VLD Electric

When first scheduling, I was told they'd be there between 8 and 12. I don't live there, so I needed at least 30 minutes advance notice when they'd arrive. They gave me 40 minutes notice which was great. They identified a location for the switch and cleaned up afterwards. This was my third time using VLD and I'm always satisfied.

The process went very well. The technician came with his apprentice. I explained to him that I was doing a kitchen remodel and needed to reroute the refrigerator from one wall to the other, move the dishwasher from one side of the sink to the other, and keep the stove in the same area. Previously on one side of the wall, the refrigerator and stove with range hood were next to each other. The technician was able to reroute the electrical wire for the dishwasher from the right side of the sink to the left side and added a GFCI outlet in place. Now, the placement of the refrigerator is on the right side where the dishwasher used to be. For the stove, the electrical outlet was moved about 9-10 inches to the left for the future placement of new upper wall and base cabinets on that area of the wall. He closed off the outlets where the refrigerator and range hood used to be and added wiring for the future placement of an above cabinet microwave oven. The technician explained everything he doing. I felt very comfortable and confident in the work he and his apprentice performed. He was very knowledgeable and patient with electrical questions I presented to him. I am very pleased and will definitely use this provider for all my electrical needs.

I lost power in half of my house and called this company to resolve the problem. They arrived and were punctual. They did not waste any time and checked the electric panel. It turned out that the problem was on the outside of the house and was the responsibility of the electric company. No actual work was done. It was a standard evaluation of the electric panel. They were professional and I would use them again.

The advertised cost to hang a new ceiling fan was $99. The cost to replace a sensor was $200. The service was both professional and punctual, but quite expensive for the simple task.

After complecting their part of the electrical installtion of the contract. I asked if they were able to install an additional outlet in my deck. After installing the additional outlet and obtaining their fee( Of $95.00) they departed without testing the outlet. I attempted to turn on my T.V,set in my connecting room. I had no power, several attempts were made to correct the problem( to no avail.) The installer from Premier care had some electrical knowlledge and examined the situation and found that the wires were incorrectly installed. Had it been for him discovering and correcting the problem, I could have had a fire caused by their faulty installation.Vito was contacted regarding the above complaint. The only response I received from him was a negative attitude and no resolution pertaining to my situation. I presented my problem and situation to "Premier care in bathing"and was told that they would discuss my concerns with V.L.D.and attempt to obtain a refund for sevices not rendered.

Vito came on 8/27/215 early morning and began installing the circuit box for the generator. His crew were very efficient and polite.They knew what they were doing and they did it well. I would use this company many times over. Great job Guys. You are the best. The price was fair for everything that was done. Thank You Russ and Yvette

Vito, the owner, and an assistant did all the work. They were on time, did a fabulous job of finding and fixing my problem, something which a previous electrician I had did not do. They were very knowledgeable and professional, and they were much less expensive than a quote given to me by my previous electrician for the dedicated air conditioner line. I was VERY satisfied and will use VLD in the future for anything I need having to do with electricity. I would endorse and recommend them to all my friends and family!

I used the $99 special offer from Angie's list and called VLD Electric on July 1. We chose them because they were the closest service provider to our house (as shown on the Angie's map) and they had the highest number of "A" ratings. The price seemed reasonable also. We agreed they would come by in the morning of July 7. Installer showed up at approx 9:30 on 7/7 and went right to work. He was pleasant and professional. He pointed out that the pole used to hang the old ceiling fan would need to be replaced with a thicker one due to the new fan's requirements. When I got the new pole, he installed it efficiently along with the new fan and a remote control. Job was completed before 10:30. We are very satisfied, and will call on them again when in need of professional electric services.

Very pleased with their work. Stood behind possibly defective bulbs they installed with the units, (2 blew out within the day). Refunded amount of all of the bulbs, (7) instead of just the defective ones. Friendly and professional

Another provider diagnosed my electrical problem and determined that I needed to replace the main switch in my electrical panel box. I made an appointment with VLD Electric requesting they replace the main switch. Vito (VLD Electric) came out, looked at my panel box and said I did not have replace the main switch. As a precaution, vito and his assistant ran a diagnostic test on my wiring system. They could have replaced the main switch and charged me hundreds of dollars to do so. I would have never known the difference. You get an A+ for integrity

That was good. They were punctual and friendly. I had no problem with them. There was no additional cost for that.

VLD provided me with an estimate which I agreed to. Once the work was completed I was discounted two hundred dollars. After services were completed VLD discounted $200. I was very excited to save the extra money. The electric technicians came on time and remained in my house until the job was completed. The technician didn't even take a break for lunch. The technicians even taught me how to do simple task around the outside the house. They were very social with me which made the day go by fast. The work was done over a year ago and I have no complaints. Everything works very well. I defintly will recommend VLD for all your electrical needs.

They couldn’t hang the chandelier due to our ceiling not being strong enough so they only put in the surge protection. I ended up paying $170 extra and was surprised about the extra expense when they only did one job. They had two guys there but only one was doing the job.

I called on a Monday and they came to perform service that Wednesday. I originally requested a programmable thermostat, but found out that a special order was needed due to the wattage of my system. I told them it wasn't necessary so just had a basic one installed. It was no problem. They had one already and adjusted the price accordingly. Quick and professional. Answered all my questions. Couldn't ask for anything more.

It was a coupon. The person they sent out seemed very knowledgeable. He did well with the work but I don't think it was a full two hours. He spent time doing paper work and he came after 10 O'clock. I was satisfied with the outcome.

It was great , and not to say more, going to have them put a generator in, gen an all electric that goes with it

I already sent in the paper work that the electrician gave to me. He was courteousy, professional,and informative. He had his apprentice with him and explained to the young man everything as he went along.

I used this company for a previous service. I did not understand the language in the fine print that stated this is only a one use purchase. I wish I was notified sooner of the confusion. The first experience was great.

Vito himself came and informed my of what the situation was and my options. He was very professional, precise, and personable. He cleaned up after himself and did the tasks I requested. He made me feel at ease and I trusted him and his work.
