Choice Pools & Hardscapes

The workmanship was terrible and the customer service was even worse. Choice pools installed a gray concrete pad that looked like a sidewalk next to a brown aggregate pool deck. In addition to a poor color choice, the quality of work was unacceptable. The pad is uneven with large extra globs of concrete on top, has rough edges and a large indentation in the center where water pools. They damaged some of the surrounding concrete and also left a mess of extra concrete in my yard. When I contacted the owner to complain, instead of coming out to view the job, I was told that I could pay to have it torn up and replaced at a cost of $600 more than the original job.

The job was done fabulously, our yard was completely transformed! We are impressed with the end result and you would never guess you were in PA - I feel like I am at a resort in my backyard. They were wonderful to work with and did absolutely everything from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with their work. They were on time, they kept the work area clean, they were honest, good with kids and pets around. They were very pleasant and courteous to work with which is important since they are in your yard every day! We had a quick deadline of just a few weeks to get a lot done before throwing an outdoor party and they worked hard and completed everything on time (worked extra to make up for time lost with bad weather). We also feel they were priced fair for considering the quality work they did and value that was added to our home. We had them build a pool with a stone waterfall/fountain that is beautiful. They built a fire pit that has been great to use on summer nights. They built a great concrete outdoor bar (decorated as a tiki hut). Everyone has really enjoyed all the great additions to the new yard and are impressed with the work. They also did the landscaping, put up the fence, and even built a stone mailbox that we desperately needed. We would absolutely choose to work with Choice Pools again and recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool or for any other outdoor concrete or landscape work.

I could not be happier with the finished product Choice Pool provided. The entire project from beginning to end went seamlessly. Joe, the owner and his crew are an amazing team. Every aspect of our project was completed in a timely manner and was handled professionally. Choice Pool is a full service provider and can quickly take your backyard to an outdoor oasis. Choice pools not only installed our pool, hot tub and automatic cover but also the concrete decking, retaining wall and fencing in approx. 3 weeks. I would not hesitate to recommend Choice Pools to anyone. I researched 4 other pool companies before deciding to go with Choice Pools. Not only was Choice Pools the most reasonably priced, their workmanship and design is superior to other local pool installers.

I had called Choice pools to receive an estimate of several projects we wanted done in our backyard. When I talked to them on the phone they were very nice and courteous. They showed up on time for their appointment at our house to go over ideas and come up with an estimate. Again, they were very nice and actually were at our house for 2 hours making a drawing of what our backyard would look like with all the jobs completed. It was a big job, as we had several projects we needed completed. We were told it would take about 2 weeks for the and quot;price sideand quot; of the estimate. I waited a month, and I called since we had not heard back. I talked to the individual on the phone and he was confusing me with someone else, stating that they were so busy. After remembering our backyard, I was informed the estimate would be completed by the end of the week. I waited two weeks and still nothing. I called back again and left a message with no one ever calling me back to this day. It now has been about 6 months and we have no estimate. This whole ordeal was a complete waste of time. I would never do business with this company due to their lack of professionalism.

They were originally suppose to come out in October last year but the weather was starting to get bad so they said they would prefer to do it in the Spring. They said they would get back to us in the Spring and they never did so we called them around May 15th and still haven't heard anything from them and it has been 2 weeks since we called.
