Cambridge Landscapes

The project went very well. This was a 2-day job, The crew was prompt and did a great job at removing approx 12 large bushes that were over 30 years old with large deep roots. The entire bed was cleared and replanted with new shrubs and plants. Also included removal of a dead Cherry Tree.

We have worked with Scott and his team for several smaller jobs, and then a massive (by our standards) job this past fall. Each time, same experience; returns my initial call, comes out when he says he will, starts the job when he said he would, and never charges me a dime over for something I didn't ask for! And the work is great...couldn't ask for a better experience. He even followed up to see how the grass was coming up!

Our new patio and walkway are just beautiful and Cambridge Landscapes is the best! I am very picky about contractor work and I can't say one negative thing about this company. Scott (owner) is very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. His crew takes great pride in their work and it showed in the finished product. We had other estimates but chose Cambridge (price was right in line with others) due to our first impression upon meeting Scott. Call Cambridge and you will be happy!

It went great. They are very professional, efficient, came on time, did a very good job, and were done when they said they would be done.

The workers did an excellent job and worked very hard. They were all very respectable and polite.

Everything was very nice. We did lose the cherry trees but the ferns are fine. We weren.t sure the cherry trees would make it from the outset. They were very understanding about a couple of last minute changes. We were so glad they recommended the river stone for our rock garden. It was a great solution for us.

Scott and his crew did a great job, they kept coming back and fine tuning areas until things worked as they should.

Excellent. We've had a very rainy spring so we had to wait an extra day but it was well worth it.

Scott and his team were incredible! My husband and I met with Scott for a quote and he explained every aspect of what we needed done in great detail. He also provided a very large list of references, which included the work performed, and clients who agreed to be contacted. Once we signed the contract, Scott stayed in contact with us leading up to installation, as we had to coordinate things between him and a fence company we were using. Right before their start, we decided we wanted to change something with our patio and Scott was very accommodating. He never made us feel like we were a burden, and was always available every time we had a question. We ended up running into an issue with our fence company, and Scott was there to save the day, going out of his way to help us get the work completed, even though it wasn't typically something his company handles. I could go on about how helpful he was, but I think you get the point! I would recommend this company to everyone I know! And let me not leave out Kaitlyn, she was great as well. Since changes were made a few times, we had to keep altering the contract, and not once did she get it wrong, or make it an issue to keep drafting up new ones! Cambridge is simply THE BEST!

True professionals. Highly recommended. The project involved landscape grading / yard leveling, installation of a new stone patio, planting trees and shrubs, running new drain pipes, seeding grass, installation of landscape beds, and installation of curbstone for mulch beds. Cambridge did an excellent and timely job and we are very pleased with the results. From start to finish, Scott and Kaitlyn were responsive, helpful and thorough.

He is probably one of the most unprofessional contractors I have met. Usually the people on Angie's list are good, but this is an exception - what a terrible experience.

Cambridge is awesome. Extremely responsive and included tons of references, license and proof of insurance (without me even asking). Their price was extremely competitive and my lawn looked like it should have been on the cover of a magazine when they were finished. Fantastic company and first-class owner. Would absolutely use again and would provide a glowing recommendation.

They were really good. When they left my lawn looked better than before they got here. They cleaned up really good, came on time and all the workers were really nice. I would recommend them to anyone. They were like the best ones here so far.

The services performed were great. The crew was professional, courteous and paid attention to their work. The quality of their work is exceptional. Reasonable in pricing, provides certificate of insurance info, as well as references. Owner is very customer service oriented and knowledgeable. We did have an issue with the border of paver not being the correct color. This issue was an error with the supply vendor. Cambridge listened to our concerns, and came out immediately. They had the crew back out to our house within a few days to correct the border paver issue. Cambridge also removed some trees and shrubs. They were able to find trees and shrubs we were interested in. We were very impressed with how nice the front yard is looking. Cannot wait for spring time to view the crepe myrtle!

great. Cannot say one bad thing about this company. They arrived on time, and left everything like it was when they left. We were only going to do the back patio, but since they did such a great job we decided not to wait and did the front of our home right after, and was a pleasure to work with.

Scott and his entire team are amazing! The hardscaping work that they did on our backyard has totally transformed it! Scott originally came out and gave us a quote for the work last year and when we finally decided to proceed he came back this past May to update his quote for us. We discussed what we wanted specifically to have removed and redone and then relied on his advice and creativity to run with the final design. We couldn't be happier with the end results. The qualify of their workmanship is exceptional. They were mindful of our requests to to reuse materials and transplant certain plants in the new design. The team worked diligently every day despite the extreme heatwave that was taking place at the time and they finished in the amount of time that Scott estimated. We love the new hardscaping and especially the pond that they installed for us! We plan to have Scott and his landscape team come back for the fall planting season to finish up the project with some additional landscaping.

