Description of Work: installed new water heater. called back when no water out of my powder room faucet. came back promptly and found filter on faucet clogged with sediment from pipe when water turned back on. Unscrewed it, cleaned it, and screwed back on. Puzzle solved quickly!

Description of Work: turtle tech was hired through our home warranty company. They were the second contractor sent out, they did a great job evaluating our problem and installing our new heater(in the freezing cold). They were paid through warranty company so we do not know cost. We would use them again.

Description of Work: I bought a "Deal" for a new water heater. I was able to schedule the appointment easily and to fit into my schedule. Unfortunately, when the workers came out to my place, it turned out that there was not enough space to install the water heater I had requested. They offered to find one of the same volume that would fit (new gov't regulations require more insulation = larger size), but were not able to. They rescheduled a time to come out and put in a different brand and smaller volume tank. They worked quickly and neatly. They were not annoyed with my dog barking at them every time they walked by. Overall, satisfied with my experience.

Description of Work: Anton replaced a part of our heating-air conditioning system when it died of old age two years ago at Christmas. Recently the original compressor stopped working in the middle of a heat wave,and I would not have even considered calling anyone else for help. I already knew that Anton would come as soon as possible, do a very competent repair, charge a reasonable price and be pleasant and informative. He came the very same day, found the failed part and replaced it at a reasonable price. He explained what we could and should do to keep the machinery functioning and what would need to be done in case of failure which probably be in a year or so. Since he had got it going, we agreed to wait for compressor replacement. It is very comforting to know Anton's help is available and I have recommended him to friends without any reservations. Angie's List users can rely on this company for top-notch service.

Description of Work: They fixed a clogged pipe under my air conditioner unit in the basement. They fixed it and performed maintenance checks on the other unit in the attic as well as the condensers outside. They were very professional and did a FANTASTIC job. They went above and beyond considering we only requested the fix downstairs. |I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: To be honest with you i don't know if it was the fridge or the heater they serviced but remember the guy and how professional he was , friendly, explained everything to us before he did the job. Told us to call him if we had anymore issues and wished us a good day which i thought was very nice customer service as some people just leave without saying anything but ''ok, everything is up and running now'' and walk out the door. i do not remember the date but believe it was around january or feburary 2014.

+ -1 moreWhen our furnace, old and an unusual model, died just before Christmas, I expected a long cold spell until we could find someone to replace it. Very fortunately, Your Duct Guy service contacted Turtle Tech and the next day Anton came to inspect the job. He not only knew how to find replacement parts, but used Lennox products rather than the no-name products used for some of the other condos. We all took a day off for Christmas, and the 26th he ordered the parts. On the 27th, he and his helper arrived with the equipment and did the installation. We could not have dreamed of more prompt service! His work was excellent, and the duct work to connect the rest of the system is a marvel. He cleaned and recharged the related air conditioning system and installed a new thermostat. He is very polite and professional in his attitude. He and his helped worked constantly - no breaks - for about 8 hours straight to get the job done. They left the site in very clean condition. The new system works so efficiently and quietly that we wonder why we put up with the death process of the old system for so long! If we had known what difference was possible, we would have done it before all the Christmas drama! I am very grateful to have been led to Turtle Tech. Anton provided better equipment, at a lower price, than others in this condo have received. It was a pleasure at all times to work with him. He clearly takes personal satisfaction at working skillfully and competently, the attitude of a real craftsman. I heartily recommend him. I don't think we will need his services for a while, but if we do, I'll call him in a heartbeat.
