WINDSTREAM COMMUNICATIONS

Description of Work: I had a landline installed along with a wireless network for my laptop and desktop computers. Phone installation went well. However when it came time to setup the network the technician could not get the desktop computer to communicate with the wireless router. The laptop install went on without a problem. He told me he didn't know how to troubleshoot the PC and then said he had other appointments and left me sitting high and dry without the internet service that was the main reason for getting a landline in the first place. He offered no suggestions to remedy my situation. I spent over 8 hours trying to track down information to fix the problem and was finally able to gain access to the network the next day. The ultimate fix was actually rather simple. When I had a similar service installed at my last place of residence (In another state) with the same desktop computer and operating system but through another telecommunications company the tech who performed the install never left my home until ALL computers were up and running. When he encountered a problem he wasn't familiar with he made a phone call and got the answers he needed to fix the problem. The Windstream technician did call the help desk when HIS laptop was having problems communicating with the router but when it came to my hardware I was left on my own to fix it.
