Our shipment was picked up on May 23, 2014 in Hurricane, WV and had been stored at your facility near Mount Joy, PA for almost two weeks. We were excited to resume our daily lives as soon as possible in our new home. The delivery crew was supposed to arrive at noon on July 10th. They were late. Upon arrival, the driver strongly urged us not to check off each item on the inventory pages because it would take too long and the crew had other jobs to finish before the end of the day. We felt sorry for them and agreed to not itemize the receipt of each carton. The delivery, which filled a very large truck, took considerable time to unload. Late that night, before signing the inventory list, I checked the truck to ensure that it was empty. All that was left were some presumably empty wardrobe boxes. The crew left our house between 8:45pm and 9:00pm. The box was discovered missing the next morning. After opening every box in the house, I called the Mount Joy office to report that we were missing a carton of electronics. I was told that she would check with the delivery crew. They reported back later that our box was not on the truck. At that time, we realized what all had been in the box and how much it was all worth. It was labeled “Xbox and games”. Within a couple of days, our daughter realized that her $300 cash was stolen from her wallet. She had been saving that money for months to purchase a computer. Response from American Red Ball: I have reviewed the additional information you have provided and do understand your concerns. However, I can assure you that yes, everyone with Red Ball and our partnering agent was interviewed regarding this loss as is standard practice for every alleged shortage to determine possible facts for consideration to support a conclusion for any claim. Such was the reason for the request for additional information from you rather than just decline the claim. As I mentioned, whatever the outcome, I must be able to support the conclusion of the claim. The facts do not support that this carton was tendered to the carrier, nor that if it were, that it was not delivered. The documentation supports that everything tendered to the carrier did deliver. Points we want to stress: 1. We trusted the moving company and crew with our belongings. 2. We even offered to share our dinner with the crew. 3. Our electronics and $300 cash belonged to our children and they were heartbroken at their loss. 4. If that box had been labeled “books”, it would not be missing. 5. We have been told in your email response that our stuff is gone and it is our fault.
Description of Work: Hired to move our belongings to Manheim, PA. A box containing game systems and games was missing. In addition, a handheld game system and games was taken, as well as cash from a night stand.

Excellent service!!! They moved us during the storm that occured on 10/29/2012. The men that moved us were very professional. They took extra care to keep all items from being wet. The move went so well that the estimated hours the move would cost was decreased by 1 hr. Great Movers....I would use them anytime.From
