 + -1 moreThey inspected my car on a very short notice. I called them in the morning, they had me come in the afternoon and completed the job. They put a sticker on my windshield with the date & mileage for me to bring my car back for an oil change and tire rotation, which I found very helpful to maintain my car performance.
Description of Work: They performed the yearly inspection on my car and an oil change.

Description of Work: Currently I have two cars that don't work (went within a few days of each other) and my daughter lent me her car but it needed new tires. She purchased the tires on tire rack and I brought them down to Alternate Tire and Auto service. I normally went across the street to Kost but my last few visits for auto work I felt there was a decline in professionalism so I decided to give this auto shop a shot on the advice of my daughter and discuss the problems I have had with my own cars. They changed my tires quickly and didn't seem bothered that I supplied my own, as opposed to buying from them (which was an issue I had w/Kost). While I have not fixed my cars yet, I did spend a large amount of time talking to them about the work I knew needed to be invested. They gave me good prices for the definitive work (change brakes/roaders, and a battery) and they provided a reasonable estimate for the work they thought would need to be done. I will have them fix my cars and I plan to continue using them as long as they keep this professional attitude.

 + -1 moreI have used Alternative Tire for many years so I thought it was time to let everyone know they do quality work and are trustworthy. While driving the front end would rattle on bumpy roads almost to the point I thought the entire front end of my car was going to fall out. I dropped off my car to alternative and they promptly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. It turned out I needed inner and outer tie rods, idler arm, sway bars and left upper ball joint replaced. It took them only a day to do all the work and my car is great again. I had this same work performed less than three years ago while I lived in Colorado and it cost me almost double and I did not have my care for 4 days, so I have something to compare this job with. Dave is always professional and curdious Great guy and Great place to have your work done !!!

 + -1 moreI had a major problem with my car. One service station said there was nothing they could do since the parts for my particular car are nearly impossible to get. Another said they would do it but it would take 2 weeks and quoted me a price of $900 for parts and labor. I went to Alternate Tire (where I've purchased tires for both my vehicles before). They helped me locate a dealer who I could order the parts from (at a cost of only $125)and did the work for me. It took a total of 3 days as I waited for the parts to be sent to my home and Alternate Tire charged me only labor. Grand total: $300 INCLUDING THE PARTS!! The car runs great. Everyone at Alternate Tire is honest and professional. A great bunch of guys!
