIN ROOF GUTTERS $350.00 3) BACK TIN ROOF $250.00 & 4)REPAIR & PAINT FRONT ROOF $600.00 WE GAVE A $700.00 DOWNPAYMENT (OF A $1325 TOTAL). WHEN HE STARTED THE JOB (SEPT. 2003) HE WAS HERE AND IMMEDIATELY REPAIRED THE DOWNSPOUT AS IT HAD CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY KITCHEN COUNTER. HOWEVER HE NEVER PAINTED IT, & IT IS STILL BARE METAL. SO OF THE $700.00 DOWNPAYMENT, HE HAS ALMOST COMPLETED THE $175.00 JOB. WE GAVE HIM THE OPTION OF COMPLETING THE WORK BY AUGUST 27, 2004 OR RETURN OUR MONEY, THE REMAINDER OF THE DOWNPAYMENT ($525.00). HE SAID HE WOULD RETURN THE MONEY. HE HAS NOT. I REPORTED HIM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
