It's been a fine experience. I am currently using them. It's been satisfactory. They are just operating as my agent. I wouldn't recommend them to a family or a friend. No reason in particular, just different styles.

We worked primarily with Coldwell Banker's Mary Anne Gallagher, who walked us through what the process of selling a home in a competitive market would be like. Part of that process involved both a market analysis of recently sold homes, as well as walking through of comparable homes on the market. By the time we were ready to list our home, I believe we had a sober--but realistic -- sense of how to price it. As a result, whereas most of the comparables in our area were on the market for 45 days and up--even with price reductions--before receiving an accepted offer, we received two offers within our acceptable range two weeks after listing. [This was fortunate because the first person we moved forward with withdrew the offer without explanation several weeks later; we were then able to move forward with the second offer, which was still open.] There were other "moments" as we prepared for the final sale when crises seemed to emerge from nowhere, and Mary Anne did a great job of putting the situations in perspective while helping to find solutions. In preparing the house for sale, we consulted in depth with Mary Anne about the pros and cons of various repairs and replacements. We felt that her recommendations were consistent and quite reasonable, so we didn't spend a lot of time worrying about what we should--or shouldn't do to prepare for the sale. She worked with her associate, Keith Harris, who was the "face" of the sale and who was a bundle of energy ensuring that all the details that needed attending to were done well and completed on time. I believe they complemented each other's strengths extremely well. In summary, Mary Anne was very responsive and professional and, together with Keith, helped make the difficult experience from preparing to sell through the final paperwork as good as it could have been.
