They were absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend supporting this small business. The guys were great, on time and very understanding that the items being moved mean something to me. They are so much worth the price and the price wasn't bad at all. They know their job and they do it well. You won't go wrong if you hire them.

The movers were very helpful and kind. It was in the 90s and I had 26 steep stairs leading to my front door. I was impressed with how hard they worked, without complaint. The price was very fair and I’d definitely hire these guys again.

The movers were fantastic. They were quick and efficient even in 90+ degree heat. I highly recommend using them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! WHEN they damage your belongings they will become combative. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ASK FOR THEIR INSURANCE INFORMATION UP FRONT! THEY ARE NOT THE ONES TO MAKE ANY JUDGEMENTS! They will block you from calling or texting and belittle you as you can see on other reviews in their responses. If they had any ethics they would post their insurance information as a reply! They are not local to pittsburgh and registered in BUCKS county. They defraud customers and do not comply with PA law. TAKE A PICTURE OF THE LICENSE PLATE! They rent from U-haul and their auto insurance policy is on file! When they take possession of your belongings they are now responsible. Any damage or claims of damage should go through their insurance provider. NOT THE OWNER!!!!! They do have minimum state insurance coverage and are dramatically underinsured for a motorist, let alone a moving company. Also make sure you put the move on your credit card so you have recourse from their actions. Remember, you are the consumer and have rights, you do not need to be harassed at any point. the PA attorney general office has multiple complaints that have been filed. a simple google of Shawn (who as you can see in the reviews is both an owner and worker) will return a very concerning article from the Trib regarding federal jail time in regards to an incident with a 12 year old. They will claim they are female owned, however Jennifer is using this as context to marital property.

Arrived on time! Worked non stop loading and unloading and were very professional. Highly recommend!!

Amazing!!!! I had a moving company set up and they overbooked and showed up 8 hours late.... and wanted to when I tried to reschedule it was for 3 days later... I called J and S, they called back in minutes.. scheduled for the next day. Arrived on time, got everything loaded and unloaded in 3 hours! I am so grateful for them, I would have been in a pinch .. you are all amazing 👏 I can't thank them enough...oh and their prices are fantastic, the other company wanted to charge me a lot more.. thank you 😊

Havibg moved many times, this was by far the worst experience with movers ever. DO NOT recommend! Was told that crew would arrive between 10 and 11. Never showed until 12:15. Many items were left behind as we had to leave for our closing. Many items were damaged. Crew leader lied to one owner about my requests as I was speaking with the other owner. Was told crew could stay until job was complete, but they left before everything was done. Returned and confronted my husband with "what's your problem"! Made them leave. Never would recommend!

J & S moving were WONDERFUL! They worked so hard! They moved my daughter across the state the 1st time and the 2nd time they moved furniture from a house to another house! Very Professional and super friendly!!! They are the BEST! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS!!!

Movers were 4 hours late due to their truck breaking down. Then when they arrived they seemed fast and friendly. They were moving items from 3 storage units (2 - 10x10 and 1 - 5x8) into our new empty home. I started to notice one employee smoking. Then as time went on they seemed to get less gentle with our items. It took 4 hours to load the truck then they requested to stop at a sheetz for drinks....which I understand but we also get charged for that time. Then when we got to our house things declined quickly. Items were just tossed down the ramp even ones l Clearly labeled fragile. Nate and Dwayne slowed way down saying how tired they were and still smoking. Then they started to just drop items anywhere vs where we wanted including the garage. So due to paying by the hour my husband and I quickly jumped in to get things done because we just saw money going down the drain. We helped for about 2 hours to 2.5 hours just to get them done so we didn't have to pay for our items to be carelessly tossed and them standing around or smoking or placing items where we didn't want. Then Before they even pulled our of the driveway at 10:30pm they were calling for remaining payment. I personally wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Shawn was very nice and a hard worker and the woman in customer service was great but overall the experience wasn't great.

Vinny and Chris showed up 15 minutes early, made a plan on how to efficiently get all the office furniture out of a particularly narrow area and get it loaded and moved to the new office in under 2 hours. They were very professional and quick, even in the pouring down rain, and without any issues arising. Jen was also easy to get in touch with and talk to and payment was quick and easy. Thank you all so much. I would definitely recommend them for any move you are planning!

We were extremely happy with the services provided by J & S moving company! We were having trouble finding movers to help us unload our truck in the State College area at the end of July, due to the busy time of year around here. Most local companies were either all booked up or extremely expensive. Some moving companies were not even willing to help us as we were moving into a third-floor apartment. Jen sent two guys from two hours away to help us at a very reasonable rate. They service the state College area, even though they're located outside of Pittsburgh. Vinny and Chris arrived on time and were extremely friendly, efficient and hard-working. We really liked them! They listened to what we wanted and gave us good advice. They got our whole truck unloaded in under three hours, and did it with smiles on their faces. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. We were extremely blessed to have found J & S moving company to help us in our move. Can't thank them enough!

They were fast and efficient. They are also very friendly and they definitely did a good job as far as I packing it, and making sure that everything is taken care off.

They packed up all my stuff, they did everything in clean manner. They cleaned up after themselves. They just did a great job overall that to make them so quick.

Our move went very smoothly. Two polite movers really hustled on a hot day to get our things out of one place, into another and set-up where we wanted.

Everything from loading, unloading and making sure items were placed in our new home, went perfectly! The moving team were kind and courteous and really cared about us and took pride in their work!
