Jim Witt is the roofer. He was excellent in every aspect of his service. He promptly returned all of our calls. He is very professional and friendly. His prices are extremely fair and reasonable. He arrived early on the scheduled day with a great crew of workers and finished the job that day. The clean-up was perfect. And the roof looks great! He was recommended to us and we would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a new roof.

It did not go well. The very first rain we had after he installed it, we experienced a leak. The leak damaged the logs inside the home and the whole ceiling. He came out numbers of times to repair it but was never successful. He blamed everything and everybody but himself. At first he blamed it on defective shingles. Then he blamed the manufacturer on not working with him. Our insurance adjuster however stated there was no problems with the shingles. He said the roofer did not use long enough nails and they were coming loose therefore causing the leaks. Continental then gave me an estimate for $8000.00 to put on another roof when I had already paid $35000.00 for it the first time! I ended up hiring another roofer who put on a roof for about $5200.00. I would never use this company again.