Perfect! Scott and his crew went above and beyond to make sure the end result was exactly what I wanted. My job was fairly priced, done in a timely manner. The crew's full attention was on my job. I was very impressed attention to detail. I look forward to using Cambridge Landscapes for my next project.

They did a great job. The front walk and patio look GREAT. Weeks later I still feel happy walking down the new front walk. They were all a pleasure to work with. Scott and his site manager Alex were both easy to reach and responsive. All the workers were friendly and professional and by and large the whole team worked clean. The Cambridge pavers really look great and they seem to be good quality and the installation was well done. All in all our entire house looks 1,000 times better from the outside for having done this work. The pavers are expensive to install; we had to ration the amount of space we used the pavers for. Scott was great in helping us to work with our budget - we worked together on his initial estimate to drop things from the list or modify them to create a project that we could afford (just barely, ha) but that would still make a huge impact. Scott was there at the end of the project checking every detail and running quality control, which was appreciated. They were also flexible and willing to add/change things as we went along. My only complaints: all the dust from both the work and from cutting the pavers left the driveway looking very dingy; I am now hiring someone to powerwash the driveway (and the house while we are at it). I did not feel they had a huge amount of advice to give about what to plant or how to arrange plants in the beds. They are more about landscaping/hardscaping than gardening. There was a mad rush to finish towards the end and a couple of details were neglected - in one place, gravel and mulch meet and now they are running into each other because a divider was not installed. Another place where mulch meets the driveway seems like a bad idea in retrospect - the mulch is falling on to the driveway. And where the pavers meet the driveway asphalt there is an unsightly seam that we have to figure out how to fix. Finally, with a little more time to think it through we may have put a bed for plantings against the back of the house where there is now gravel. Nevertheless I would work with Cambridge again without any hesitation and I would recommend them to anybody.

After getting the run-around from other providers. Called Scott Brown. He came out, gave me a price. Did the job a few days later. Excellent work! Very responsive and easy to business with. Highly recommend.

cambridge did a great job. it is very high quality work, on time, on budget, great clean up. could not be happier and i will definitely use them again. they are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. materials, craftsmanship and professional was well worth the price.

The pricing was fairly expensive. I would not use them in the future.

This is, by far, one of the best contractors I have ever worked with for home improvements. Scott Brown was a true professional, and the first thing he did when he met with me for the first time was to provide references, discussed insurance coverages, and his various certifications which all put me very much at ease. When he returned with his proposal, he made numerous suggestions for things I had not thought of (nor did the other two contractors I interviewed), and they all made sense. His crew was amazing - and probably the hardest workers I have ever seen.............Breaking up old concrete and blacktop is a difficult job but this crew knocked this all out in a short time. Cambridge's specialty seems to be hardscape pavers and walkways, but they also excel at concrete work too. I am still getting complements on how great my house looks - usually from people i have never met who just happen to walk by. My neighbors also loved their work and had Cambridge do some work at their houses as well.

Contractor was selected from several possibilities, including those from Angie's List. We were given some selections of upgraded paver products to choose from, and found what we wanted. Work crew was there every day and project moved forward as scheduled. Some issues re cleanup daily, but those were corrected. Contractor worked with us on changes we made during the course, and was very mindful of storm water concerns, with a good result. Appearance of the patio at the end was what we had sought with the original concept and plan. Would recommend Cambridge to others; would use again ourselves. Enough said.

Scott was prompt and professional. He kept all scheduled appointments and performed all work as agreed. The job cost a bit more than I originally anticipated, but the final cost was as agreed. We did have a lot of work done and the quality is excellent. I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

Scott and his crew were flat out amazing from start to finish. When we got the estimate, Scott showed up with all his papers of insurance and certificates for us to keep and pictures of previous jobs that they have done. The crew arrived the day that they said they would, and when they started, they didn't stop! They removed our old cracked concrete patio that water would just run to the back door of our house and would have us standing there in fear every time it rained hard and installed a breath taking paver patio with two retaining walls will drainage behind it to divert the water over to the side of the house. The whole time throughout the project Scott would keep us updated with what was going on and when to expect certain things to be done. The crew was very professional and cleaned up at the end of everyday so there was nothing laying around that you could trip over. Once they we're all done, the clean up was just as amazing as the job on the patio was. The amount of dirt that was in our yard, you would never know was there, as they got all of it out and seeded and put straw down. Our neighbors are just blown away by the transformation of our backyard and how hard the crew worked. From what our backyard looked like before to what it is now, words just don't do it justice, as they have given us a place to entertain for years to come!! Needless to say, we are customers for life and wouldn't even bother looking for anyone else to do work in the future!
