Lots of compliments from neighbors. They were great about keeping me apprised of when they would be available for the work. Very professional and cleaned up after themselves very well.

+ -1 moreThey did a very nice job lifting up the stones and re-laying them. It turned out very well. Everything is even now, and they look great. Furthermore, Mark was great about communicating with me both via phone and email to keep me posted on the status of the project. The crew was professional and prompt. They will be coming back in the fall to help with maintenance of my retaining wall as well.
Description of Work: I live in an 100+year old house. The front steps and walkway are stone and original to the house. They were uneven and in need of repair.

+ -1 moreMark's crew arrived on time, and went to work immediately. They chiseled away old mortar and crumbling stone, and replaced it with similar stone. They were pleasant to deal with, answered all of my questions and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day. The job was completed in three days, and looks great.
Description of Work: The sandstone of my foundation was badly eroded. In places the stone had worn away entirely.

The work looks great, all water damage has ceased and we are bringing Mark and his team back to complete other work on the site and at other church campus locations. We are grateful that Mr. Funk takes so much pride in his work, is so generous and is able to accomplish the tasks he has outlined in a timely fashion and with great integrity.
Description of Work: Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh engaged Mark Funk Masonry Maintenance to help us repair the brick that was deteriorating at one of our campus locations. We had just renovated the location and we were experiencing water damage to the new work due to the inadequate upkeep of the building's exterior. After a thorough assessment and bidding process, we chose Mr. Funk. he and his team were consummate professionals, completed the job in a timely fashion, worked with our budget and possessed/maintained the integrity we were seeking in relationships with vendors. They grinded out the side of the building, replaced lentils, removed debris repointed and buffed and even helped us to get shoddy electrical work repaired with the local service provider so they could work safely and we could have the appropriate service we deserve.
