It went very well - he is very courteous & professional. He even moved my dryer out of a really tight spot and then back (dryer vent hooked up as well) after the work was done.

Dave was very good. He came in and we walked through what had to be completed. He was cognizant of the fact that there were computers running in premises so he gave warning when having to disconnect electricity. All repairs/replacement went well and everything works great.

This is a long overdue review. We called DTS Electric based on other Angie's List and online reviews. Dave was prompt, courteous, clean, and helpful discussing our current and upcoming electrical needs for our new home. Dave installed the outdoor electrical outlet on time, as described. We also had Dave come back again after we purchased a hot tub. He also connected the electricity for that as well. Again, he was on time and completed the work as described. We wouldn't hesitate to call him back on any future electrical needs.

After last power outage of 4 1/2 days decided to install generator transfer box and exterior power cord so that I could use all my house electronics without extension cords running through house. Called 4 electricians after the storm and DTS responded quickly to my call, came out that evening for an estimate and installed the transfer box within a couple of days. DTS arrived on time on day of installation and since the job went a little quicker than DTS expected they even reduced the estimated price by $75. All in all, very good experience and satisfied customer.

My recessed lighting in my living room was blinking so I wasn't sure if it was the light or the switch. He came out and was very nice. Suggested trying replacing the switch first as the cheaper option instead of talking me into work I didn't need. He said if that didn't work, give him a call and we would take it from there. He was fast, friendly and very professional. Would definitely hire him again.

David is a great contractor to work with. We found him on Angie's List (based on great reviews) and actually had used him last year to remove and install (4) new outdoor lighting fixtures for us which he did beautifully. I should share that I am always especially concerned when having outside work done on our home as we have a Dryvit exterior, which is a sensitive stucco product that can easily be damaged with tools that are not used carefully.The job came out perfectly ! Recently we had some issues with an older heat/fan/light fixture in our master bathroom and contacted David. This is yet another area where we have found that David sets himself apart from other contractors. He is extremely helpful and willing to answer any and all questions you may have about your electrical job, and also will discuss different options that might be available to get your job done. He once again did a great job and installed a replacement part which was a bit of a challenge on this older type of fixture, as it was difficult to remove, and then realign correctly back into the ceiling opening (after replacement with the new part was done). David is knowledgeable, prompt with communication, super neat and clean in every step of his work, and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does. It is a pleasure to recommend him, and we will certainly use him again!

We were very satisfied with Dave. He performed the job as expected and the cost was as quoted. He also gave us some ideas for other upgrades but did not push.

He was a very pleasant, professional man and he replaced the switch and tightened the plate which was loose. He showed me how to operate the new switch and I was very happy with the results. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrical contractor.

David was very professional returned all phone calls quickly, ordered the parts and scheduled the work as soon as he had them. The work took a day and a half and he worked hard the whole time very personable guy loves dogs! He did a very professional job left everything clean and made sure everything was working for us when he left. David returned the next week to explain how everything worked to my husband who had been out of town! Highly recommend David and will definitely use this company again.

very good, professional work

This is the 3rd time David has done work for us. He is always prompt and professional. There were a few little snags in this project but he was great about letting us know and suggesting solutions.

It turned out great. The thing I really like about him is that he really does not try to sell me something. He really tries to make it so it is economical. He tell me what I have to do or this is what I could do. He tell me things I need to do, but that I don't need to do them right then so I can kind of budget things out. I really feel safe with him that he is not going to try and take me for a ride. Being able to trust some contractors is a problem. He is going to have to come back to look at the breaker again because it has been working intermittently.

We were hoping to have more done, but the electrician let us know that we would need more time to get it all done. We got the big deal for 2 hours of work. We bought 2, for 4 hours. He needed to leave to get some supplies for our project. We got atleast half of what we had hoped to get done.

He came out quickly, he actually stayed until the job was done because we're going out of town and did a great job.

They were very good in their service! I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Our water heater broke on a Friday afternoon. We scrambled to get an HVAC person out before the weekend (especially with a 3week old, we needed hot water). When the HVAC person looked at the heater, he quickly told us the problem was electrical. We called around to a few electricians, and David was the first to respond and was able to come out on Sunday. He arrived as scheduled and, after inspecting the circuitry surrounding the unit, told us it was the heater- the electrical was fine. He even gave us a recommendation for an HVAC person if the one we had used previously was unable/unwilling to fix the situation. Long story short-the HVAC guy came back out, confirmed that David was right and was able to repair the unit. And what really impressed us was that David called back the next day to make sure that all had worked out okay. Will definitely use him again!

Called DTS in the morning and left a message to schedule an appointment for an estimate of electrical work. He called me back that same day in the evening but I had already solved the problem. Though this was the limit of our interaction, I would definitely call him in the future for an estimate if the need should arise, as I was pleased not only with with his responsiveness but also with his professionalism and courtesy during our phone call.

David is incredible. When we called him after the hurricane, he was here in ten minutes. He is just a great guy and I really like him. We were new to the area and for us, to have a contractor respond that quickly, in the time of real need was great because we had been without power for over a week and to have the power come on and then not being able to use it was stressful.

Showed up on time did his work and ot me help with the electric company to do what they needed to do as well.

Dave was a little delayed at arriving, but he called an hour in advance to warn me. The problem was not easy to find, but Dave was very thorough. He also stayed extra on the job to get everything back together so that I would not have to take more time off from work. I would recommend Dave to a friend.

David was very responsive to providing a quote and his price was very reasonable compared with other quotes. It was easy to find a mutually convenient date approximately 1.5 weeks after we agreed to work together, so the wait was not too long. David came to the job by himself and worked hard and steadily throughout the day. The work took all day, which seemed about right given the pace and quality of the job. His workspace was neat and tidy and he took care with our furniture and possessions. He seems a kind person and I was comfortable having him in my home. He did some unexpected rewiring at a reasonable additional cost. The results look really great!!!! I will definitely use DTS for future electrical work.

Very helpful and responsive to my needs

He did an excellent job. He is good, clean and does the job well. If you have a problem, he comes back. He doesn't just do the job and leave. He is a good electrician.
